1. Now, I know this will be weird for you people here, but I don't want to ask how to get a girlfriend. I really wanted to ask how not to get one. There is this girl at my school I really like, and I'm pretty sure that she feels me friendly. In fact, I'm quite interested to get to know her better, and I was thinking of inviting her somewhere soon. However, my problem is that I don't really want to get into a love relationship at the moment, and especially not with her, but what I really wanted is to have a friendly relationship with her. Seeing that this happens the other way around, I'd be afraid that she thinks I'm interested in her as a girlfriend, and eventually hurting her feelings. Any advice on this?
2. I'm fairly sure they suffered a change recently, so they're much harder to catch now. I used to multi-task while hunting (e.g. setting bird snares and hunting butterflies) for faster exp, but it seems it isn't worth it now. If you want experience, I'd suggest you to hunt something else.
3. You have to move the last [/hide] tag. It should be like this: [hide]

Adam made me
i think she licked teh counter and it tasted gross
[/hide] I don't think she would be so far back if that was the case. Either she was mooning somebody and had felt like sticking her tongue at the camera, or something entirely different. :uhh: Edit: ah crap, this is my first time using the hide option, so this got completely and utterly screwed up. At least my sig showed this time.
4. So, yeah, what do you think I'm doing?
5. *ahem* What's up with bumping two year old threads? -Now, just to not to spam, I sometimes use cheats, but I always try to finish the whole game without them.-
6. +1 Using Darklight's special on the demon helped me a lot, but a whip is much better for the real combat.
7. Or, you know, a fireplace, some wood, and a match :P . 1) Since the OP said nothing about ventilation of any kind, I'm supposing that you'll only get enough ventilation to stay alive for 20 years. 2) 800kg of glowing fungi are much more fun than simple logs and matches. -You really are serious cat in disguise, eh? 3) If you still insist on using the serious, boring alternative, why'd you get matches if you could get firelighters?
8. Fire Bolt is much more cost-effective. With Wind Blast you'll only get an average of 4 exp more per cast, which isn't really worth the big cost difference. Edit: Use Fire Bolt.
9. Showers don't need electricity to pump water (try getting a shower during a blackout), though some of them do need electricity to heat the water by themselves. However, I just found out, you can't ask for anything electric, so there are no lamps, and there are no windows. How could you live 20 years in the dark? It'd be like being blind! Or you'd have to ask for 800kg of glowing fungi.

(At least in OT) I usually follow most thread that interest me from the very beginning, and so I read all posts. Otherwise, I only read the first 5~ posts and the last 2 pages. I usually skip-read the longest posts (thinking of warrior during some debates here), unless I'm actively debating, in which case I try to read every post about it. I normally don't skip any specific person's posts, even if they have awful grammar or spelling, they can have good points, or at least I'll get a small laugh about their spam.
11. Seeing the recent raise on the GE price on yews, I'd go with them either as a f2p or p2p, especially seeing your level is 82. At level 62 you'll fish Monkfish too slowly, and Swordfish/Lobsters aren't a great money maker. I wonder why it's so cool to spam now. Please, don't post if you aren't asking or question or giving real advice.
12. I'm usually good with 2 or 3 slices. My stomach is stupidly small, I'd simply throw up with 4 slices.
13. You can safely get up to level 34 in defence before the quest, and the reward will get it to 40. So, try doing that first, and get adamant armour. Getting rune armour isn't necessary to kill the dragon, but you must get a rune weapon (my choice: longsword or scimitar). Your attack and strength levels are more than enough, don't worry. Bring a strength potion for further help when killing the demon and the dragon. And don't forget your anti-dragon shield.
14. Your stats are OK, but you'll have a tough time with such a low defence level, especially when fighting the lesser demon. As long as you don't want to be a "pure" account, I'd recommended you to get at least level 35 defence before doing the quest.
15. You just had bad luck, normally you'd simply have to try again. If it happens again, try with a different obstacle, that helps often.
16. The only way to get slayer exp is killing the monsters a slayer master assigns you. After you complete an assignment, you'll have to ask for a new one; you'll get no further exp if you keep killing the same monster after completing your assignment. By the way, if you feel your task is too hard for you, you can ask Turael in Burthorpe to change your task. This only works if you got the first assignment with another slayer master, and if it's not something Turael would assign himself, though. (Check Tip.i'ts guide for the assignment lists)
17. Your stats are all right to kill the Giant with your fists, just get enough (decent) food, and if you still feel insecure, I think you can still bring an att/str potion into the small dungeon.
18. If something like that happened in our school, we'd simply boycott these rules, even at the cost of getting a detention for everyone in the grade, and we'd write extensive formal letters to the principal/administrator, probably getting the support of some liberal teachers on the way. Why don't you try to organise your fellow students if you really are upset about that?
19. I've been using contacts for ~3 years, and before that I had used glasses for another 4 years. I'd say there isn't much difference in how people treat you, except at very young ages (7-9). I didn't change to contacts because of what people thought, but because they're harder to lose or scratch.

If you really use a can of deodorant as self-defence, you might as well carry a fire lighter with you. That hurts more.
21. That's exactly what I've been thinking. I'm just too scared of death at the moment. Not of the way I die, that's futile; I'm just scared of being dead, mostly because of my lack of knowledge. I'd certainly wouldn't want to die killing other people, even if I knew for certain that there would be no punishment for it. I'd love to die either comfortably and peacefully, or heroically, saving other people and affecting other lives in a positive way in the process.
22. You have to know about the lair (in-game) before you can get in there. YOu must start the Saving Sir Amik Varze subquest and ask the Wise Old Man about the Evil Chicken.
23. However, the Darklight is as good as a Dragon long against them, and the special weakens their strength and attack by 10%, so you might want to use it if you have it.

Barrow's set effects aren't like a weapon specials. Instead of waiting until the bar fills, they just happen randomly (and I think that for some of them there is a little animation). When Guthan's happens, you'll get healed by how hard you hit.
25. I'm pretty sure there was a water source there, a sink or something similar. Are you sure you aren't overlooking something like that?
