  1. I don't really think that that is the cause mate. Just a coincidence in my opinion. I would just put it down to more RS players. Have you been to Iron/Steel Drags recently?
  2. I think it may just be down to the Draconic Visage update, but there seem to be a helluva lot more people online lately, causing a few more full servers. This afternoon I counted 13 full and another 18 with 1900+ players, with a total of over 222,000 players online at the time (this was about 4pm GMT). I normally use world 83 as a homeworld - a couple of days ago, not only was 83 full but also 2 others in the same location - I've never experienced that before. Like I said, this seems to have coincided with the Visage update, so maybe things will settle down once the market for them has dropped a bit.
  3. Muggi's case was exceptional. They usually take the shirt OFF your back.
  4. Yeah but fletch X has pushed up the price of mages to 1.1-1.2k ea. so keep on cutting...
  5. One reason could be that Runescape isn't a Market Economy Simulator Game. Its a FANTASY swords and sorcery game based largely on combat. If you choose to play it as some kind of 'pseudo-medieval - Wall Street simulation', that's up to you. But the game was never designed to be played in that way, so why should Jagex pander to your needs when creating updates?
  6. If you can't think of a good reason for yourself, then I certainly can't think of one.
  7. I really wish I could sig that!
  8. Is this an update? Because I've had a giant pouch in my bank for months, and I'm only have 63 runecrafting at present (giant pouch requires 75 RC), it would been a few levels lower still when I picked up the pouch.
  9. Which is the most skilful skill? (As originally asked in the post)... Clearly slayer, since once you have done what you need to do to access the Abyss you are pretty much done as far as RC is concerned. Whereas to train Slayer effectively, you have to access many different areas of the RS world (some requiring quests), become a reasonable level in all combat skills, and learn a bit about the map/teleports to complete a task in the most efficient manner, and those are just the things that spring immediately to mind.
  10. If you did check your days left, you would probably see that Jagex tend to take payment for the next month 2-3 days early. Its no bother, you always get what you pay for, and they always get paid for what you get.
  11. For future reference : http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=172
  12. For the reasons stated above, if the dark bow isn't DAMN good, the cost of obtaining it / sale price will outweigh the perceived value / purchase price, and it will simply drop off the runescape radar. i.e. Slayers will be saying, "There's no way I'm selling this bow for less than 200k after the time and money I expended obtaining it", while potential buyers will be saying, "Well its only a little better than the MSB so there's no way I'm paying 200k for it." I'm sure Jagex will have thought of this, so expect a rocking new weapon. :-w
  13. No, no and no. In fact, when I am skilling I invariably wear nothing (my character not me), unless it requires a lot of running around e.g. farming, in which case i will wear a spotted cape and boots of lightness.
  14. So let me get this right: You are dyslexic, your spelling is poor as is your grammar (I would guess as a result of your dyslexia - though I know nothing about the condition), and Jagex made you a FORUM MOD????!!!!! Either you are lying, or Jagex's forum system needs a major overhaul.
  15. Wouldn't the third in the sequence simply be a sequel to the second? SEQUEl being a derivative of SEQUEnce rather than second.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢Ãâæ
  16. Given that every quest storyline is a complete work of fiction on Jagex's part, it is obvious that no storyline will EVER be complete.
  17. I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but I just want to say that - along with the achievement diary poll, the blitz on RWT'ers and botter's - it would appear that Jagex are finally listening to the voices of their most valuable players. That'll be us members then! Long may this spirit (and RS, because if the RWT and botting had continued unabated it wouldn't) continue.
  18. Bought 133 magic shorts for 20k!
  19. Frankly Sir, you're an...I'll let you work out the rest.
  20. Food? Repairs? Range'em! Simple safe spots.
  21. The point (as probably most other both virtual and real newspapers) is to give readers an opportunity to express their opinions and feelings on current topics going on in daily life. I get at least 4 PMs per day requesting if they can write an article. Simply, if you don't want to be bothered with the newspapers, don't click on the topic. Otherwise, anyone is welcome to come and read and write an article :). Isn't that what the forums are for in the first place? Do we need forums within forums? And if we do then, as I said, can we have a sticky for them?
  22. # I agree D lizards are a bit pants, and I would Burthorpe them now, but at least they drop mystic.
  23. To which I would reply, "Ya, do you have a balloon?" Ask a silly question...
  24. i loved them when i was going to 85 :) kwarm drops FTW...but worste task was dessert lizards..i think it was from shilo village master...sucks that u cant change them MTK for Kwuarms = no effort at all. :)
  25. Since I haven't posted on Miscellania since page one of the original thread (not this one), and have been a regular user of MTK ever since, I'd just like to say that, if you want maximum profit for your money - set the workers to 100%/10 workers on flax and 50%/5 workers on coal, then sell the lot! You'll get 1250 flax @100 ea. = 125K gp + 273 coal @200 ea. = 54.6k Total = 179.6k That's 104.6k profit per day, if you keep your approval at 100% and the cash banked above 825k. You may be able to beat this some days by using maples to get tree seeds, but you can't guarantee good seeds every time.
