The best method is having coins and noted oak logs. Use the noted oak on your servant while you keep making and destroying oak larders is the way to approach this quickly. The servant fee costs pretty low so...yeah.

No there isn't...if you try walking past the grassy area you'll be attacked by vampires and such... Honestly would suggest you to get slayer rings (probably out of your reach) but it teleports you to mortyania slayer tower being next closet method. Or the POH..costing around half mill + completion of Desert Treasure.

Its sad to be stuck on quest because of a silly mistake, but really Jagex should've implemented a system for elite black to be dropped normally....cos people are hogging them over with prices unreasonably high now. Merchs basically try to sell these armor for the quest reward knowing this advantage. Sadly they didn't think this through. But if they were dropped as usual, people would camp there to make a quick profit which leads to that armors prices to fall. This is the natural way for anynew items in rs anyway so WHY are they so bugged with this reason?? Now which is a fairer case..note how the quest armor has become the main focus of the quest, which is prettty bull...so I am for quick profit.... (now how silly of me to have sold the set already :wall: :wall: )

Cannon addiction eh? ....Well I did bought 10k c-balls at once....and it does pay off for speeding up a task and is backed by the slayer points. The fact that you used every lazy method to make that money is good for you tbh. I like cannon task like a routine, nothing more tho :lol:

It's great to finally have it done, plus I wanted it for sometime already. The huge chunk of 700k from 98-99, 300k from 97-98 were done with chin, cos its very unbearable and insane. Anyway, next ones won't come remotely soon (Prayer Summon Slayer etc). P.S. 400 crimson short from 85 summon without using my blues (960 sumthing) :)

Well, you do need quite a lot of strength levels to see 1 more damage, also don't forget you do need a lot of attack and def levels to see a cutting edge difference. Defence level does little help against monsters, its the armor bonuses that increase your odds of taking less damage/ avoid it. By saying odds, its dependent upon its attack style (ranged/ mage/ melee(crush slash stab)) and the attack's odds against the armor you're wearing. (that's where prayer comes in handy). So that means 99 def isn't 99% damage deduction but better odds in combination of armor. For pvp you would wear the armor that gives you best odds against another, so obviously they would do the same.

I would keep it blocked, cos kalphites reminds me of antipoisons, ropes, and fairy ring teleport. Which are all especially for this task. There are tasks that are better, with less world hopping and easier to do and better exp. Ex. Bloodvelds, daggnoths. Those would be my reasonings.

I would agree on point 1- sometimes the task given out is a bit lame, but it also can be good (today i got 2 190s abbys tasks one after another). It would be nice if it has like a slot/ draw system and let your 'input' determine your task, but w/e its just a thought. #2 I always get called a 'noob' for using a cannon, funny thing is I'm seriously slaying. For daggnothss i can finish 180s in <26 mins, honestly would I stay there for an hour or more? heck no. There's no such way as a slayer way tbh, there's only rich or average way.

Range skill itself is quite likeable, most of the time you don't have to pay attention at all. But if people start to pick on multiple, but limited (let say only 3)spawns and not finish the kill, that's the problem. (putting aside the value of drops and put aside why anyone would train there in the first place.) In f2p there aren't much ranging spots, the ones that came to my mind were Crandor lessers, mosses, crawlers, spiders, ankous, hill giants (non wildy), wildy lessers, greaters. Most of which are also melee dominated. You are bound to have limited spawns regardless if you're using any method of combat. Ex. I find that the zombies graveyard west of clan war was a decent spot for ranging, then after a while meleers came, killing the ones that are attacking me, really....What the hell. I find the ranging skill both love and hate, its slow but useful. The main reason for me would be train range because I already got max melee.

Well done, that's an insane goal, 92 half way of 99 farming is ...AWESOME.

you need mourner's set, dds, whip, prostyle* typo or other prayering body and legs, also other melee accessories, CANNON + 2k cannon balls, bunyips pouches(2)(yes you do get fire blasted) I had a 181 task started with 2.1k c-balls, ended up with 600 extra, gotten half the cball's money back with rune chains. 2 pure sets, prayer pots at least 6, but the mourner set is very limiting unless of course you can bring a BoB then it would be easier. These should be enough to kill all of you 133 beasts assuming you have 80~90s prayer and maxed stats.

[hide=] [/hide] The only worthy drops to pick up are ranarr herb/ seeds, watermelon seeds, water orbs, death runes, blood runes, kwuarms. About the ranged prayer, you don't need to have it all all the time (ex. when your hp is still in the green range or at max.). Turn it off if you have raws, which you mentioned already. Guthans....Imo only experienced people should use it. Cause its still risky. SS is the best weapon to use on waterfiends so you're on the right track, but I believe Karils/ black dhide yields better results than Ahrims.

Slayers and non-slayers mind their own business, until one tells the other 'do what I do' or 'you aren't doing it the right way'. Thats when the spices and attitudes are exchanged. Tbh, either way works. compfreak's points are valid, if I didn't train slayer that much I could've been better off, but then I'm just simple minded and went for the easier route (slayer). Ultimately, Its all upto your own preference so why turn to rant, wait, is it because people kept telling you to slay?
