  1. Congratulations!! Keep up the good work!
  2. I have never attempted to quit because I thought I played too much. I have quit several times because I had gotten bored but it wasn't like I was forcing myself to quit.
  3. Epic movie :P Episodes II and III are my favourites :P I watched Jurassic Park last night. Had been a while since I'd last seen it! Still have to watch the second and third to complete my dinosaur marathon!
  4. Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been really busy D: I'm back at uni now and I haven't been on RS much - partly for that reason. I have however made like 10k nats or so since my last update. I'll have to log Ito RS to double check the exact number though XD I have also returned to working on that digital painting that I posted almost 2 weeks ago. I'm holing to finish it this weekend or something but progress is slow!! In other news, I am soon going to join the world of Windows, to my dad's dismay :P I have the components for a gaming PC on order (as well as two epic monitors!) so I'm excited about that  Anyway, hopefully I'll get some RuneScape playing time in soon!! I considered telling my mom I'm pregnant.. but I don't think I will :P
  6. I'm sorry Tripis, but we can never be together... Good thing I'm already taken then anyway :P My boyfriend and I actually have very similar tastes in music, which is awesome.
  7. I've always been the kind of person that would rather read guides and figure things out myself than ask others for help. I did, however, had a very noob moment my first day playing. I got an old man random event and it wasn't clear to me that I had to speak to him (or how to speak to him). So someone nearby said "Speak to the old man" so I typed "Hello" into the chat rather than clicking on him  I got teleported to the bottom level of the Wizard Tower thing near Draynor and it took me ages to figure out how to get out and get back to Lumbridge.

    I just finished reading Luthiel's Song (books 1 and 2) by Robert Fannéy - epic books. I can't wait for #3 :P
  9. My parents are pretty upset as they're big 24 fanatics. My dad's friend, who's somehow involved in the show, told him it was being cancelled and my dad was really bummed, though he understands why it is. It's always better to end a TV show while it's still doing pretty well than wait until it sucks and cancel it then. I've only seen a few episodes of the show myself but never got into it.
  10. Geeze, music is a matter of opinion. I like Nickelback.. at least the music of theirs that I have heard (I don't think I've heard anything new). If you don't like them and I do, so what? It doesn't matter if you think they're bad and I don't.. people have different tastes, big deal. It's like [bleep]ing at someone because their favourite colour is red  It's stupid to argue over things like that.
  11. It's not about using multiple screens to do one task, it's about multitasking, as Hobgoblinpie said. I love watching a movie while doing just about anything: playing a game, web browsing, just talking to friends, etc. Or if you're playing a game full screen, it's nice to have another monitor to use a messenger or web browse without having to tab out of your game.
  12. Talk about an old thread :P I'll comment anyway :XD: I enjoyed the books but I hated myself for enjoying them.. there's NOTHING original in the books. It's all copied from LotR, Star Wars, Dragonriders of Pern, etc. In one of the books you almost read a line exactly like "Luke, I am your father." Except it's like "Eragon, I am your half brother." A great book series to read if you love Harry Potter is The Tapestry.
  13. Tip.it admins never delete accounts. If you don't like RuneScape anymore, just log off (of both RuneScape and Tip.it) and never come back. There's no reason to go through the trouble of getting accounts banned/deleted.
  14. I watched Shooter twice last night.. literally back to back. I watched it and 15 minutes after it ended my mom came home and wanted to watch it too so I watched it again with her. The movie is just *that* good.
  15. Amazing. Why do you have two macbook pros?.. and a cat? You know what they say... two is better than one! And my cat is clearly the best part of that photo! He really wanted to be a part of it! Oh you know.. for all that hardcore multitasking that I do :ugeek:
  16. There's no reason to try to change someone's interests.. if you're going to stop liking this girl because of her music interests then you don't deserve her. Let her enjoy her music and you can enjoy yours. She isn't trying to convince you that Nickelback is awesome so don't try to convince her that they "shouldn't be considered music."
  17. Need more desk space tbh :(
  18. How do you know that's all they're getting? When a post is removed, people other than the moderators, admins and the person who created the post have no way of knowing what further action was taken (if any) unless the person who made the post goes telling everyone exactly what punishment they received.
  19. I heard someone giving advice to another player in Falador and they mentioned Tip.it. Curious, I went to check it out and never left :P
  20. Since 2006 I have made my money by crafting nature runes and doing farming rounds :P
  21. I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you!!  And it's nice to see you stop by the forums even though you don't play anymore. I go to University of California at Santa Cruz ;o Ahhh haha yeah, so if you've ever had a big concert at your university chances are I've been there, I've been to UC Santa Cruz a few times haha. Awesome! Er not much :XD: I finally logged onto RuneScape yesterday! Thanks :XD: ---------------------------------------------------- I finally was able to go on RuneScape yesterday after not having been on in 9 days! I made 15k nats and will probably do the same today and tomorrow :)
  22. I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you!!  And it's nice to see you stop by the forums even though you don't play anymore. I go to University of California at Santa Cruz ;o
  23. I'm glad you like it! :D Thanks for the luck and for the post! Thank you! :) I hadn't played in a year but I returned very recently (like 2 months ago or something). I only just came back like 2 months ago :) HOW I'VE MISSED YOU, OREO! How is life? Thank you! ------------------------------------------- I haven't been on RuneScape in like a week :( So you guys remember when I said I hate pixel art and it makes me want to throw rocks at myself? Yeah well I got a freelance job doing pixel art.. go figure. So that's been keeping me busy the last few days. I'm nearing the end of the project though so I should be free to go on RuneScape and whatnot in a few days ;o
  24. Made me laugh :P Pretty amazing to have survived that though :| And honestly it's crazy how some people react to things like this (someone stabbing him in the first place). But that's one lucky guy.
  25. Bu-bu-bu-but my hand cramped ): Are you painting with a mouse? I totally remember my mouse-painting, hand-cramping days!
