  1. Your goal is realistic provided you can stand the heat. Getting 80 hunter itself is mighty, and once you have 5 traps set, you will find your hands becoming very sore and your eyes popping out of their sockets after about 1.5hrs of non-stop red chin catching. You will be catching 350 per hour + which is a lot of clicking! Leisurely red catching will net you 250-300 per hour but you will obviously be spending a lot more time hunting if you red chin hunt inefficiently. Once summoning comes out though, you may want to reconsider as the summoned creatures may be able to speed up your hunter training ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ keep an eye out for that one! Best of luck with your goal though, but I would add in some significant down time during your hunter period to refresh the eyes and hands!
  2. BUT you can have a weekend away and upon your return your MTK has been working to make you profit for the days you were away.
  3. Grey chins are selling well atm, and you can catch an awful lot of them if you arrange your boxes well (not in a line). You also don't need to drop furs etc if you are chin hunting. Go to greys imo - the best hunter place for money at low levels and good practice for that day you can catch reddies :)
  4. P2P mages would congregate together and barrage the living daylights out of all F2P players. It would be so 1 sided that F2P may as well not even turn up.

Agility atm would be the most respected out of your choices. Mage would be a close second due to the cost, and summoning is an unknown. Getting 99 in summoning would be a major achievement as you would be one of the first few hundy to get one. Hunter and thieving are both considered to be ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâeasy̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ 99̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s due to the very low cost of both and the very high xp per hour you can get from both. Hunter though would provide you with a handy 40M in your pocket which none of others can possibly do, and might assist you in getting 99 mage a lot quicker!
  6. It took me 2k tokens to get my rune defender. Get your tokens by using a mith set ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ only 1 bit broke on me while getting the 2k tokens. Make sure you get at least 2 rune defenders, coz if you lose it and have thrown away your others, you start from bronze again. Pick up all the black knives ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ they make for excellent range training :) Here is a link to Leesters farming for Dummies ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ it is an excellent step by step guide on beginning farming. It is a chore for the first 30 or so levels, but once you can plant trees, the levels roll in daily for almost nil effort! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=299 ... ht=farming
  7. They are trying to get you to either gather resources yourself, or be prepared to make a bigger loss if you buy the alchable item.
  8. Using chins at level 78 is not really economical. It will be faster than regular training but you will not get anywhere near the xp you hear of others getting (200k+ per hr). I would suggest you buy grey chins, and train with those until 85 range, then use reds. Getting to 85 using greys will cost you around the 5M mark, and the remaining 15M will get you from 85 to 92 using reds, or 95 using greys. Remember that you use around 1.5k chins per hour, and 24 4 dose prayer pots will last around 1.75hrs (at 52 prayer). Chins are THE most expensive way to train range, BUT it is by far the quickest. Once summoning is out, along with the new hunter critters, I would expect a lot more chins to be on the market (hence lower prices), so make the most of the opportunity to buy up chins at low prices. Greys are up around 100gp since Xmas, but reds are stable. Expect reds to drop in the coming weeks.
  9. 3k gp says you can use summoning in BH :P
  10. Knights, they are almost impossible to beat while ranging coz they eat so damn fast, and hit so high.
  11. 50k per hour at 85 range at fleshies? Somehow that does not ring true. :^o Fleshies are good, as are ankous using the safe spot. If you are in it purely for xp and dont care about the ankous ok drops then stay at fleshies.
  12. Use iron or steel knives at fires in conjucntion with a cannon. Your drops almost pay back the cost of cballs and speed up your training a lot.
  13. Keep them, they are a pain to get back, and in any case you will soon withdraw another item/s that will fill up you inventory that you can't put back forcing you to get members at any cost! It's happened to me many times before!
  14. Herb prices are at all time lows atm, but so are pots. When Jagex bring out the 1v1 bounty hunter area, expect your pots to rise in price. Collect as many of the raw materials yourself if you don't want to make a huge loss.
  15. You should concentrate on 2 things. 1) Doing all quests that give decent experience rewards (prayer, agility, attack, str etc.) 2) Get 43 prayer Many of the *harder* quests really only require 43 prayer and they become too easy. Check out the AOW guide on Quest rewards, and choose which ones look like your cuppa tea
  16. As soon as you notice that you are no longer hitting at least 6 skeletons with each chin, move about 4-5 spaces away. Many more skeles will follow and begin respawning again.
  17. They will either add in a new cave, and adjust all other levels (3-45, 40-85, 80-110, 105-138 as an example) or just bump up the 126-138. I'd suggest they will just bump up the 126-138 in the short term.
  18. Def for sure. F2P range is long and tiresome (so is def, but wait̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ.). In P2P you can do power-ranging using chins, and you will be kicking yourself for ever flinging an arrow at those giants.
  19. If they improved the lootshare system, and made a 1v1 PvP area, I would be a lot happier. BUT I am happy to know that bots, and RWT̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ers are not dictating the raw materials prices in RS anymore, nor are they allowing someone to gain the upperhand in RS due to having screeds of spare cash in their pocket.
  20. Many, many people have started to plonk 10 on maples recently to get birds eggs, so expect all other tree seeds to become harder to make profit on. 10 on coal, the rest on flax is definitely the way to go, as these will be farmed less provided that summoning actually required birds eggs to be consumed on a regular basis.
  21. Try training range with chinchompas. 200k+ per hour experience. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d say that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a combat stat that is buyable.
  22. I will spend a max of 1M on this in the short term, and if it proves to be such a great skill as Jagex are talking it up to be, then I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll poke more into it. I will be getting most of my own resources required for it though, as I hate buying expensive things!
  23. Account trading and power levelling services can still be done ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ but this represents only a fraction of RWT that went on before the update and since the update the majority of RWT̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ers have left RS for greener pastures. There is not much demand for premade characters in RS (pures are dead), nor power levelling services. It takes so long to gain a few combat levels if you are not allowing the user to access your bank, and there is an enormous risk to take if you allow someone to take hold of your character. Those 2 types of RWT you mention are not a threat to Jagex at all, whereas bots were.
  24. Good to hear it ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ why should rich Joe be able to buy his 200k yews/Barrows set/mask set etc for real money, when average Joe can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t? Gold Farmer does not care about the effects on other players in this game, he cares about getting his $187 pay each month.
  25. A hypothetical question really. You certainly can't put in an order for 10 blue phats in one hit as you cannot physically hold that much cash, but the most expensive item (cracker) would have to tripple its value before the ceiling gp cap woul be met. jagex have plenty of time to deliberate on that eventuality me thinks.
