Definitely a sub par quest. A lot of story, but nothing big. -

Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
Foooman replied to Inuashakent's topic in General Guides
You can also die cannoning Warped Terrorbirds, if your pray runs out you get torn up very quickly. As for the five minute grave, it's very difficult to get back to metal dragons on a five minute grave without a brimhaven house. And even then, its almost impossible. Remember, there aren't always people there to bless, especially at late hours. -
I use void range ALL the time when I'm ranging (unless I need slayer headgear for Dust Devils or Aberrant Specters). But, I will agree with the others and I find my Void Mace far more useful than my Void Range, though both see a lot of use.
-
With piety I manage 110-130 crimsons in 54 minutes (1 pony) depending on how much attention I'm paying. I don't really pay attention to the profit, so I'm no help there.
-
Salve amulet does not work on wyverns. Salve amulet will not stack with the Slayer Helmet, even if the salve worked on the monster.
-
I've been ranging slayer tasks for a while now, and void range is far superior to dhide. I'd say its worth the time to get it.

whip + rune defender. sgs is pretty good for dark beasts though (unless you piety with whip then its about the same)

[hide=stuff]Zamorak Cloak (From Treasure Trails) + Rune Defender is much better than Fire Cape + Unholy Book for spiritual mages. Because you are praying, the defense on the fire cape means nothing. There is a better room for Fire Giants, take the north portal from your fire giant room, run through the zamorak warrior/mage/ranger room to the western portal (pray mage). Then take the southern portal in the room of rock crabs. Few people go here, and it has the same number of fire giants in a much closer area, perfect for piety. I would highly recommend the slayer tower over the ALR abyss for Abyssal demons, especially while using piety. Even if it is more crowded, you won't have to run nearly as far to start attacking agian. You can also kill Dagannoth kings for slayer tasks, it gives a nice change to the monotiny of slayer tasks. Same goes for the Kalphite Queen. If you want to include the KBD, include these as well. You really don't need to pray mage on Suqahs, you can do a task on 10 monks. Also, I'd consider Bandos Tassets better than Verac's Skirt. Why? Because the prayer bonus does almost nothing to most slayers. If you are going to piety, you will really should be in Proselyte. And if you are going to pray melee, what are the extra defenses going to do for you? You can also range mutated velds using the tables as cover, or regular velds in the slayer tower using the walls/chairs for cover. Ranging caged greaters is another way to kill greaters. Also note the crowds for brimhaven greaters die off around 11pm eastern. You can also chin nechs in CT. After 85 slayer, you will profit if you piety every task. The drops on most tasks will pray for it, and the slayer points will push you up so you make money. You can range most tasks and stay topped off with a pony, though its costly you don't have to safe spot. But that probably won't be covered in this guide.[/hide] And my last note: I really, really hate slayer guides because you will never be able to cover every way to kill something; that's the beauty of slayer. Sure there are faster methods, but maybe someone is looking for range exp or mage xp instead of melee xp, or they want raw speed ignoring costs, or they are looking for the cheapest possible way to gain slayer xp to maximize profits. -
The most blue charms is the Corpreal Beast. However, without extremely high stats you will be unable to get loot effectively. At W6, and maxed stats + piety + z spear you will manage quite a few kills, most of which will drop 13 blue charms. The other option requires level 90 slayer to kill dark beasts. If you are looking to level summoning, do NOT hunt for Blue charms. The time is better spent hunting crimsons.

Tip.It's Coordinate Locater is outdated, but there is what I find to be a more useful alternative: Tip.It's Full Coordinate List

Hated Tasks: Hellhounds: Extremely crowded by other slayers and clue hunters. They are in single combat and just aren't worth the effort to find a free world to complete the task. Greater Demons: Same case, even after 127 combat they are still crowded on Brimhaven (the only place to safely melee them). I can't be bothered to fight crowds for mediocre slayer experience. Steel Dragons: Not enough spawns to feed the many visage hunters and fellow slayers. Kalphite: These are just annoying, crowds, a cannon on every world, and horrid drops, and I mean horrid. Notice the trend, crowded slayer tasks are  Underated Tasks: Scarabites: My favorite task a ton of slay xp if you cannon, you can do it with either a terrorbird of monks or a pony. Task takes no more than 10 minutes. Skeletal Wyverns: Extremely good crimson charms at 88+ summoning, you can do the entire task in one trip in less than an hour meleeing with a pony. Decent drops as well + a chance at visage. Warped Terrorbirds: If you are in it for the exp, this is no task to block. It's a very fun task if you like clicking. Just throw up cannon and mash your chimes on all the terrorbirds you can find. Probably about as "action packed" as Runescape gets.
