Best Way to raise Magic from 49 to 75? CLOSE PLEASE
No, it's not necessary. But some players find tens of thousands of clicks to be tedious. I figure that I did about 64000 clicks using Curse and CU to get level 81 magic in F2P. Hope this helps

fastest wc-exp at level 64?
Keep in mind that this sort of question you can kinda answer yourself with a little timed experiment. Note your WC exp and then time how long it takes to cut and bank a full load of logs from each kind of tree. Note your ending exp. Then compute an average exp per minute as (Finalexp-Startexp)/time 'Course, don't include banking time for willows until you really plan to keep them. Players that respond to these kinds of posts don't always agree on the same answer... :? Hope this helps

fastest wc-exp at level 64?
per log cut, they are better than willow (but less than magic) but it takes longer per log than willows. That, and the time it takes to walk to the bank with all of those nice logs makes it slower, overall, than willows. Willow logs you could just drop on the ground. Hope this helps

Best Way to raise Magic from 49 to 75? CLOSE PLEASE
An alternative to your (below) idea is to raise HP with ranging and then magic with Curse. Very cheap that way if you pick up your arrows. In case you care, in your case your combat level is determined primarily by your Melee stats so your combat level will go up by 1 with every 4 HP level increases. IIRC, the slayer staff and the VK mace can both auto-cast Crumble undead. The key room in the Varrock sewers is a nice place for crumble undead since it's multi-combat with 4 zombies available across the water in the ladder room. Hope this helps

Crafting: from 45-63
But it's harder to raise crafting in the F2P worlds than in the P2P worlds. AFAIK, everything is "better" in P2P than in F2P, so maybe you should get members sooner rather than later. Hope this helps

Crafting: from 45-63
I'm curious. Why 63 in F2P? Green dragonhide stuff is members only. Well, you earn: 52.5 for silver tiaras. Mine in the guild, bank in Fally, smelt/craft in al-kharid. (5850 needed) 35 for hard leather. Kill cows in CG pen, use CG tanner on second floor, craft in guild and then drop them. (8774 needed) 33 for clay bowls. Mine clay in CG, soften in CG, spin and fire in CG, drop. Very little walking required. (9306 needed) Crafting in F2P is slow and doesn't really pay well until you can make power amulets. (I have level 75 F2P crafting, btw) I would try the CG cow or clay stuff. Exp is "good" and you don't waste a lot of time walking around. Hope this helps

mining addi/smelting addi after 78 smithing and 81 mining
All they did was make it closer to the bank? lol... unless u like walking farther? Wrong, the new copper and tin mine is closer the the bank, the mith addy coal mine is closer to the wizards tower. And thus, closer to the Draynor bank instead of the Lumby bank. IIRC, the closest bank to the "old Lumby swamp mine" was always the Draynor bank. When Jagex added the shortcut from Lumbridge and added the lumby bank they also split the lumby mine into the low level SE mine and the higher level SW mine. So, the better Addy and coal rocks are now closer to the Draynor bank than ever before. So, IMHO, lumby mining is better, overall, due to the changes. For Addy I usually use the 3 rocks just outside the mining guild and then world hop. Don't forget to use the walk away and come back trick to speed things up. Hope this helps

Best Way to raise Magic from 49 to 75? CLOSE PLEASE
That depends on what you mean when you say "best" Do you mean fastest, or cheapest, of uses fewest other things, or using bought runes, or, etc ... Good exp but you need a pile of Natures (expensive) and something worth alching. Good exp. Camelot tele is popular. But you need a pile of laws. (expensive) OK exp. Not super expensive. Works best with an auto-casting staff. Casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers works well. Good exp but those Chaos runes are better used with Crumble Undead until you can get the gauntlets. You could also try failed Curses. It's super cheap. 29 exp per cast compared with (average) 34 for Fire bolt and 39 for Crumble Undead. Hope this helps

fastest wc-exp at level 64?
Probably Willows. You can drop the willow logs and the ground and not feel bad. But, the Yews you would want to bank, that will slow you down. Plus, there are a lot more willows available to cut. Try the area south of Rimmington. Hope this helps

Leveling Low-level Magic Advice- Help Recieved! Please close
It's too bad that you have Minds instead of Body runes. The Mind runes will earn you about 180000 magic exp but the same number of Body runes would earn you 290000. So the Minds will take you to level 58 but the Body would take you to level 62 The cost is about the same. There are lots of places that will work. Well, one of my favorite places is to cast from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water into the 4 zombie ladder room. It's perfectly safe there. No monsters can reach you and it's a multi-combat spot so you will (almost) always have a target. You can also try the Port Sarim jail, the monsters can't ever reach you. Or try the caged lesser at the top of the wizzy tower. Or the white knights in the screen room on the 2nd floor of their Fally castle. Or the caged red monk under the Varrock palace stairs. Or the scorpions in the Al-Kharid desert mine. Cast from the rim above. Or the monks west of edgeville. If they hurt you just ask the next one to heal you!, lol Or city guards. Cast from just outside their walk area. Hope this helps

How much for 99 Range?
If you pick up an average of 75% of what you shoot, then it would take about 137410 Bronze, or 136180 Iron, or 122010 Steel, or 115250 Mith, or 103800 Addy, or 86860 Rune arrows for you to reach 99. Hope this helps

Best way to level up on ranging for newcomers
Eventually, you will want to move on to the SoS and range minotaurs. They drop a lot of arrows, so you will have a good supply there. Also, casting a Curse spell on the monster first before you start to shoot it allows all of the recoverable arrows to be in the loot pile. It makes picking up your arrows very easy. That way, you can reuse each arrow about 4 times. Hope this helps

Bolt spells can be auto-cast but Curse can't be. Plus, Curse doesn't give any HP exp. But it does give cheap magic exp. Well, the standard way to do Curse is to use only failed Cursing and just keep re-cursing the same monster. Remember, the idea is to level magic cheaply. So you really don't need to kill the monster. I assume that you know that Cosmic and Nature runes also spawn in the wildy. Yeah, I'll never understand why Jagex thought that wildy PKing would be appealing to all Runescape players... :? Hope this helps

Well, it sounds like you already know the basic methods. You could try the dark wizzies south of Varrock (wear ranger gear, not metal armor) or the blue wizzies in their tower. But, why do you want Chaos runes? They do hit harder than mind rune based spells and you can do Crumble undead with them. But, as you found out, they are hard to come by in F2P. If "fast" or "cheap" magic exp is what you want then consider this: Best Mind rune spell, Firestrike averages 18 exp per cast Best Body rune spell, Curse, always gives 29 exp per cast Chaos based Fire bolt averages 34 exp per cast Chaos based Crumble Undead averages 39 exp per cast So, in F2P, the most cost effective spell to use is a failed Curse. Plus, F2P players can make all of the runes needed for Curse but not for Chaos. Hope this helps

f2p smithing help
A few things to think about: Smelting F2P gold gives 22.5 smithing exp per ore used. Smelting F2P Iron averages 18.75 smithing exp per ore used Smelting steel gives 18.33 smithing exp per ore used. Smithing steel is popular because the ores are easily available and you can get some money back out of what you make. Even though Iron averages more exp per ore used, and is slightly faster, you get less money out of it. Smithing a certain metal gives the same exp per bar used. So the only reason to make different items is to get more money by making the higher level items. Most players like to make steel plate because it uses 5 bars at a time (fast) and gives the most hi-alch money (1200) Higher level metals (Mith, Addy, Rune) are good for making money but not for fast exp. Raising smithing takes a lot of money or time. It's not gonna be fast in F2P. If you want to have a skill that can earn you money then raise mining or perhaps woodcutting. (Btw, I have level 77 smithing, 80 woodcutting, and level 85 mining in F2P) Hope this helps

How long do Arrows last? [answered]
26k Dust Devils at 105 HP each (according to the Tip It bestiary) will earn you 10.92 million exp. So, if you started at 1,700,291 range exp you would end at 12,620,291 exp. That's about level 98.674 Why not just go for level 99? It would take about 111800 steel arrows to reach 99 if you pick them up. (or about 447200 if you don't) Hope this helps

Best place to train range?
I don't know about knives but it would take you about 4850 iron arrows if you picked them up or about 19400 if you did not. Hope this helps

Umm
Something to consider: Your combat level depends (partly) on the largest quantity from (Attack + Strength)*2, Range*3, or Magic*3 So you could raise Range (and not HP with a cannon) up to a certain point and not increase your overall combat level. (Although there are some issues with using a cannon) Likewise, you could raise Magic (and not HP by using non-combat spells like Curse, Hi-alch, Tele, enchant, etc) up to a certain point and not increase your overall combat level. If you raised Range and Magic in the right way, you would not increase your overall combat level. So you could be a lethal Warrior/Ranger/Mage combo hybrid. You can have the advantages of all three... Hope this helps

salmon trout ratio
I have level 80 fishing and I get about your numbers. So, in a full inventory; 11 salmon and 15 trout plus or minus about 5 of each. Hope this helps

Ranging help
If you pick up your arrows then you can reach level 73. If you don't pick them up, only level 62 (I'm F2P so I don't know anything about knives, sorry) Hope this helps

easy and cheapest way to 60 mage
IIRC, you can cast a Curse spell for about 45 gp each. You can look here to find rune buyers and sellers. Also, the Varrock and Port Sarim magic stores typically have thousands of these runes in stock. World hop to keep the price down. Or, just make the runes yourself. Also, use an Earth staff to lower costs. Hope this helps
