  1. I'm not sure if you got my point D: Misterxman does pixel art. How would a tablet help him with pixel art? It makes things EASIER (not higher quality) with digital painting, but that's not what Misterxman does. He does pixel art which has no use for pressure sensitivity. Are you suggesting that he buy a tablet to move into digital painting?
  2. Tablets don't automatically allow you to make "higher quality stuff" :P They just make the process a little easier. And honestly, I fail to see how a tablet would help with pixel art. It helps with digital painting because of the pressure sensitivity but that doesn't serve any purpose in pixel art.
  3. Screw the band boy and the WoW boy. I chase after the man who plays TF2 :P
  4. Sounds like you're asking so you can break the rule anyway. There is no way to give away expensive items for free. You can lend or be lent items or you can buy items. You cannot give away an item for free (assuming the value exceeds the trade limit). And most importantly you cannot transfer items between accounts, so don't try it. Even if it were physically possible within the game, you run the risk of getting BOTH accounts banned.
  5. [hide=Shutter Island Spoilers]In the end we find out that he USED to be a US Marshall but was later admitted to the institution after everything that happened with his wife and child. Killing his wife, who killed his children, really took a toll on him. He was overwhelmed with guilt (not getting help for his wife, which could have saved his children, and then killing his wife) to the point where he didn't want to live in that world. So after that incident, he created a fantasy world for him to live in. The fantasy world is one where his wife died in a fire and he was still a marshall, etc. He lived in this world to hide from the guilt and trauma of the whole situation and although in his fantasy world his wife was still dead, it was under circumstances that were easier for him to cope with. The institution kept trying to help him face reality , stop living in his fantasy world and just come back to sanity. After exhausting all their options, they decided to try something new: setting up a role play which would indulge his fantasy. They thought that doing that could pull him back to sanity and real life. In the end it is IMPLIED that he did come to terms with reality and realized that everything had been a fantasy that he created, but he pretended to lapse back into insanity so that he could have the brain surgery, which would sort of free him from the guilt/memory of the whole situation with his wife and children. This is implied when he says he'd rather die a good man than live as a monster.[/hide] What ?! He was both ? Way to [kitty] out, Scorsese. <_< It's still a 9/10 though ... I would have liked one or the other, the ending was ambiguous, so I was led to believe it was one of the two, definitely not both. Is this your own interpretation ? Or is it "actually" so ? Last movie I watched, 40 Year Old Virgin. Great movie, Steve Carell is a funny guy. I like Seth Rogen aswell. [hide=Shutter Island Spoilers]Yeah I'm pretty sure he was both. It's been a while since I've seen the movie, but if I remember correctly, in the scene where they show his dead children, he comes home and has the Marshall badge and everything. The whole point is that before the movie takes place, he was a US Marshall (again, pretty sure.. iirc) and came home to find that his wife had killed his children so he killed her. This caused him to go insane. He created a fantasy world where he continued living his SAME LIFE (so in his fantasy world he was still a US Marshall) but he created a new reason for his wife's death to hide from his own guilt. So rather than having him kill her in his fantasy world, she died in a fire instead. So when he went insane, he had to stop being a US Marshall to be admitted to the mental hospital. It makes sense that he's both if you think about it. Because in order for him to believe his own fantasy world, it would have to be based on facts, so certain things would have to remain the same: the fact that he has a wife and that she died, his profession, etc. Basically you know the scene in the lighthouse where the doctor guy tells him he's insane? Everything the doctor said was true. I'm pretty sure the doctor even say something like "No, you used to be a US Marshall," but again, it's been a while since I've seen it XD The big picture of the ending was very clear cut. He was in fact insane and a patient at the hospital. Before he went insane he was a US Marshall, which explains why he was a US Marshall in his alternate reality. The only somewhat ambiguous part (though it's pretty clear in my mind and most people seem to agree on this point) is what happened after he was brought back to sanity. He was DEFINITELY brought back to sanity (accepted that he was in fact insane and a patient in a mental institution) for at least a little while. What's somewhat debatable is whether or not he lapsed back into insanity at the very VERY end (when he's sitting on the porch or w/e with his "partner" [partner in his fantasy, doctor in real life]). What we see in the film is him reverting back to his fantasy, as made evident when he calls the doctor "Chuck" on the porch. My interpretation, and the one that most people agree on, is that he's only PRETENDING to have reverted back to his fantasy world to get the surgery.. because the deal was that if the role play didn't work, they would be forced to give him surgery.[/hide] I watched Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life tonight  Always a fun movie.. I even think I might enjoy it more than the first one.

  7. While I do agree with you to an extent, sometimes people need to raise a level they don't like in order to achieve something that they really want to achieve (to get a quest requirement, to max out, etc.).
  8. Don't let the artwork fool you, I'm Zamorak all the way :P I have a real life Book of Zamorak.. Do YOU have a real life Book of Zamorak!?!?

Well people seemed to oppose my title of Falador Massacre 2.0 so I chose something else :P Anyway this drawing that I started ages ago is finally done! D: I know there are plenty of perspective issues (that guy's pose was so hard to draw!) and the reflection in the sword probably makes no sense but I liked the idea of it!
  12. Where's your inner child? :P I don't see how Pokémon is "sad" and RuneScape isn't tbh. Anyway April Fool's day was pretty fun this year. I was glad to see some unexpected pranks on other sites I'm part of :P
  13. I think the mods/admins are letting people have a little April Fool's fun :P
  14. As a construction addict, I'm all for any construction updates that sound good :P (and these do)
  15. 1. Fletching - 16.8m xp - Was just the first skill I really got into. 2. Thieving - 13.1m xp - I gave Pyramid Plunder a try and after realizing how fast the xp was, I figured I might as well get 99. 3. Construction - 14.3m xp - My favourite skill. Loved it as soon as it came out, never thought in a million years that I'd get 99 but I did.. was ~46th too :P 4. Herblore - 13.3m xp - Another one of my favourite skills. 5. Smithing - 13m xp - Always liked the idea of the skill.. I never loved training it (but didn't hate it either) but I liked what you could do with it.

Oh, please do! That would be the ultimate heart stopper for your mum. That would be epic. I sincerely think you should, tripsis. Doitdoitdoitdoit! It wouldn't work with me because my mum would be like: 'Wait... someone had sex with you?' O_O Which is a completely inconceivable concept tbh :P Honestly I'm scared rofl :XD: I'd feel like it was an actual confession and if I actually were pregnant, I'd be scared [cabbage]less to tell my mom! I'm silly like that :XD: I'll see how I feel tomorrow lol.
  20. So the people involved in the show can move onto new things. Companies get a ton of money when they sell off the show after they cancel it. So I'm guessing that if they cancel it while it's still decent (instead of running it completely dry and THEN canceling it), they'll probably be able to sell it for more.
  21. I agree. I do understand that love can be a silly thing and sometimes you can love someone when you KNOW that you shouldn't love them and maybe you don't even have a reason to love them.. From an outsider's view, the relationship looks like it's doomed to fail. If it has lasted this long and has not improved (cheated 13 times...), it's not going to get any better. It honestly seems like you're already aware of this so I kind of doubt we'll be able to sway you, but just putting it out there anyway. If you have tried this long and it hasn't been working out, I don't see it EVER working out. And honestly, I wouldn't want to chase after someone who clearly doesn't love and appreciate me. And the fact that she has cheated on you that many times show that she doesn't appreciate you (and imo doesn't love you either). Put your energy toward finding someone who makes you feel SPECIAL.. not someone who makes you feel disposable (you didn't say you felt that way but I probably would if my boyfriend cheated on me 13 times).
  22. Books actually trigger my emotions loads more than movies do. I mean I get emotional over both but a good book will have me giggling literally like every 30 seconds... not because the book is funny but because something exciting is happening and I just get so overwhelmed that it makes ME excited and thus I just can't help but giggle :XD: And death/sad scenes in books REALLY get me. They get me in movies too but even more so in books I think. Of course everyone is different and I think generally speaking, your point is still valid :P

I absolutely LOVE His Dark Materials.. it's probably my favourite series. I'll be honest, the first time I picked it up, I abandoned it after the first chapter. But I was in like 6th grade so that's probably a big reason why. I decided to give it another try a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it. So I'm obviously biased but I say give it a try :P
