People seem to forget a few things. 1. Darkbeast are not abyssal demons, they are much higher level and much more powerful. People will not be able to just camp at them all day. They are going to either have to use prayer potions, or hope that Guthans keeps them safe. I really doubt you could stay their just on guthans. 2. No one knows the rarity of this drop...It could take a couple hundred to a thousand dark beast to get. You say there will be 2500ish people who will be able to kill. Well Dark beast are spread out, and 2500/65 servers=38 people for server. Sure not all will be on at once, but there will be huge competition. And I'd like to add to that. You'll have to include everyone 85 slayer + into the equation as they can kill them with Wild pies which were not around at the slayer release Then there's the fact that when the first few people had 85 slayer Jagex had NOT added the special drops yet.

These Imps sound interesting, it sounds like there will be multiple types not just Dragon. What else would Dragon imps get? Arrows, darts, dragonhide? I doubt they'd be getting of the armour/weapons though. But what other types of imps could there be? Hopefully there'll be a few good ones. So, who thinks I can go from 85-90 slayer and 43(ish) hunter - 83 in a couple of weeks? =P I'll probably try and get atleast 86 slayer, just to make wild pies much more effective. Sounds like a BRILLIANT update, hopefully the dark bow doesn't disapoint!

I don't know why but for some reason the classic picture of Varrock Museum bought back a lot of memories. Seeing those items on the floor just made me think back to my early days where getting things such as that was always such a happy moment :cry:

Similar thing happened to me. My "Friend" who i'd known for a while, we always used to pk together and do other things. He asked to wear my green once and I let him, he gave it back. Went a month or two then I got my red party aswell, he kept asking to wear it but I always declined saying I was busy (I was) but he kept bothering me about it and I was busy, until it was my birthday and had a few of my friends around and he was there so I decided to let him wear it. Haven't seen it since :(. I loved my Red Party hat, never going to get it back :cry: Then a few days later I was doing something, can't remember what. But I had my green and purple on me. Got DCed and logged back in in lumbridge... party hat less. WORST WEEK EVER.

I remember when the scrolls first came out, I camped at Zombies in the wilderness for days, got about 800k attack experience there without anything :( Killed 1000+ of each monster that drops them and had nothing >=(

The only thing that was hard/annoying about the quest was walking from the bank with a new inventory of lobs, just seemed to take forever.

That reminded me, the day the quest came out Mod Mark imed me and told me not to write a guide for it as he knew I worked for another site. Otherwise I'd probably have done one.

No it will never be added and no I wouldn't use it. For chatting to my friends I can just use the text chat. You never use the keyboard (Other than to move camera/run) so you can just type your messages. The reason Xbox and PC games etc. use mics is because the xbox does not have a keyboard by default and if you want to communicate in game, you want to do it on the move. PC games usualy require the keyboard to play and it'd be a pain to have to talk 100% of the time (Although most games feature text chat support too). It wouldn't work on Runescape, far too many people around at once, on other games there's only like 16 people max that you can communicate with, not to mention I don't want to hear 8 year olds swearing to try and be "cool". Then there's the bandwidth etc. It's a HORRIBLE idea and anynoe that thinks otherwise is well... It wouldn't work in Runescape, there's only a few situations where It'd be advantagous over text chat (Clan PKing) but that's about 5% max of the population, it'd be easier for them to use outside applications if they feel the need to use voice chat.

You expect him to already have gotten 100, and 1000 tickets already? Mind you he was the first person to get the hook, but that's not the point =P Seems semi useful I suppose, probably not worth the time just doing the tasks. I'll probably do them eventually anyway so I'll complete it as I play normally, not going out of my way for it.

Strange. Try buying some raw things from one of the brothers in the village, then cooking them on the fire south of it, that's what I used to do and I could cook them for a long time. You definatly need to have done the quest to cook them for that long though.

You don't need a stove to cook them longer, a normal fire will do. HOWEVER, you must have done the quest to cook them correctly.

Since when did you HAVE to do them? They're optional, do it if you want to. Sounds good, hopefully the rewards are useful too.

I don't see what's wrong with any of those updates, they make the game better and more balanced.

Mine isn't, but in a way it is. I know where I can find any item I'm looking for in a matter of seconds (Unless it's some random obscure item)

some of those are amazingly easy and some are hard, i think its like quake or doom 4 1 is, be ranked #1 player in all the world over xbox live or something. another i had gotten was during gears of war, do 5 active reloads in a row, i was playing on a friends 360 hes like ull probably get the 25 active reloads before you get the 5 in a row, right after he said that i got 5 in a row after doing like 7-10 active reloads total. First part of your post: Yes, they're going to be easy and hard as they've said, not as hard as being #1 player but difficult tasks. Second part of your post: I have no idea what you're saying, Active reloads rely on timing, 5 in a row is REALLY easy if you're good at timing and depending on the weapon you're using. Nothing to do with difficultying really...

Achivements sound great, lets just hope they do them right. Achivements are the new things for all games, lots of online games are adding them and the 360 has them built in, makes games last much longer :)

Sapphire ring has always done 10% damage. All of them useful, another month of useless updates :)

To be honest, I hate the forums now. Before I knew where I could find everything, if I needed to look at a specific topic I knew where to find it. Now I have to spend a few minutes trying to find out where the topic would be very annoying. I don't see what was wrong with it a few months ago, it was perfect then. Now it's just too confusing to find things.

It'll probably teleport you to: Crafting Guild Cooking Guild Ranger Guild Fishing Guild Mage Guild Legends Guild and Hero's guild, probably not. Warrior's guild is pretty much 50/50 imo. Very useful for getting around.

Pfft, I've killed THOUSANDS of irons without anything. Killed Hundreds of steels since my last skirt too... Had 8 skirts to 2 sets of legs... The legs came before skirts were even made...
