  1. I killed greaters in the volcano for many hours and never once saw a revenant. I think they have trouble getting in there. Catablepons are excellent as well. You can range them pretty much non-stop, only breaking to pick up drops.
  2. Sometimes accurate is preferable - mainly if you find yourself missing a lot. Accurate gives you an invisible +3 ranged levels, which can increase your accuracy against monsters with high ranged defense.
  3. Right, but future clues could also take him there. It would suck to get the to the fifth segment of a clue and then have the last part be in a place you can't get. Might as well do the quest. It's not that bad of a quest.
  4. The poison spiders right outside the king black dragon lair might be a relatively undisturbed spot, and provides a very quick getaway with the kbd lair and a teletab. It's also very quick to get back there should you have to tele away. The lessers on the surface are good too, but you are much more likely to be disturbed there. You could also try the other part of the lava maze, either underground or on the surface. But they are hard to get to.
  5. Fire wave is much faster XP and kills. Fire wave is more expensive per cast, sure, but it requires significantly fewer casts per kill, so that somewhat mitigates the increased cost.
  6. Outside of piscatoris, there's a dragon impling.
  7. Yes - collect the herbs yourself. This is a lot easier than it sounds - players killing chaos druids will leave behind herbs guam-harralander. You can kill them yourself in addition to picking up the herbs left on the ground by other players. It's certainly not the fastest method, but even if you stuck with attack potions the whole way, you could collect the herbs you need in a couple of hours. Also, you can buy the eye of newt from the rune shop in Port Sarim, and your vials in Ardougne. This way, you will only spend 13 coins per potion, and 4k or so getting to level 25. And if you can sell them, you'll make a tidy profit.
  8. Mith plates won't sell in the GE, their minimum price is 200 gp above what it alchs for.
  9. Good question. It's significantly slower to mine than coal, and at 80 mining, you can mine 350 or so coal per hour. I'd say you can probably expect to be able to drop mine 200-250 mith ores per hour. The most XP I would expect is about 20k per hour.
  10. You could try just ranging slayer assignments. Most slayer assignments can be ranged from safespots.
  11. 35m will only buy you a little over 3500 addy plates, so the point still stands. Nevertheless, addy plates are good - I usually sell mine for less than market value, so whoever gets them will make money from alching. But I'm not sure what the trade limit is on them.
  12. The fastest way to rank is to hire 10 light units and charge your closest enemy. The best way to score reward points is to invest 10k each game and kill as many units as possible.
  13. Minotaurs would indeed be good because of their arrow drops, and because they'd barely hit you. Get ava's attractor and just fire away so you don't have to worry about picking up the arrows yourself.
  14. I think you can get them from trading in mole skins/claws, though I've done this a lot and always get garbage seeds.
  15. People killing chickens in Lumbridge almost always leave the bones behind, so this is an option. I have to say, it really sucks that they took the boneyard away. This was really the only decent option for free f2p prayer training that didn't take ages. Well, it still took ages, but not nearly as many as the other options
  16. I like to get my ranarr, snapdragon, and watermelon/strawberry seeds by killing monsters and thieving master farmers, and then buy the rest (kwuarm and tree). Moss giants and earth warriors are pretty good for getting herb seeds, and are very low risk to kill. For thieving master farmers, my favorite method is to fill my inventory with 1 of each herb seed I want (ranarr, kwuarm, snapdragon, lantadyme, dwarf weed, torstol), 1 of each allotment & bush seed I want (sweetcorn, strawberry, watermelon, poison ivy), a limpwurt seed, and the rest with the most commonly thieved seeds (potato, onion, tomato, all other low level hops/bush/herb/flower seeds), and take a bunyip. Then just click away!
  17. It might be. Can't say for sure. If you can afford one, a sara godsword might provide you with all the healing you need. And no pesky repairs needed
  18. If it helps, cockroach soldiers don't hit all that often - at 80 defense, a bunyip was plenty of healing for me, so your Guthans wouldn't be needed all that much. You could probably get in 50+ hours of killing them before it needed repairs.
  19. OK then, stay until your pots run out. Still a long time ;)
  20. Unfortunately, they don't. They might be worth using Guthans on for healing though, since you can camp down there pretty much as long as you want, until you are full of gems. And if you ignore the sapphs and emeralds, you could probably stay down there until your Guthans disintegrates. They are very campable if you bring alchs.
  21. Training up melee on cockroach soldiers first would be most beneficial. The charm drop rate isn't as good as waterfiends, but they are easy to kill, and quite profitable with constant drops of noted ore/seeds/runes/alchables, and you will get a decent # of crimsons. Although without a bunyip, you might have to bank for food more often than you'd like.
  22. The time is actually the same for alching, and the new system makes timing a million times easier. You can still do about 1200 alchs per hour max, and it's much easier to do than it used to be.
  23. The hobgoblin mine is easily the fastest for getting mith. It has 19 mith rocks all pretty much clumped together, so you can mine constantly. Just wear a couple of pieces of rune armor, turn off auto-retaliate, and ignore the hobgoblins, because you will continue to mine even while they attack you. Use the canoe near Edgeville to get up near the mine, and a glory to get back to Edgeville once you finish mining. If you want to use prayer as much as you can while mining, tele to your house after banking, and use a mounted glory to get right back to Edgeville. You could also run to the monestary, but that will take a lot of time. You could also take a house tab instead of a glory to go directly to your house, but then you have to run down to level 20 wildy when you have a full load. You could also use a forinthry brace to avoid getting teleblocked by revenants. If you have the mining level, you can also try mining the addy up there. 8 rocks, and they are close to the mith as well. You can sell the addy you mine to buy more mith. If wildy mining isn't your thing, give the Lumbridge swamp mine a go. There are 5 mith rocks and 2 addy rocks there, as well as coal. Use a glory to bank in Draynor, and run back down to the mine after banking. I like this spot because it's usually empty on members worlds.
  24. You inevitably run into other people who mine there with rune picks. It really disturbs your iron mining.
  25. You could try cannoning Wallasalkis, this is the fastest method for gathering blue charms.
