whats the best way 2 lvl in combat?
Option 7, level 2 in the SoS You earn normal melee exp as HitDone*4 The level of the monster really doesn't matter. So, as long as you are killing constantly then you are doing well earning exp. If you can find monsters that have a "weak" defense to your attack then you can kill them quickly and efficiently. "Every" hit will "count" and you can slaughter nonstop for hours at a time. If you can find monsters that have a "weak" attack to your defense then you won't need to stop to heal or make bank runs. You won't need much, if any, food at all. You won't waste time with restocking for more food. If you can find a "small" room full of fast respawning, auto-attacking monsters then you barely have to move at all to keep the exp rolling in. Try the flesh crawlers in the SoS. You could also try minotaurs or other monsters but the key idea to remember is that it is the Hit that you do that earns you exp. So you really want to be hitting constantly for good exp. Since I'm a poor F2P player I really can't say much about the other choices. But if you wanted big/dragon bones, or hides, or loot, or slayer exp, or etc then another choice would work better for you. Hope this helps

200M Experience In A Skill - The New 99?
What I would like to know is what determines your position in the hi score list if you and another player both "have" 200 million exp. IIRC, I have seen the players with 200 million in cooking exp move up and down the list over time. That suggests that the displayed exp is capped at 200 million but players can continue to earn exp past that amount. If 2^31-1 is the largest number RS can handle then the true cap is about 2.14 billion exp. Also, the list for 200 millioners includes: 4 players with double 200 19 players with a single 200 million 9 skills with at least one player at 200 million

Best place to train?
In F2P, it's in the SoS. Dunno about P2P though. Maybe rock crabs or experiments. Hope this helps.

Where should I train range? [Question answered] plz lock
Well, you can always look at Tip Its range training guide to find spots. You can choose 100% safe spots like: caged lesser demon, caged red zammy monk in Varrock, Port Sarim jail, white knights, monks, hobgoblins, scorpions, cows, etc. The trouble is that many of these 100% monsters don't let you pick up your arrows. If you pick up your arrows then you can get about 4x use out of them. That can help your training a lot. For example, 5k iron arrows can take you to 49 if you don't pick up, or 61 if you do pick up. Also, to make picking up your arrows safe and easy, cast a Curse (or weaken or confuse) spell on the monster first to "pull" it over to your safe spot. That way, all of the recoverable arrows will be in the monster loot pile. Finally, the minotaurs in the SoS drop a lot of arrows. So, you might want to spend some time down there to save some money. Hope this helps

Combat f2p
Try monsters on the first floor of the SoS. We all want that! Jagex's attitude is "more risk taken leads to more rewards given" In F2P Moss Giants, Ice Giants, Lesser Demons, and Greater Demons have the best drops. There are also some of the highest level monsters in F2P. Well, that's how Grindscape, oops, I mean Runescape is at times. You earn melee and range exp according to Exp = HitDone*4 So as long as you are constantly hitting the monster, then you are doing OK earning exp. That means that for fast exp you want to be killing lower level monster without stopping. The SoS has lots of lower level monsters available for that. Generally speaking, In Runescape lower level items are for beginning players, mid level items are for fastest leveling, and high level items are for loot and cash. That guideline works for melee, range, magic, fishing, woodcutting, and mining. Other skills are similar but also can depend on cash available. Hope this helps

Fastest range exp f2p?
That will get you to about level 56 if you don't pick up your arrows or to almost level 67 if you do pick them up. So you have to find a good safe spot to use. Well you can certainly use any of the 100% safe monsters but then you won't get your arrows back. Safe monsters include the caged lesser in the wizzy tower, caged red monk, Port Sarim jail prisoners, zombies in the Varrock sewer ladder room, White knights, monks, and CG hobgoblins. I suggest that you try lesser demons under the Karamja volcano. You can shoot from safe spots there. Cast a Curse on the monster first to pull it over to your safe spot and then begin to range it. That way, all of your recoverable arrows will be in the loot pile when it dies. It makes arrow recovery much safer for a pure. Plus you can get good loot. You could also try Moss giants at the end of the Varrock sewers. Trouble is, many of the really good monsters are overhunted. My favorite monsters are the 2 lesser demons on the top of crandor island. But, you probably can't go there yet. There are 3 Moss giants there as well. For all of these high exp monsters the key is to find a safe spot and then pull the monster over to you with a curse. Hope this helps

A granite mining tip to all you miners or soon-to-be miners!
Yeah, the Jagex Knowledge base for Runescape is full of useful stuff like that...

Cost of 99 range?
If you pick up your arrows then it would take you about: 143500 Bronze, or 142300 Iron, or 127400 Steel arrows. to go from 64 to 99. Hope this helps

Mining Runite
Of course, you know that with a Dwarven Stout from Fally you can mine it at level 84... IMHO, Addy ore takes longer to get than Runite. Well, only players about level 45 or so and lower could attack you. So, you might get lucky and get the ore before the PKers could log on their low level miner killers. It depends on the number of players logged in on the server. In seconds, it's Time = 1386 - Players/3 So, on a server with 1500 players, it would take about 14 minutes and 46 seconds. Maybe. You would have to world hop a lot to find rocks ready to mine that don't have PKers waiting for you. As a F2P player, I found it very frustrating to mine Runite ore. Members have a few more rocks to use. You might find that Addy, Mith, and Coal are an easier way to make steady money. Hope this helps

fastest way up levels
Fight in Atk and Def style in the SoS, first and/or second levels. You earn exp according to the hit that you do and not according to the level of the monster. So, hitting a 3 on a goblin will earn you 3*4 = 12 exp and hitting a 3 on a lesser demon will earn you the exact same 12 exp. So you may as well make training easy and safe on yourself by fighting easily hit monsters that can't hurt you much and are always available. You will also need a lot less food. The first and second levels of the SoS have "small" rooms crowded with fast respawning lower level monsters. So if you hunt there you can be slaughtering monster for hours at a time and not stop for bank or food runs. Higher level monsters like Ankou, Lesser Demons, Ice Giants, and Moss Giants are useful for good loot drops. But they take longer to kill and require you to use more healing food. So for fast training use lower level monsters. For good loot use higher level monsters. Well, 1k Big Bones will cost around 300k and earn you 15k prayer exp. That will change you prayer from level 51 to level 52. That, in turn, will raise your overall combat level by 1/8 So, if you want to raise your overall combat level, prayer is the slowest way to do it. It would take you about 386000 Big Bones (in F2P) to raise your combat from 95 to 100 by raising Prayer with Big Bones. That would cost around 116 million gp. Prayer in F2P is very hard to raise. Members have far more, better, options available. Even someone with combat level 126 only got about 12 of those levels from prayer, 25 from Def, 25 from HP, 32 from Atk, and 32 from Str. So with your levels you can raise your combat level the quickest by training Defense and Attack. Since Def is lowest it will raise the fastest with training but each Def level only raises overall combat by 0.25 Atk at 78 will raise slowly but it does contribute more (0.325 per level) then Def to your overall level. Since your Str is already high, it will raise even slower the Atk but it contributes the same amount as Atk. (0.325 per level) You can play around with Tip It's combat level calculator to get training ideas. Hope this helps

Looking for a good cursing spot.
Well, that's a good place to curse, but it's not the best because it's not in a multi-combat zone. In a multi combat zone more than one person can attack the monster so lots of people can curse away on the same monster(s). The curse quickly off the red zammy monk doesn't matter at all if the player wears the right gear. Full Bronze works as well as full Rune. Hope this helps

Looking for a good cursing spot.
Everything you said except kite shield, I have anti-fire shield instead. I'm guessing the kite will give me the extra -5 because I only have -60. Actually, you will get an extra -8 as you can see in these pictures by DroolMAN Hope this helps

Least used place to cut willows?
There are about 20+ willow trees south or Rimmington and then south-east along the coast towards the church. They are usually not busy since there is no bank nearby. I used to cut and burn there. Or, you could just sell them to the Rimmington general store instead. Hope this helps

60 - 70 ranged iron or steel arrows?
Well, the max hit for Iron is about Iron = (Range + 15)/9 and for steel it's Steel = (Range + 14)/8 So for Range=60-70 that's about 8-9 for Iron and 9-10 for Steel So, with the accumulator or picking them up, it should take you about 6920 Bronze arrows or about 6830 Iron arrows or about 6110 Steel arrows. So, IMHO, the extra cost of steel arrows is not really gonna give you much benefit. You could also try Minotaurs in the SoS. They drop a lot of arrows so you don't need to buy as many since you can make kills using arrows from previous drops. Hope this helps

Looking for a good cursing spot.
If you do it right then almost any place will work Ok, check you magic attack stat. If it is -65 or worse then you will always "splash" Are you wearing: full helm, chest plate, legs, Sos boots, kite shield, green vambraces, and a staff? Well, if you do it right then you can just keep on using the same one. First get your magic attack stat to -65 or worse. Then, try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water at the 4 zombies. It's multi combat so you will almost always have a target and it's 100% safe. You can also try the caged red monk under the Varrock palace stairs, caged lesser in the wizzy tower, jail prisoners in Port Sarim, scorps from the rim of the Al-Kharid mine. There are lots and lots of places that will work. The main thing to remember is that if your magic attack stat is -65 or worse, then you can keep on using the same monster over and over and over again. Hope this helps

Can rs be played on dial up?
I run RS fine with dial up. When I connect is tells me my connection rate is 53333 bps. I suspect that you are time sharing your modem with: Windows auto updater, Norton/Symantec anti-virus updater, spyware cookies, quicktime updater, mpeg updater, etc. Check the auto update features for the above and see if you can change the default config. Even then, it's probably spyware cookies that are clogging your connection. I always run Spyhunter after connecting to clear out that garbage but there are lots of better or free programs that you can use that work just as well or even better. My ISP is the $10 per month Netscape connect. I have several ISP numbers that I can use and I have my default set to the (normally) slighter fastest one. But RS does run fine on dialup. Hope this helps

~How Do I Get From 82 To 90 CB Either F2P or P2P?~
Well, you can play around with the Tip It combat level calculator to find out some of the ways you can be combat level 90. You earn experience according to HitDone*4 and not according to the level of the monster that you kill. So, you can get high exp per hour by constantly hitting lower level monsters. Lower level monsters won't be able to hurt you much and you won't need much food. A place with a lot of fast respawning lower level monsters is the first or second levels of the SoS. Try the minotaurs and/or fleshcrawlers. You can be constantly slaughtering for hours at a time down there. Hope this helps

Range from 64 to 70
To reach 70 it would take you about 4800 Iron arrows if you picked them up, or about 19200 if you did not pick them up. 15k Iron arrows will get you to almost 68 without picking them up. The minotaurs in the SoS are good targets because they drop a lot of arrows. Also, if you cast a Curse on the monster first then you can "pull" the monster over to your safe spot before you start to shoot it. That way, all of the recoverable arrows will be in the monster loot pile when it dies. It makes picking up arrows super easy and safe. Hope this helps

Does prayer mess up combat skills?
Every prayer level raises your overall combat level by 1/8. So if you raise prayer enough levels you will increase your combat level by 1. So if you were a pure PKer, you probably would not want that. But since you are not a PKer, then your combat level is not a concern and the extra prayer level just provides extra capability in fighting. Hope this helps

best fish 4 lvling?
Yes, power fishing Trout/Salmon at Barbarian village is fast. Higher level fish are usually slower to catch than lower level fish. So, even though you get more exp per fish caught, it takes longer to catch them so, overall, your exp per hour is usually less. Hope this helps

WhIcH MeThOd Do YoU GuYs ThInK I ShOuLd UsE?!!?
Fish, cook, and then drop. You earn more exp for cooking the fish (average 80) than for catching it (average 60), so you will reach 99 cooking first. After that, just fish and drop. Hope this helps

Combat training help
You could have fast training using the first or second levels of the SoS. You earn exp as Hitdone*4 and not according to the level of the monster. So, you may as well train on commonly available lower level monsters to make kills go faster and require little food. The SoS has rooms filled with fast respawning lower level monsters that are ideal. You could try the minotaurs and/or fleshcrawlers. Hope this helps
