How is throwing a rock nasty? If you said you threw it at his face, he swallowed it, and it turned out to be a hibernating flesh eating millipede that ate through his stomach and lodged it's self next to his heart, laid eggs, and then 3 years later in the middle of class his fingertips, and eyes started to get very red, and suddenly burst, letting loose thousands of baby millipedes which crawled down everybody's throats suffocating them, that would be nasty.

I think the point is that this place is [one of] the closest places on earth to becoming a new ocean. Sure it is happening everywhere else, but where else is the crust 20m thick? If we wanted to, we could probably cut out the mountains, and flood the place right now. But yeah, it is too distant in the future for me to care about. If is said this would happen in 200 years, I might care. Heck, if it said 2,000 years I might care. But 20 million years is too distant. For all we know, the human race may have excavated the earth's core by then and contained it in some sort of magnetic field to power some new planet we would have moved on to.

Professional gamer :thumbsup: But seriously, even though that would be awesome, I'm planning on doing something either 1) quantum physics related (always been interested in that sort of thing) or 2) programming related. In the end, the first one would probably include some degree of the second one. Unfortunately I'm absolutely in love with music, and would love to do something music related, but I'm terribly untalented with my hands. I'm horrible a drawing. I have the worst hand writing of anybody who has ever written anything in history. My hands [often] get confused when trying to play guitar (even though I know exactly where to put my hands, the signal must get mixed up on the way from my brain to my hands). I also have incredible ears for music, and have excellent sense of pitch/frequency... but my voice sucks. I hate myself, lol. I'm also very smart when it comes to things math related (physics included) aside from geometry, which is just stupid theorems. I'm horrible at english and anything that has to do with writing. I'm also bad at history because I'm bad with names/dates. So I really don't know. I'm also very forgetful, which really hurts me in school. I try writing things down on datebooks, agendas, the back of my hand but to no avail :( I'm cursed with blessing and blessed with curses :wall: :wall:

Yeah, in Jr. High I left my computer logged in, and some person bypassed the school district blocks and accessed MySpace. I tried explaining this to the angry Russian guy who head of the technical stuff at my school. He said something along the lines of "No! You went around school blocks on computer! I look at history!". After all my reasoning failed, I tried explain how I wouldn't be stupid enough not to erase my history if I went on myspace, but to no avail. And just to top it off, they forgot to unlock my account for nearly the entire year even though it was only a half year suspension.

Before saying we should take all the money from the rich people, we might want to take a look at the past. All throughout history, when the rich people get pissed off, the empire's economy fails, which means the military fails, which means the empire falls apart (yes, the US is an empire). So taking the money from all the rich people will not solve our problems. There have been numerous cases where the government has taken from the rich, and given to the poor. And guess what? The economy crumbles. It doesn't work.

I'm sure if somebody messages him, he has them saved on his computer somewhere. I only ever read 3 of them because I believe I stopped comming here for about a month or something... I forget why... Amazingly well written posts. He should go far in life.

You would know if you used anything different. Anyway, take your iPod headphones, and connect them to anything other than your iPod that has music on it (guitar amps and such don't count) and listen to the same song on both the iPod and the other device. You'll see the difference (and even more so if you use non-apple headphones/earbuds). And yeah, apple ear buds are horrible.

For those of you who don't know, the 3.0 patch is in public beta now. So you can go ahead and try everything out. And apparently blizz is releasing new PvP rewards with the new 3.0 patch when it goes live, and we will then have our honor points wiped when the expansion comes out. People on the PTR are saying blizz made a blue post about this on the forums somewhere (there's an article in wow-insider about it). And patch 3.0 and the WotLK expansion are two separate things.

Don't be embarrassed. I guess people where I live are pretty smart. We discuss this daily in my AP World class, and even the people who I hang out with (the ones who get D's in at-level classes) know what is happening. You'll get owned if you're at the bottom of the level bracket. you need to be in the top 2 or 3 levels to be decent.

What dailies do you do? I'm doing the ones in Quel'Danas. They give on average 10g each. So I have time to do about 10 dailies in under 2 hours and get 100g. Also, I don't have herbalism. I have mining and enchanting.

Anybody have any advice on making money? I got 70 about 3 weeks ago. So far I've gotten epic PvP shoulders and epic PvP chest. I spent almost all of my 1.4k gold, and started doing dailies yesterday. So far I'm up to 200g, but at this rate I'm getting just under 100g per day, playing more that I should. That means it will take 50 days to get enough for my epic flying, which misses LK by a long shot. So any advice would be helpful. (I'm a hunter btw.)

I would recommend weed before I recommended cigarettes. Seriously. Cigarettes have been scientifically proven many many many times to be far more harmful than the effects of marijuana.

The beep it made scared me! :lol: If you do that and then go to audio and press "play 1k tone" you'll die. (not really, but your ears hurt.. badly..) Also... THIS NEW NANO HAS THE SAME EXACT SCREEN SIZE/PIXEL RATIO AS THE LAST GENERATION NANO.

How do they compare to the previous models? The longer screen is a nice bonus, I would think. The screen is the same size as the previous model actually.
