Wrong forum try rants. You spelled 'don't' wrong :P I would rather take part in a community where everybody is being honest about the posters being stupid then on a forum where everyone is acting stupid. And these typically aren't true 'flame wars' , since we don't throw cuss words at each other, eat a biscuit, and find out that the topic is locked. Its flaming, the politically correct way, Where one weeds out every single error and blazes it to the ground. Much like in soccer, where sliding directed at the player is considered wrong, but if its directed at the ball and the player tumbles and breaks a leg, its legit. It takes a few tries, but after some time you'll get the hang of it.

Someone brought up the point of when you are near death, you wish you would have done something more productive. To which I say, why do you even care? You are about to die! In the end, life doesnt matter about getting the most success, the prettiest girlfriend, the best status or the best character. Its about having fun. If I had a degree in medication, but I felt like I wanted to be a truck driver, then by the god's Ill be a truck driver. If I were to crash in a fatal car accident, and I was stuck under a tree. I wouldnt think: Atleast I had money and girls. No. I would think "Bummer, now Im going to miss that party next saturday". Life is the question which holds no answer, just have fun along the way. If you find nolifing fun, then who are you to follow the mindless mass who will judge you on everything you do anyway. For example, if I would drive from my home two blocks away to order a pizza, and people would comment on it, they would say something along the lines of this: You went out in those clothes? You should be ashamed, pollunting the enviroment for your own sake! Why didnt you order on the telephone? God, if you keep up like this you'll be a fat and bold, and die of heartfailure. You [puncture]! You eat that whole pizza by yourself, take some friends with you too! Instead of doing that you could have done something more useful. Hah, if you had studied more you would have been able to purchase a fish cuisine. Don't drive this slow, you aren't a slug are you? You know that car you have? Its a known brand to use asian children for its production. Don't people say hello any more? To all the whiners whining about the whiners, Don't listen to peoples opinions on your lifestyle. 95% of the time it will be negative and will only get you down. Get a beer, Listen to rock and have fun.

Of course. More worlds means its just that much easier to RWT. More themed BH worlds should be counterproductive for RWT'ers. Themed world = More people. You can only do BH in the BH themed worlds.

Wouldnt get my hopes up on the 3 pvp minigames. I mean, can you really call FoG a decent player versus player minigame? Sure its fun, but you are not fighting against eachother, you are taking turns in fighting and running.

Just a little patience... yeah. Just use a little patience.... We just know too little to make a decent speculation. The only thing we know is that there will be a Runecrafting guild, and that it will have a minigame in it. We don't know the experience rates, if there will be an essence shop or not, if rune prices will go up or down, if the minigame is overpowered or not fun at all. Its like rolling a dice and trying to predict that it will land on 5, except that the dice is infinitly bigger and has about 357 sides. Relax, we'll find out in due time what the effect will be on runecrafting and the economy.

Runecrafting is still a reasonable moneymaker now, better enjoy it. Infact, enjoy all of your skills. One day, with one update, it will be swept away because it cant be profitable/training gets made too easy/you wont earn respect because you are just one of those thousands of people who have that skill cape. If you, the skillers who don't care about pkers, one day will have to deal with the death of runecrafting, all of us will make those annoying signatures who say: 11/ 02 /2009, the day runecrafting died GET OVER IT. We will too treat you like the scum of the earth, just like you did back in the dec 10 updates. Its nothing new that Jagex would make a mistake, but the day that skillers were actually laughing at the pkers, The oh so peaceful and thoughtful skillers who were obviously better then the pkers, is the day that the community became just one step further to the inevitable hell-hole that it is bound to be. Some day, you will all cuss your way towards the top, fighting for that tree or that ore. Throwing foul words at each other because he took your monster spot, or your arrows, Messaging them on a chat program because they are junk trading. And you will ignore the fact that you are contributing to an ever worsening community. *gets thrown in a truck* You will all pay! REMORSE! *gets taken away*

When you could choose between the main Runescape, but instead you scrolled down to the runescape classic button in the rightbottom corner, because all your friends played there. When coins looked like cereal, and when the dark wizards were packed. And when a bearded dark wizard attacked you, you were just waiting impending doom. When you first discovered @ran@ pretty colours! and you went around showing everyone your flashy text.

I quit over some trivial updates like.. the flour in the generalstore icon removal, the way you pick cabbage, the way you could hunt one massive area and look for some noobs to obliterate and give them a one way ticket to lumbridge. The way I could give my friend a dragon scimitar without being drowned by the warning signs that he might be an untrustworthy person. The way I used to stake my money and hope for the best. The way that one hit knock out weapons werent the norm and the way that there was a system in which I could choose to do a deathmatch without being drowned by a truckload of pilejumpers the second I won.

Take a break, come back in a few month. Lots of new to explore, maybe a new skill, who knows. If you have to search a game desperate for some fun, its becoming work. Just take a break, do some shooters, other MMO's, play baseball or w/e.

Tee hee, one more way of defeating the sara boss down the drain :P Bound to come new ways though.

Where did 5$ a week come from. :P There is also the fact that if you buy a game for 60$. The game will be the same, but in runescape, there would be updates every month. And unlike GTA 4, its a roll of the dice if you will like that update :P . For all you know the game can become worse with every update, or cease to be fun in one catastrophic update. But in general, yes, a single player game will tend to get more boring then an ever-changing MMORPG.

Thats pretty much what I mean. Now you can see the shading, but only if you look at it closely. The ground just looks like one green/blue/brown blob from a bit further away. The transitions are great, the sky develops nicely into another shade. But you can't always shade things that softly. If there isn't light there, it aint going to be lit. It will be dark, not something a bit darker but still pretty much the same colour. With adding deeper shadows, comes bringing brighter highlights. I can clearly see that that fire is close to him, but the only light that seems to emit from that fire is seen on the hand. The body or armour doesn't show any ambient lightning from the fire. If you start experimenting with this you will notice that shapes are more easily recognizable. A square for example will start to show more depth. Here, took your work, and added some contrast to the piece, no worries. Im not going to use it, just to make the difference show better. Oh and the beard and the mustache... Well I couldn't resist. Yours v Mine© v You show some good potential.

If you die you lose your items, the other team doesn't win them. All your items are just thrown into the ocean or something. Anyway it seems like the clan wars update will be in September, looking forward to that one.

The background and the colours, WOW. Needs more contrast on the character though, and on the ground ect.

I dont mind any outfit, as long as I dont look like an utter noob :lol: . bronze med, black chainbody and ham skirt anyone? Don't forget the black heraldic kite and the dragon kite.

People already thought this would happen with normal item lending, it doesnt generally devalue the item by that much if it has a use. Moreso, people will try to work for that item, since they could try the item. This sort of levels each other out. But hey, you can't stop RWT. Now rich kids will pay to try the item, and pay to transfer it in BH.

sorry but anyone who does basic training does it because a:all there stupid friends want to look call b: they are stupid themselves and want to kill people c: they want to make money but dont realise how likely it is to die and the extra 5k a year isnt worth it/they dont want to work in macdonalds for the same money d: they want to fight for their country which is so honourable that iraq desevers to be invaded for having some riches that arnt gonna crash after the economy crashes e: they are racist bastards who think iran attacked them first and dotn realise that they are fighting for oil not the saving of a country f: they are smart skip basic training go straight to uni then take a job as a high ranking office job type person who will never see combat and earn 10 times what the idiots killing themselves earn :-# Which obviously instantly makes him inhuman and have no right for a going away party. And money doesn't make happy, I can become a REALLY rich accountant, but thats boring as hell. If he wants to go in the marines, then who are you to stop and bash him?

I could say that because I have played Runescape for more then 3 years that this is the best game ever, how it has the most variety, and the most intreging quests. But then I would be lying. Frankly, most of the Runescape players are as biased about WoW and all the other MMO's, then all the MMO gamers are against Runescape. You cannot say that Runescape has the most variety if you havent played every single one. You can't say Runescape has the best community just because you played it longer then any other game. You cannot say that this is the game that you like best because you haven't played every one of them. People will always be biased about eachother, 3rd world people will hate America, Natives will dislike foreigners, Nerds dislike Bully's, People like you will hate the ranters ranting about a guy using 'frankly' too much. So stop complaining about why the sky is blue and deal with it.

Perhaps, in an attempt to make sure that people will still hunt for dragon chainbody's, They will make the dragon plate body devided into multiple parts, simular to a godsword or a dragon square shield. Like one part being dropped by the Kalphite queen, one part being dropped by Adamant dragons, one part being dropped by the Dagganoth Kings.

Whenever fuel runs out, or it gets hyjacked by one of those Jagged terrorists and come crashing down. Fuel equals demand, hyjacking stands for nerfing.

I really like the anatomy of the hand and arm, but the rest of the piece looks like it isnt. Another thing is that the party hat sits right on top of the tilted head, this makes it look like the characters face is deformed or has otherwize massive features. I suggest tilting the phat forward too. It is a marvel, but some things, like the lack of contrast and some minor errors distract the eye from the piece. Good luck, I'll be waiting to see an update on it
