Currently a senior in high school, but I will be starting a job at my local Veterinary Clinic.

I'm not suggesting loosening up the rules whatsoever. I'm simply saying that PG-13 is a more appropriate label for the current rules, censor and level of leniency. The forum we have now is not G, even if the Staff choose to label it as such. I realize that, but what I'm saying is that if the users see "G rated forum" and act like its a PG-13 rated one, how will they act once they see "PG-13 rated forum"? I honestly don't think it would make a significant difference. It's not like a global announcement needs to be made saying, "The forum rating has been changed from G to PG-13" as that would obviously have negative effects. I simply do not like the hypocrisy in falsely saying this is a G-rated forum, yet having the reality of a PG-13 forum. Even PG is more realistic than G.

I think the rating needs to be changed, rather than tighten up the rules (if that's what you were suggesting? I can't really tell). Those words were all censored until about a year ago when the Staff decided that it was time to "lighten up a bit." Up until that point, the forum was truly a G-rated forum (or as close as you can get, I suppose). I honestly think the forum should be rated PG-13. You have to be 13 years old to sign up anyway, so PG-13 is almost the most appropriate rating. Sure there are people under the age of 13 who sign up, but there are also people under the age of 13 who see PG-13 movies on their own. And even putting that aside, I feel like PG-13 is the most appropriate rating for the forum when analyzing the amount of swearing you can get away with and some of the post content that you can get away with without being punished for it. I understand that the Staff want to maintain a G-rating so that the forum can be fun and appropriate for all ages, but then why not allow people under the age of 13 to register? As you pointed out, our current forum is NOT A G-RATED FORUM. It may be labeled as such, but you wouldn't hear/see the words that you mentioned in a G-rated film or real life environment.

People are still individually listed because that's their "expertise forum" so to speak. They are still listed so someone can contact them if they have a question, problem, comment or concern regarding that forum.

We don't need a thread because the moderators are listed at the top of the forum page (example: viewforum.php?f=30 ). As I said before, all that needs to be done is turn off the moderator lists on the forum index.

It is possible to turn it off on the front page and ONLY have it visible at the top of the forum when you click on it. I've actually heard a lot of complaints about the moderators appearing on the front page and am actually surprised that it hasn't been changed. It would be nice if we could get it turned off.

I think the point of having them together is because people usually offer suggestions for currently-existing bugs. I honestly don't care that much either way, but I do not think that splitting them is necessary. The forum isn't overflowing with activity, threads aren't getting lost, and it has been functioning fine for years.

Nice job :) I think the right eye (her left, our right) is really great - nice job. I personally think you could use a little more contrast in the piece. There's a lot more contrast in the hair, for example, than the shirt.. so I don't think it seems right. But I guess it was a speedpainting so that's not really your main priority ;) But great job!

Actually.. it would be pretty cool if there were two new features: [*:32zpqq6q]F2P, P2P, Retired, Semi-Quit options like littleboy specifically suggested. [*:32zpqq6q]One more box where you could enter whatever you want (i.e. your RuneScape homeworld, etc.). It would be even cooler if you could specify what you were displaying and then actually display it. So you would have: [box 1] [box 2] (you can enter text into both) [RuneScape World] [134] Which looks like: RuneScape World: 134 I'm not sure if that's possible to create or even makes sense, but it would be cool. And we usually have so much extra space on the left hand side anyway.

I don't really take offense from flag burning but I honestly think it's a poor way to "speak your mind" or "make a statement" or "show your dislike for your (or another) government/country." Honestly by flag burning, you're not doing any good whatsoever. All you are doing is promoting violence, hatred and acts that lead to nothing but trouble. There are so many calm, constructive and non-dramatic ways to make a point. Flag burning is basically saying "you suck" without offering any reason or advice for improvement. Am I against the act? Yes, but only because I find it to be low, unnecessarily rude and pointless. And I guess it's because of those reasons that I wouldn't get offended by it. And it certainly helps that I'm not patriotic :P

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. It's not like animals live out their lives and then when they die they are processed/sold for food. They are bred in farm factories, heavily abused, slaughtered in inhumane ways (bleed to death, boiled to death, etc.) and THEN shipped off to be sold. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but it sounded like you were assuming that animals were only sold for food after they had died of natural causes.

If you're at completely different stages in your life, I do think it is pretty weird. But once you get past your 20s or so, that pretty much is your final stage in life (in one sense) and the age gaps can start to increase without making a huge difference. I mean you're out of college, you have probably figured out what you want to do in life and now it's time to live it. So big age differences when you're at different stages in life (one person in high school, another in college; one person in college, the other already starting their career, etc.) are kind of.. strange and even difficult to manage, I think. But once you're both on the same page, I don't think age plays a very important role in a relationship. But of course, as always, there are exceptions :)

That reminds me.. have any of you been on Virgin Airlines? I took Virgin Airlines from SFO to London and the plan was two stories, had a bar, beds, etc.. it was awesome! :XD:

Well it seems like you've ruled out everything that I do :P I typically stay up as late as possible the night before so I can easily sleep on the plane ride. I'm usually in first class where the seats are more comfortable, but I have been in coach before and agree that it can be difficult or even impossible to sleep in those!! I usually bring a portable DVD player to watch my choice of movies. In addition, I usually bring 3-5 books on every vacation I go on (I read a lot.. and quickly :geek: ), so I can typically read for 3+ hours nonstop. Other than those few things, I don't really PLAN to do certain things on airplanes.. I just kind of let things happen the way they do. Sometimes I end up giving my sisters art lessons, other times we talk or joke around, etc. But on most of the really long flights I've been on (over 10 hours), I sleep like 75%+ of the time.

Thanks. I actually want to do 3D Design in the future (for games, stuff like that) but I just never got around to it. I figure that 3+ years of doing one thing a week should help eh? :D ROFL definitely!! :XD: It would actually be pretty cool to compare your work 3+ years from now to your current renders. it can be just his feet/paws with snow under them... all you really see is the white 'sole' and btw, it looks too humanly in the movie Yeah the gait is very human-like. When I went to Taos, New Mexico I heard all kinds of stories about Bigfoot sightings and stuff. A lot of crazy stuff happens in Taos : (Cattle Mutilations anyone!?!).
