  1. That makes it how much different then it is now....? Anyway, if they were dumb enough to make the game entirely selfsufficient, I'm sure a lot of highscore addicts would still play.
  2. Alright, lets put something right here. Praying is often looked down upon not only because of the amount of 0's. But more often then not when the prayer is finally drained they realise "Oh my god, my protect item prayer, Im going to lose my adamant full helm", and sprint towards the nearest exit available, be it teleporting or running towards the wilderniss ditch. There is a difference between a casual runescape player entering the wilderniss and a Pker. A casual player's mentality is to protect their items, a pkers mentality is to kill their enemy before they can retaliate enough to kill you. If a casual player fights a pker, he will tank and defend until he is out of food or prayer and then leg it. This means the pker has no chance of defeating the tank, but the tank has less time to inflict damage on the pker, having less chance to kill him. If a pker fights a pker, both time their eating, time their special attacks and spells for maximum damage to the other and keeping their health at a lesser importancy. This is more often then not a challenging fight. Because both players have a chance of death and a chance to win. The sign of the wildernis said "Only go in with items you are willing to lose", if you aren't willing to lose your items then why enter? So go out in adamant if that is the only armour you are willing to lose, and focus on you killing the opponent. Ofcourse if you are willing to lose more you will have the edge over the player who does not, so build that up over time. My main advice in PvP, don't be a wuss.
  3. I don't mind, if they give good feedback ( which they should know after playing the game for who knows how long ) and JagEx implents those, why would you look down on it? No, not all high levels are very nice people, but when they arent harrased by a horde of noobs they are often very kind and thoughtfull. Besides, if people were able to join that forum anyway, what would be so special about it? Zit, zero, none. It would be just as special as the former rants forum, a place for the mentally challenged to try and lol eachother out. There is a player moderator forum too, why don't you whine about that too?
  4. Heh, Ill just use my CS3 thanks. The Graphic school I am currently on uses only outdated versions from 2003-4. If I get CS4 they might not be able to keep up, again.
  5. Ok, so basically, you want to throw over the entire human system. Inorder for species to survive? I don't mind if you think I am a sick, sick person. 3 billion people are just as sick as I am in your view, thats the world. You say screw the economy? Good, sure, back to killing ourselves for food, mayor war for resources and loss of a justice system ( What lawyer would do anything for a piece of ham? ). If you want to kill the planet, remove the economy. If I had to choose right here between having to kill the final turtle in the world versus my family starving. I would gladly spitroast that turtle. The needs of the masses outweigh the needs of the few. And yes, a lot of people are dumb. But we can't rewire the entire human race into living peacefully and getting along while helping the pretty birds and flora. As long as humans reproduce the planet will suffer, and I am not going to be sorry for all those thousands of animals and people dying because that would depress me more then anything. Live day by day, and stop being stuck in an idealistic dreamland.
  6. I guess they can keep their trashhole of a minigame if they like it. But add another rule to it, 1, an entry fee of like 100k for the 100+ crater, and 2, make it safe. So that you drop the entry fee on death. And ofcourse without the 3 minute penalty. This would also stop people camping at the exits looking for an easy way out. Maybe add a death penalty that if you die you have to wait 10-15 minutes until you can enter again. And perhaps add a 50k rule instead of 100k for F2Pers. More people going there, without losing gargantuan amounts of money spent on armadyl godswords to a potential rwter. In my eyes they may remove that thorn from my eye forever, but that would make me as bad as them. I do not want people to lose their playstyle because of a removal, instead I am more of a 'nerf-until-satisfactory' person now. Yes, RWT does happen a lot in BH, and yes, a lot of people hate the rules of it. But wasn't it like that in the wilderniss too? People were fed up with the rules of honour and strayed away from it, calling pkers names, yadiyadiya. These fanatic bounty hunters ( even though it is DEFINITLY not my playstyle ) deserve not the same fate of the Wilderniss Pkers. I say we take that bended piece of scrapnell and bend it some more. So the people will still have their playstyle remotely intact. On one view I can see Jagex removing it because of RWT, on another view I can see the designers altering the code so that their coding/modelling time isn't wasted.
  7. Glad to be back[/sarcasm] The idiots have always stayed, granted there were less 'pure' idiots. E-thugging my way to the highest possible postcount. -On topic- I should apoligize, I did not read that people were talking about the 18 spaces of familiar inventory. I apoligize for being a wagon to have some fun. Now to give some real feedback. Summons may only be used in multi zones, so Varrock will be void of them, except for the bunyips and healer familiars. However, Falador will see a huge uprise of familiars used in combat, like said the ravenous locust and geyser titans will reign. However, not everybody, the mayority, cannot afford the summoning level needed for this creature. It will be exclusive, just like the divine shield mention earlier. I myself have used some familiars in duel tournaments, mainly the karamthulhu. Because of its magic attacks and 'drown' special which he unloads some times. Bunyip does not work in pvp, simply because of the hitpoints level, which is a measily 40 hp. Even a lvl 80 with a adamant warhammer can take it down. Storage familiars could well be used a lot if you stuff it full with food and what not, and dismiss it for a longer death match. I'm sure people will have strategies about familiar placement in deathmatches, so you don't have to walk up and down to the food pile. I would love to see what mayhem this will cause on the worlds, I will surely claim the Blue moon Inn's basement.
  8. But you can heal 360hp with those 18 extra sharks. while you constantly hit them they hit you but you have a more constant supply of food while theirs is dwindling down. So you might win because you have more food or you could have 18 more brews. 18 brews is 1224 hp so you would def win that fight if the other person was using shrimps. Which they wont be but you'll still win HA HA, oh dear. Some guy tried pking too :P . Brews are good yes, but if you only have brews for healing you are in much trouble. In the time you heal 15 hp you will have to drink a restore potion too, giving me enough time to lay another 15 on you, causing you to drink the brew and the restore potion again. Unless you have a mayor defence level and armour, you will get whacked hard. I would love to fight you in the pvp worlds, not because of my stats, but because of your tactics :P
  9. Content starving? Did you read what they typed smart person? They intend to make big updates like castle wars and new skills instead of more "Peril of Ice mountain" and "Rat pits". I like having one good update over 4 bad ones, so I am happy. Oh, and yay PVP worlds sooner then I expected =D> . I'm sure to mash in people in varrock and wilderniss alike.
  10. Zaros is the empty lord according to all the deceased humans. Anyway, why would they need zamorak again? All the Mahjarrat are clearly trying to resurrect the fallen god.
  11. Thank you! For anyone who says its easy to transfer, your just as good as the RWT we tried to abolish. We get RWT out and we [bleep] and moan about the rules, and yet the real players CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE AND BREAK THE GOD DAMN RULES! Redundant? I think so. So, heres your solution, the next person who says "I know a way to transfer" I expect a full typed paragraph about how you do it, how effective it is, and a screenshot of a bug report. If you dont, Ill gladly report you and submit a bug report myself. Fine, I will, "I know a way to transfer". Its the hardest[/sarcasm] way out of all of them. You enter Bounty hunter with full dharok ( full saradomin in f2p ) You let yourself get killed by the person who wants the items, then he procceeds to tank his way up to the 3 minute mark with pizza's. Normal people use it for transfering gifts. Or helping people out when they got hacked or whatever. Report me for all I'm worth, continiue to be Jagex' little helper. But it cannot be stopped unless bounty hunter is completely removed from the game altogether. They are on your streets, in your house, all around the world and in the park. They are undetectable and rely on simple but effective ways of transfer. You try and kill the invisible ninja on your own, and good luck. Because R W T cannot be stopped in any game with currency or an economy, FACT. And because of Jagex' cunning plan to make the GE absolutely anonymous, you can't report the goldfarmer anymore during the trading. I laugh in anyones face who is trying to completely anihilate RWT, because it isn't happening.
  12. *hinthint* You are wearing steel armour, no prayer will help you getting ripped to shreds by the scimitars being flung, better use the 15% prayer *hinthint* And yes, I often used 5% prayers in deathmatches in f2p.
  13. Dangerous FFA recreated the old feel of the Edgeville Wilderness.... Many people, including me, really liked that. The ability to get your rune and dharocks back? Yeah, thats like edgeville.
  14. The day people can read my mind. When that day comes, my days as a free man will be numbered. Or I would atleast be rediculed. Heights too. I freak out of I get more then 4 meters above the ground >_< Needles, I HATE needles. I probably have more fears. But I think those are the main ones.
  15. If the ring really works the way it should, by increasing drops when you wear it. Then I presume that it is a test for the Pk worlds. You know with the impressiveness of the kill factor and all that. Anyway, maybe revenants drop good stuff with jennica's ring. But I don't think anyone has been actively hunting them since there hasn't been reports of reasonable drops.
  16. Make the walls have a bit more contrast. It looks kind of out of place now. Its a great pixel and I would love to see this improved. Love the background and fire.
  17. Any kid can fight waterfiends, kill mithrill dragons, or merchant. But not all of them can do it in the most effective way. Thats whats this guide is about.
  18. Nothing wrong with me, except that I take replies serious since if you post something you had time to think about what you wrote. Anyway, I understand now, and yes. I do agree that if you are the lowest level in something ( GWD bosses/Clan wars) then you should train to make sure the team gets the best of it. Leeching of them is just greedy.
  19. I don't deserve respect, shove your omnious shoe up my jeans as I cabbage bomb your house, rickroll everyone and have a great laugh. I need your ever gracious opinion to thrive in this virtual world, for without it I would be nothing like an anonymous person who nobody would care about. Please kind sir, I will work as you desire, raising my skills to 99 and grinding all the time. Fun is for the weak, Only those who can work in a game deserve the respect of a fellow player. Fun only ruins a game. See? I just clicked on this steel bar AGAIN while I put my friends chat on off and close any other window in firefox. I will concentrate on this screen while I do the same things over and over until you have found the love in your heart to forgive me and respect me. This is me having fun with you. I did not get any experience from this, I did not get any advantage over someone. I used my free time to type out this post because I was bored. FUN in a game is NEEDED.
  20. Way to defeat the purpose of getting a partyhat or any 'decorative' item. First you kill all the ways of doing RWT, ruining all pking and losing a great memberbase, then you supply the goods yourself. This would not only make Jagex a massive hypocrite, but effectively make a lot of people angry for no reason at all. Since why would you want a 3 poligon eyeburning purple hat if it is worth nothing more then the tinderbox they sell in the general store. My answer, no.
  21. Remember that there is another week in September, so, it could be released next week still. Remember that they dont have to update it around 1pm, they could do it at 5 pm CET. They do that sometimes.
  22. Well-designed competition is good. Stupidly-designed competition is bad. Why make a monster that is easy to kill and has good drops, but then restrict how often it can be killed by limiting it to one per world? Why create a situation that puts players at each other's throats unnecessarily? It's simply bad design, period. It's either that, or holy elixers flood the market. Don't blame Jagex, blame the players that are at each other's throats. I don't see the problem here, they could make it so you have one of your own for some time, and when they feel like the Elixers have dropped sufficiently, change it to this. I would rather have an overflooding elixer market then a whole team of flaming players.
  23. Just for your information. Armadyl: God of Justice and Law Saradomin: God of wisdom and 'good' Zamorak: God of chaos and 'evil' Zaros: God of destruction, no evil, he just likes to mash everything to bits. Guthix: God of Balance I could continiue this list with demi gods and stuff like that, but that would only make this list waaaaay to long. And I don't really see anything that is all that interresting nor very groundbreaking from his ramblings.
  24. You have to figure in that this is merely a damage REDUCTION. You wouldn't have 200 hp in one inventory spot, you will simply have saved some damage. The prayer deduction also means that you wont be able to use it at area's where prayer is neccesairy, since you will more easily be outa prayer. The shield is good yes, but not as good as the 70% chance of a 25 damage reduction one.
