70 Ranged
About 6830 Iron arrows. If you do minotaurs instead then you don't need to buy or bring as many arrows since they drop them often. Hope this helps

Training Mage, Using Curse?
Well you did get a number of very good answers but the whole concept is really very simple. Wear any full metal armor set and go and Curse from any safe spot. That's really all that there is to it. The armor can be full helm, plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots, green vambraces, and a staff. That will get your magic attack stat to -68. That's more than enough to always fail when casting and, hence, allow you to recast on the same monster. There are plenty of places and monsters that you can use equally well. Since you will always fail, you can use almost any monster. I prefer to use 100% safe monsters in a multi-combat area. You could try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water into the 4 zombie ladder room. Any caged monster will also work well. Failed cursing is a very cost effective, but boring way to raise magic. Other spells are faster but also more costly. Hope this helps

F2p Ranging
There are lots of good places listed above. The main idea is to use a safe spot. The minotaurs are nice because you can get a lot of arrows as drops. Otherwise, look here. You will require about 875 Bronze arrows if you pick them up. Hope this helps

Limpwurts And Red Spider Eggs+ Ice Caves
I assume that you are a free player, so for free players: Hillgiants, Hobgoblins They are a ground spawn. No killing required. Hobgoblins are west of the crafting guild, non-ice part of the blurite cave, and in the Edgeville dungeon. Red spider eggs spawn under the Karamja volcano, at the end of the Varrock sewers, and here. No Hope this helps

A few mining questions..
You only need 3 inventory spots for power mining the 3 Al kharid rocks. So the rest can hold Mith or Addy ore. You can actually see the 2 Addy rocks while mining the 3 iron rocks. For the mith rocks you would have to time them to get the ore. That's right. Most of the time, when I visit the F2P runite ore rocks, they have already been mined and are empty. There are over 20500 players that, (with a Dwarven stout), can mine runite ore. The respawn time ranges from 12 to 23 minutes (depending on server population). So, with that much competition and that long a respawn time, mining runite ore can be very frustrating. Finally, if you do manage to get the ore, you've got to watch out for the Pkers that would like to help you carry all of that heavy ore. Hope this helps

Computer Question and Runescape Question
IIRC, at the bottom of the Detail select screen you can select the version of Java to use. Try the unsigned version. Normally, a window pops up thats asks if you want to trust the content from Jagex. Sounds like you aren't even getting that. Try switching Java versions. Can you play the game normally? Otherwise it could be a fire wall problem or blocked ports. Hope this helps

A few mining questions..
How about this: powermine iron using the 3 al kharid rocks. Whenever the nearby mith rocks are up, go and grab that ore and then return to powermining iron. When you have a full inventory of mith, then go bank it all. When you reach level 70 mining, then switch to grabbing the nearby Addy ore. Mith ore sells for, maybe, 500 gp and Addy ore for about 1000 gp. Generally speaking, most players mine for fast exp or money but not both. I suggest power mining iron (don't bank it) and then, when you reach 70, mining Addy and Mith to make money. There are usually far fewer people after those rocks then iron. You can world hop to find available rocks. Yeah, that's another way to make money. At least you don't have the same competition for the rock. I got to 85 using the 3 Al kharid rocks. Unfortunately, the 2 F2P runite rocks are empty most times. Hope this helps

693 Crafting in 5min30sec
What is faster then?? My Crafting is only 41 and I am non-member For F2P your options are: Silver Tiaras at 52.5 each Hard leather at 35 each Clay bowl at 33 each You can time yourself doing each task for 15 minutes and then use the best. Tiaras require a large supply of silver, a furnace, and walking between the furnace and bank. This can give good exp if you have the cash to buy the silver. If you can't buy the silver then you must spend a lot of time mining it. So overall, doing silver works well if you have cash, otherwise it can be slow. Hard leathers can be good. Kill at the crafting cow pen and then go inside the guild to the tanner and to craft. Some walking, but overall, a popular method. Or, buy hard leathers and craft while standing at the bank. Clay bowls can be down entirely on the ground floor of the guild. Mine, soften, shape, and fire all close together. Less walking than leather and another popular choice. If you want to reach level 50 to be able to make Strength ammies then you need to make about 61 to 65 complete inventory cycles. If you are looking to raise a skill to be able to make money then, IMHO, there are easier skills to raise than crafting. (Mining, woodcutting, fishing, etc) Or just get a membership. Members have many more, better, choices available. (FWIW, I have level 75 F2P crafting. Done with silver) Hope this helps

good way to lv 70 range
Ok, you can do that with about 8411 Bronze arrows if you pick them up (or about 33644 if you don't pick up) or about 8273 Iron arrows if you pick them up (or about 33092 if you don't pick up) Well, I don't know about members but, if you shoot minotaurs in the SoS then you can use the arrow drops for more kills. That will save you a bunch of money. I'm curious, why so fast? "Fast" will almost always cost you big $$$ Hope this helps

Where to train combat? Lvl 99 F2p
Well, are you looking for fast exp, prayer exp, or good loot? If you want fast exp then you want to kill fast respawning lower level monsters. The fleshcrawlers (and other monsters) in the SoS are good for that. If you want good prayer exp then fight Giants. In F2P, Hill giants are located under Edgeville and in the lower wildy. Moss giants are located under Varrock, central wildy, and Crandor Island. Ice giants are located in the Blurite mine and deep NW wildy. If you want good loot then kill greaters, lessers, Ice giants, or moss giants. Crandor Island is good for that. Hope this helps

I need an estimate on Range.......
I can give you an estimate if you tell me what kind of arrows you plan to use. I can not tell from your picture what those are...

Range question
About level 67.5 Sounds good to me. Eventually, you may want to try higher level monsters (Mossies and Lessers) for the better loot that they offer. Also, learn to pull with a Curse and use safe spots. Hope this helps

Where is the best place to kill monsters..
Well that depends on what you mean when you say "best" If you mean "fastest exp" then the fleshcrawlers in the SoS are good. If you mean "has best drops/cash" then lesser demons, ice giants, and moss giants are good. If you mean "allows prayer leveling also" then ice, moss, or hill giants are good. If you mean "no competition from other players" then wildy ice giants/warriors are good. If you mean "drops arrows also" then minotaurs are good. Also, keep in mind that you earn exp according to Exp = HitDone*4 So, you don't have to fight high level monsters to earn good exp. You can earn good exp with non-stop slaughtering of lower level monsters. The first and second levels of the SoS are good for that. Hope this helps

Black Mage Set
Yes, look here Dark wizzies. In F2P, you can buy a dark bottom (with no magic stats), to complete the look. Hope this helps

cursing??????
Well, remember, the idea is to fail when you cast it...
-
cursing??????
There really isn't a fastest place. Many, many places are equally good. I suggest a 100% safe spot in a multi-combat area. You could try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the waters at the 4 zombies in the ladder room. In F2P you can get you magic attack stat to about -68. That's more than enough to always fail when casting the Curse. You can wear any metal armor of full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots, green vambraces, and an elemental staff. Other places could include the caged red monk under the Varrock palace stairs, river ducks, monks, Port Sarim jail prisoners, and White knights in the screen room. Hope this helps

best ratio in bestiary?
Ratio is not really the only thing to consider when trying to find a training monster. That doesn't tell you anything about respawn times, availability, or overhunting. All you really need is a lot of fast respawning lower level monsters. The first and second levels of the SoS have exactly that. That way you can be killing non-stop for hours at a time with very little downtime for respawns or healing food. But yeah, the Experiments do have a great ratio. Hope this helps

Rangers!
Look here for training place ideas. That will get you to about level 62.5 if you don't pick them up or almost about level 68 if you do pick them up. If you pick up your arrows then you need about 6830 arrows to reach 70 and about 23100 arrows to reach 80. Well, you don't have to train against high level monsters you know. You earn range exp as RangeExp = HitDone*4 So, as long as you are hitting monsters "constantly" then you are doing well. The level really doesn't matter. Safe spots allow you to train efficiently since you don't have to stop for food runs, etc. Use Curse pulling to make arrow pick up easy. The Minotaurs in the SOS are nice because they are non-aggressive to you and they drop a lot of arrows. Hope this helps

Range
You can use Tip Its range training guide to find spots. You need about 5450 Bronze arrows if you pick them up to reach 70. You can pick up your arrows using the Curse pulling trick from a safe spot, or ava's accumulator, or a 100% safe spot. For a DEf pure, you could try the Fally White knights in the screen room on the second floor of their castle. It's 100% safe and you can pick up your arrows also. There are probably other, better, places that are 100% safe and allow easy arrow pick up. Hope this helps
-
Range assistance
You can look here for training place ideas. If you don't pick up your arrows then you will need about 3300 arrows to reach 40. If you do pick them up, then you only need about 825 to reach 40. Also, read over the other range threads on this forum for more training info. Hope this helps

Powertraining 60 - 80 Range.
Yes You need about 93425 no-pick-up Bronze arrows to reach 80. If you picked them up, then you could almost reach 95... Hope this helps

F2p Range Spots
You can use the Tip It range training guide to find good places. You have received several very good answers above. I would add that you should cast a Weaken or Confuse or Curse on the monster first to pull it over to your safe spot. After it is standing outside of your safe spot, then begin to shoot it. That way, all of your recoverable arrows are in the loot pile when it dies. It makes getting your arrows make fast, easy, and safe! If you pick up your arrows, then you can get about 4 shots out of them before they are gone. That can make a big difference when training. The minotaurs are nice because they drop arrows. The lessers on the top of Crandor Island are also nice because they have a lot of HP and you can usually get them to yourself. Hope this helps
