Jagex spoonfeeds its players too much.
Okay, let's give f2p'ers updates regularly because then, they will become p2p! Great idea!

28th April 2009 - Summoning Upgrade and Hairstyles
Okay update, but I had expected much more when I read "summoning update" What about fixing the AI of combat familiars for instance? Let them have a attack mode where they INSTANTLY attack every npc you are attacking. Just a small idea, but no...

Easiest (COMBAT) Skillcape?
1) Ranged is fastest, even if you consider the amount of time it takes to get the money. 2) It's NOT possible to get 250k xp/hour with magic, even if you don't inlucde the time it takes to make the money 3) alching is imo one of the tedioust ways of training. I would put it at the category: "lots of work" So regarding to the ot's question: ranged by far

If 99 str is so common, should I feel proud to get it?
That is because a 99 isn't a 99. Str is a skill that's useful and liked. Cooking and fletching are more the opposite. I mean, you click cook x and do something else for 2 minutes. If you like the skill because of that, that is because you actually like the afk part, ie the part NOT regarding runescape. It means you like wathcing youtube videos and such. a 99 isn't a 99. you should feel happy because you can now hit the max you possibly can. You shouldn't ask for respect or anything.

If 99 str is so common, should I feel proud to get it?
It's very common, but that is because it is so useful and fun. Who doesnt want to hit as high as he can? With cooking, fletching and firemaking, the case is different. Nearly everyone gets those because they want a skill cape. 99 str represents the old view towards skills for me, pre-skill capes. Back then, already quite a few people had 99 str, but because they liked it, not because of some stupid emote/cape. So in answer to your question: you can feel a lil proud, cause timewise, it's still a very long way. However, I think you shouldn't be training that skill to be proud or to get respect, you should train it cause you like to hit the max you can, or because you like training it.

High lvl pouch making
thanks for the answer. I knew I would get answers like this, that's why I would like to hear what you would do in my place. Also, both familiars speed up the killings at nearly the same speed. One familiar is just a bit more expensive and has a shorter timers, yet gives attack xp (not 99 yet) while the two others are cheaper but give xp in skills I'm already 99 in.

Summoning "Tricks"
you can't bypass the trade limit. Junk isn't worthless. The best way to get shards is to buy pouches. Works out at around 22 each.

Summoning "Tricks"
with the spirit kyatts quick banking, I'm not that sure wether the basket of banana thingy is this fast. I mean, you have to drop a few baskets to make space, empty them all manually, pick up the full baskets you dropped, make em into scrolls (which are worth less than the pouches), drop baskets. Seems ilke a lot of hassle;

High lvl pouch making
Hi, I'm lvl 92 summoning and started wondering what would be best to make with my pouches. I do have a lot of experience with this, I actually just need opinons: 1) Blues Well, this sounds easy: geyers But wait: I'm paying 3.8k for a water talisman, while I can get earth talismans for 400 gp each. So I can save 3.2k gp, by the cost of around 90 summoning xp. On top of that, I pay a bit shards too. I worked out I save around 3.6k gp by making moss titans in stead of geysers. The xp difference is 88 xp. (edit: prices have changed a bit in the mean time, still, its over 3.2k extra gp) Another option is to gather some obsidian charms and make lava titans. 2) Greens Another one that sounds easy: unicorns. But let's take a look again: If I make fruit bats, I save nearly 1k on the second ingredient, and around 100 gp on shards, at the cost of 33xp. For golds, there is a similar relation between barker toads and terrorbirds. (paying around 400 gp more for 19 extra xp) Lastly, for crimsons we have wolpertingers and swamp titans, being nearly the same gp/xp, but wolpertingers are double as slow to make at the obelisk, due to the 3 ingredients. Now my question is: which option did you personally choose, or would you personally choose. As a side question: I'm nearly 93 summoning and will unlock the abyssal titan. This would be a great fighting familiar (attack xp)for me, since the wolpertinger and geyser both give xp in skills I'm already 99 in. Would you use the expensive, and short timer (only 30 min), abyssal titan, or just stick to the small convenient wolpertinger, even though I'm already 99 magic. I would use it on slayer tasks. Waterfiend and Solo kbd guide ct method added
Very nice guide. I do have some data on crimsons per trip, but sadly not on xp... You convinced me to try out 10% str in stead of piety. I wonder if I would keep up though, without the 25% extra def.

Tormented Demons - The Excellently Uber Guide!
Recently tried TDS with godsword in stead of hally. I must admit it was quite a bit faster. However, I had to tele early because of lack of food. Switching between 3 prayers, flicking piety and eagly eye, specialing, ..., it became too much and I made quite a few mistakes. Will try again soon.

Red Chinchompa
check my guide in siggy. Chinning at 70 ranged should be doable. At 80 the rates are getting pretty good.

Care to explain what crashed? I know 3a has, and santas and masks, but something I missed (elysian? Phats?)

what to buy first?
fury for sure. You should range in void anyway.

"What the hell are they doing?"
Whats wrong with that? Thats total overkill. I survive there with prossy top, verac skirt and rune defender. DFS is only good for its defence, and that is totally unneeded there.

Teleother the clawer away? Can't. His spec bar will still be there and he'll be able to attack you without interruption, the window closing when he specs. Your best hope is to manta ray\brew as fast as you can through the 10 specs until your unfrozen. Very unlikely, and very, very dangerous. I thought you get tele'd instantly, with accept aid, but I have no experience with it so I probably was wrong. But indeed, this is VERY dangerous, yet pretty nifty thought out. Who expects 10 claw specs :-)

What's a not too long or hard but uncommon 99
I dunno, I personally find hunter very boring. 99 str, attack, defence, hitpoints, slayer and summoning is the best 99s in terms of time spent, IMO.

A brief moment of empathy
No, but then again I have a basic understanding of the difference between real people and autonomous pixels. Real people have emotions, don't have an infinite supply of money, don't respawn on death (I found that out the hard way), and have a memory span of longer than your meeting. Runescape people on the other hand have an infinite supply of cash, do not feel emotion aside from one or two that they are programmed to respond with, will not remember you after your initial scuffle unless they're a quest npc, and respawn after death. And let's not forget the all important: It's a game. You're reading too far into it. I'm going to go murder a chicken in your name (In runescape, calm down!) Ever considered he was just joking. Anyway, nicely written I enjoyed it. I used to have sympathy with the NPC "man". However, that was because I thought he was a real player too, seriously! I was lvl 6 and was wondering how I could possibly beat that lvl 9 player. So I started him asking questions, why he was so weak, and thank him for the money he dropped. After a while, I found out he was just an npc :
