  1. If you don't pick up, it will take you about 43700 bronze arrows. If you do pick up, it will take you about 10925 bronze arrows. If you don't pick up, it will take you about 43040 iron arrows. If you do pick up, it will take you about 10760 iron arrows. You can look here for training ideas. Hope this helps
  2. IIRC, the Duke will only mention the shield if you have none in your bank and if you are not carrying/equipped with any. So, drop any that you have, talk to the duke, and then pick them up.
  3. Well, fight Hi level monsters for loot but fight low level monsters for fast exp. So, it depends on what you want. Fast leveling can be done by non-stop killing for hours at a time. That means you want plenty of monsters (fast respawn or crowded) and you want to receive very little damage yourself. That way you don't waste time on bank runs for more food. The fleshcrawlers in SoS are good. But any spot with a lot of lower level monsters will work. The idea is to turn yourself into a non-stop killing machine. Hope this helps
  4. SoS You can also look here for ideas. You can reach about 31 without picking up, or about 41 if you do. Hope this helps
  5. You can also look here for training ideas... Hope this helps
  6. At the end of the Edgeville dungeon and in the wilderness. Yes, they are usually very crowded though. Look here for info on Hill Giants... Hope this helps
  7. About 17200 Iron arrows if you don't pick them up or about 4300 if you do pick them up. You could try the minotaurs in the SoS. They drop a lot of arrows and spawn very quickly. You could also try the 2 lessers on the top of Crandor island. There are safe spots on the North and SE sides. If you pull them over to your safe spot with a Curse spell first, then you don't even need to bother bringing any food with you. The nearby Moss giants are also good. Safe spots are along the North wall and NW side. Hope this helps
  8. Yeah thats the best way or you can buy off otehr players. That's true only if the price is less than 200 gp since that's the price charged by the Champions Guild store...
  9. The Champion's Guild has coifs and some other unique items for sale. Go out the west gate of Varrock and then head south. There are 2 stores on the 2nd floor of the guild. Hope this helps

About 46.5 About 63.7 Hope this helps
  11. Your stats look like you are F2P. So try lesser demons or moss giants. Otherwise, look here for training spots. About 38900 if you don't pick up, about 9724 if you do. Hope this helps

You will need about 3600 iron arrows if you don't pick them up but only about 900 if you do pick them up. That can get you to 46 if you don't pick them up or almost 53 if you do pick them up. IMHO, the best place to shoot is a place where you can pick them up. You could try the lessers on the top of Crandor Island or under the Karamja volcano. The Crandor Island Moss giants are good as well. You could try the scorpions in the Al-Kharid mine. Shoot from the rim above them. Hope this helps
  13. I got to F2P ranging level 80 by using Bronze arrows against the 2 Lessers on the top of Crandor Island. The max hit for Bronze is about (Range+14)/9 For Iron it is about (Range+15)/9 Hope this helps

Lots of places will work well. I suggest a safe multi-combat area so that you will (almost) always have a target. You could try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water into the 4 zombie ladder room. Or, try the screen/torture room on the second floor of the white knight castle. Or, try the Port Sarim jail. Or, try the caged lesser demon at the top of the wizzy tower. Just make sure that you have a magic attack stat of -65 or worse to be able to always fail your Curse. You can get that by wearing full helm, chest plate, legs, SoS boots, kite shield. If you want to use a staff then you must also wear green dragonhide vambraces. Do not wear a magic amulet. Hope this helps
  15. Fastest way to 60 is to powermine iron. The 3 Al-Kharid rocks are good for that. Look here. West Lumbridge swamp mine is good. Or, Dwarf mines or wildy Hobgoblin mine. Hope this helps
  16. No Bronze has exactly the same (-) magic attack stat that Rune does.
  17. Well, you are almost there... Just add SoS boots and green dragonhide vambraces. That will get you to -68 Ahh!, OK then no dragonhide and no staff. There cancel each other out. The other gear, with SoS boots, will get you to -68 Hope this helps
  18. Sure, just wear full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots, dragonhide vambraces, and a water or earth staff. Any metal will work. Bronze works as well as rune. Do not wear a magic amulet. You can reach about -68 with the above items. Hope this helps
  19. thanks i guess i will just pick my arrows up and kill lessers Do you know how to do it safely without ever getting hit from one of the lesser demons?
  20. I usually use the 2 lessers on the top of Crandor Island. They drop decent loot and are usually available. Ouch! You can use each arrow about 4 times before it's gone. If you do it right, it's very easy to safely pick up your arrows. It would take you about 19000 iron arrows, without picking them up, to each level 70 or, only about 4750 if you did pick them up. Hope this helps
  21. You could mine 18 iron ore, 9 coal ore in the Al-Kharid scorp mine. Then, as you walk to the Al-Kahrid bank, stop at the furnace and smelt it into 9 bars. Bank it and then repeat. 60 trips can earn you, eventually, about 300k gp. Or, just mine iron in the west lumby swamp or coal in the mining guild. Hope this help
  22. Switch to a crowded world to reduce the ore respawn time. Or, use the Al-Kharid scorp mine. There are 3 rocks on the north-west wall. You can 1 hit mine each one, drop all 3 ore, spin and start again. I got to 85 (in F2P) doing that. Hope this helps
  23. IIRC, Guild wars is free to play but only after you pay $20-$40 for the game. Each expansion is another $20-$40 Everquest is about $14 per month as well as $20-$40 for each new expansion. Everquest does have a totally free, single zone version of the game though. IMHO, one of the very best thngs about RS is that members get free (mostly) weekly updates of the game. Wow, EQ, and GW all charge their members for updates. Hope this helps
  24. Well, really, only you can decide why you want to play. Generally speaking, the 4 big reasons to play (given by MMORPGers) are: 1) Socializing. Chatting, teaming, PC, etc 2) PKing, beating other players 3) Getting (a) high skill-total/level/money/wealth 4) Exploring a huge virtual world. So, what do you think of the above activities? Boring? Exciting? Don't know? We can tell you why we play (I'm #3 and #4), but only you can decide what you enjoy and hence, decide on a reason to play. Hope this (somehow) helps
