I think it's often used as to show a "laugh" at the beginning of a sentence. Meaning that when someone says "Lol, that sucks dude" they're doing one of those things where they kind of laugh during the sentence but are still serious. It's also used just to show someone thinks something is funny. Not necessarily that someone is actually laughing (despite the fact that lol actually means "laugh out loud").

It's also hell on your back. I used to enjoy running, but I have a muscle disease that worsens around age 13 or so, so for the past few years running has been very painful. At least I have a higher pain tolerance now :) .

But over what length? If you can transfer 10trillion bits/sec over 2 inches, that isn't a big deal. But if you can transfer 10 trillion bits/sec over 200,000 miles, that is a competely different story. Edit: Watched the video (didn't see the link earlier, lol). And if the slowest part if the fiberoptic cable is the metal peices on the end, then there shouldn't be a noticable difference between 2 feet and 200 miles. The police found the body of a 14 year old girl on the road behind my bushes who had been missing since the 4th of July. She was that one girl with the shaved head and the gang tatoos. That one girl? I still think this is a stupid idea. As said before, Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime. Due to global warming, parts of the world (the parts of africa we're talking about) can no longer provide themselves with food. It is not their fault, but they deal with the consequences. Just as polar bears suffer due to melting ice caps, the people in africa suffer due to rising temperatures, and an ever decreasing food supply. And I don't see anybody putting air conditioning units in Antactica. And how can people in the US give so much money to forign countries such as Africa, when we have so much homelessness and unimployment here? For those of you who don't know, there are people in this country who can't get food, and starve to death. Infact, while typing this, I can't believe how messed up this is. There are people starving on the streets in parts of this country. Yet we take the food from our country, export it with our money and give it to other countries. Meanwhile people here die of starvation. I can't believe this. I just can't understand it.

that's $2.2 million more than it costed to make the "movie" :wall: The $2.2M may be more than the negative cost but you still have to take promotion and distribution into consideration. Plus, the fact that it took less than 20% of its expected first week gross will surely put any studio off producing another one of these terrible films. So... they're still 18 million in the red...... LOL. That's what they get for making such a stupid movie.

All I have to say is.... Isn't it a better idea to vaccinate like 50 people for malaria than to buy 1 laptop? Couldn't that money be used for other higher priority causes?

My dad has done something similar to that. He has removed my login name from my computer (I share a computer with my brother), and he has also just taken the wireless internet connecter (I don't know what it's called, but I'm sure those who do know what I'm talking about know what it is) so that there is no way to get on the internet. The dumb parental controls (It's the CA security center from roadrunner too) used to block youtube channels and some gaming websites like gamespot for no reason whatsoever, that has since changed and it allows me to go on them, but still it blocks many things for w/e the reason. I used to not have parental controls, but ever since we got roadrunner in June they were turned on, and I never do anything on the computer anyways You mean the Wifi thingy, right? That sucks. Get it back soon I hope?

I wouldn't classify them as metalcore, but I guess they could fit that description. Btw... they first song is like 10x more... whats the word..... hardcore? lol. Can't think of the word right now... but the first song is my least favorite of them all.

The cussing makes South Park worse. The thing that keeps me watching is their modern episodes. I remember one episode that they made within like a week of this media scandal being released to the public =D> . But this isn't the thread for this : . ANyways, I never liked American Dad. Not even the first episode :s. You seriously don't think "Shut the [bleep] up Cartman." is funny?

South Park isn't funny because of cussing. It's funny because it's little 9 year olds, and they're cussing. Family Guy is also very very repetetive, but not quit as much as AD.
