How so? I'm about to go to tormented demons and thinking about how it will affect me. I mean, I can only put one prayer up, right? So if i need the other one, I still have to use my prayer tab. Or am I overlooking things? EDIT: hmm, perhaps you could change your quick prayer during the fight but that seems a lot of hassle.

Doesn't have to be alot (in seperate numbers). It would be good at whichever place your normal healing method doesn't keep up, and banking is a nuisance. I would love to have an elysian for doing armadyl gwd, or tanking bandos.

Very interesting. So karil > void according to your restults ... (you'd need a few more void tests it seems, but from what you have now, karil seems even or better, considering you have higher defense).

go for bursting. I regret I didnt do all of my magic xp on them, because now it feels like a waste, though I'd like to get up my summon lvl. If not, diamond bolt enchanting is a very good option. Do it in pc if you are bored quickly.

This topic is mainly meant to discuss the evolution of rares, spirit shields, and other bought out items. "Hot" items, or items showing some strange behaviour, can also be discussed. Basically, this is where you can discuss most merchanting related stuff. This is NOT a topic to discuss "solutions" to rares or other weird suggestions. Face it, they've been here for ages, so let's just try to make the best out of it, and see if we can make some money out of them, or at least get some insight into their price changes. I might add a list of stable junk items, and if I really can be bothered, a list of street prices of all rares and spirit shields. Help on this is always appreciated. [hide= FAQ] What is junk? Junk is a term used for items that are unsellable in the GE. Before manipulation clans became big, junk were mainly items wrongly priced by Jagex in the GE. Maple longbow (u) for isntance, was priced at 144 gp each, and couldn't go lower (opposite of a price ceiling). Because the price couldn't go lower, it was "stable junk". On the other hand, when a manipulation clan manipulates an item's price much above its "real value", this item will become junk once it is dumped by the clan. This junk is "unstable junk", because it quickly falls back to its original price. Okay, I understand what junk is now. What is junk trading? Junk trading occurs when people trade a highly wanted item (that is unbuyable in the GE) together with junk for cash. The cash that is paid, is the "street price". Someone could sell his purple partyhat for instance for 1.2B gp (= street price). This means he sells his partyhat for 450m (current GE price, which you can't evade because of the trade limit) PLUS 750M worth of junk. It is vital to understand that the "real estimated price" (what people would pay if there was no trade limit) is LOWER than the street price, because although junk is unsellable in the GE, it still holds some value. In my example, the real estimated price could be around 900m. This means that someone would be willing to pay 900m CASH for nothing but the partyhat. People are paying more (1.2B) because they get 750m worth of junk with it, which they hope to turn into cash (around 300m). In the end, the player ends up with a partyhat and 300m cash, so essentially, he has paid 900m for it. ~1.2m for the full vestas & 400k for statius helmet. im just messing around with it, thats all ;) He has cash in inv. nope, it would show up in my lost on death screen. and i cant drop it, otherwise it wouldnt show up there. but if you really dont believe me, go buy a morrigans coif, REGULAR, not corrupted and go degrade it in combat and then check wealth held/lost. it goes from 144k GE price to 1m yea, like i said, im just messing around with it since ive got spare cash to fling around. i acctually like it for skilling, it's very unique armour peices. edit: yes, the armour is being merched atm, cannot buy for max, so yea, i just died with my last set of vestas to a pjer... and i need another set for skilling and such, but ive got the top so far, but not legs yet -.- edit edit: ohh yea, i had brunokiller rush me when i was in full vestas with my AGS out and he hit a 13-0 and a 5-0 or something, im sure if you ask him to upload the vid if he still has it, he can show you what im talking about it. it's epic claws/ags protection. Bat seems a bit annoying when you should be constantly attacking aviansies. It's good when waiting for spawns at boss monsters, but for intense killing, nah. So go with bunyip. Now, for the outfit: With a unicorn, I could jus survive wearing: full void sara stole accumulator ranger boots zammy book With a unicorn, I'd substitute the zammy book for a zammy kiteshield. Bring some b2p tabs just to make sure, and you'll do great. You will notice I didn't mention any armadyl items. That is because the pendant is not needed. Just make sure you aren't close to a lvl 130+ aviansie and wear out the 10-15 min of agressiveness. There are plenty of people there, so you should do fine. I'd kill them near the geyser area, using 10 % prayer. If you use obby rings, you should be able to withstand the other people there. Broad bolts are another decent option.

The funny thing is, slayer isn't really worth doing (when you don't factor in fun). There are better charm dropping monsters, there are better money making monsters, and there are better xp monsters. The only reason to do slayer, is ... to do slayer.

It's not. Cutting and burning yews at ape atoll is a very good idea to do, when you are getting both up anywa. Use a dragon axe though.

The good money makers have been mentioned already. I just wanted to add that full armadyl isn't worth the 26M if it's all you can afford. It's your money of course, so do whatever you want :-)

Lootshare is better in the long run. think of it this way: team member 1 out of 4 gets a saradomin hilt, others get a ton of lootshare points, go out to an armadyl mass, and get a few peices of armadyl armour and a hilt. TOTAL IF THEY USED CS: 50m TOTAL IF THEY USED LS: 125m what if you are too lazy to go to masses afterwards?

Whiner. I never post in color and NEVER gotten a remark about it. Anyway, personally I dont any barrows for their set effect. That's why I use verac skirt (best def + pray bonus), guthan platebody (best def) or torag or dharok platebody and verac helm (pray bonus, best def). On slayer tasks I use slayer helm ofc and mostly neit if not on task, if I dont need high def.

I'm well aware of how to pick up drops without losing hits. Unfortunately, we're talking about luring the summon onto the monster - hit it 2-3 times, and it'll be almost dead before your summon has a chance to hit. Then don't read this thread But I do like the discussion itself. I just got the feeling that it isn't leading somewhere atm, with both of you repeating your arguements over and over. You both have your good points, but one of you has got to be right, and I'm curious myself who is.

ya...but for a f2p player smithing either takes alot of patience to mine your own ores, or an insane amount of money...neither of which most f2p players have you are wrong, it always takes an insane amount of money for a f2per. Getting those ores doesnt make the ores free, you know. In fact, it's better to mine rune, sell it, and buy steel bars or whatever. Things you gather arent free.
