  1. I happen to love the sandwich lady. I have a collection of her special sandwiches. And seriously, how do you know know the difference between a kebab and a bread roll? Have you been living in a cave your whole life?

I have been thinking the same exact thing for a long time now. It annoys me when people complain all the time about the game about how much they hate it, how bored they are when they play it, how Jagex is ruining the game and taking all of the fun out of it, and yet they keep playing. They are either into torturing themselves by playing something they hate or they are just complainging to fill silence/annoy people.
  3. What the heck did I just read? :?
  4. I know exactly what you are talking about. I have a level 3 skiller account and I cannot count how many times people have assumed that the character was a nub. It's like, dude, if you looked up my skills mayhaps you wouldn't be throwing that word around so much.
  5. I am almost positive that it is not just going to sit there with no use. They are probably going to put something on it in the near future. Mayhaps another city. A quest to there is also a definate possiblity.
  6. I think I might be one of the only people that is actually interested enough in Runescape history to actually buy a Runescape book. Now if I actually had the money for it I would be all set. :P
  7. Junk trading is the reason I deal exclusively with the GE. If i wanted a heap of crap I would have asked for it.
  8. I personally don't want them to remove any of the random events. They add a lot to the game and I like all of the rewards they give. It is nice to do one of them and get a couple of uncut diamonds or a half key. They only random that I really dislike is Molly and that is only because it can take a while if the twin decides to move around a lot. Btw, I hope they keep the Sandwich Lady. I collect the sammiches. :P
  9. They are there for a reason. It is so that doing things in the wild like using the abyss and getting runite and a little bit challanging. The economy would really crash if there was no risk in doing those things.
  10. Seriously, how long have you been playing? There were always green dragon pkers. Their existence and whether or not is was fair for them to be there was one of the huge debates about the rules of pking. How can you say that there have never been green dragon pkers? :-s
  11. Never gonna happen. :P
  12. I guess you have never been to the rants section here before. That is basically what happens with every single rant here. If you didn't want people to bash you for this, you should have kept it to yourself and kept your mouse off of the post button. Ever think that these might just also be a way to try and keep these "longterm" players interested in the game so that they don't switch over to another game that shall remain unnamed that has better flashier graphics? Ever think that they can add new content and update the old stuff jeez, I don't know, at the same time? This leads me to believe that you have not read a single thing about the new Barbarian update that included the dungeon with the mith dragons. When they did this the added many things to a lot of skills that made it so that there are things to do at much higher levels than there used to be, including herblore and the often ignored firemaking skill. Lunar magics also did this not too long ago with the magic skill. You really don't research what you choose to complain about do you? You don't have any level 99 skills do you? I am guessing that because if you did you would know that even with all of the new updates that getting to level 99 in most of the skills is far from a free ride. And even the ones that are slightly easier costs a very large amount of money if you chose to get that level in the slightly faster way. You are aware that Jagex is a business and these new players are how this business makes money right? Way to say how to drop trade in forums. :P But seriously, how am I supposed to take you saying you have never seen it happen as proof that it never happens? I am pretty sure that you are incapable of playing the game 24 hours a day on every single world. Why yes, that is what people are looking for in a new game. Why whenever I find some kind of new game on the internet that I haven't heard of before, the first thing I do is go and see if they are making a lot of money. Then, and only then, do I decided whether or not I am going to play the game. [/sarcasm]
  13. Holly Moses. That is a fantastic bank and an even better costume room. I want your stuffs. =P~ :P Anyways, definately a 10 out of 10 on both of those. Kudos to you for collecting all of that.
  14. The easy solution to the people calling you by your level instead of your name is to just refuse to talk to them until they can say your name instead of your level. Works for me. 8-) And there is always the ignore list for the pesky people that insist on calling you a noob. :
  15. After reading that I realize that you probably hate all new players to the game, but you do realize that the company has to do something for those people and not just focus on high level players right? If everything in the game was created to keep the high level players happy, then don't you think that a lot of the lower leveled people would get discouraged and stop playing the game altogether? As for your complaints, the ditch is there for a reason. It is there to stop all of the scamming that was going on in that area of the game before it was put up. I like it. It has a purpose and it is serving that purpose very well. So what if it takes people a second longer to get into the wilderness? The grand exchange was, in my opinion, a fantastic update. It helps people that are not good with the merchanting scene and who have slow computers, that could not get into world 2 to trade, to get the items that they need. And even though I know that the duel arena update is not going to be the best loved update ever, I think it is serving the purpose that it was put into place to control. They have a valid point when they say that before it could have been used to disguise real life trading. It is not as if this has totally ruined the game. Death matches in the wilderness are still an option right? Ninja Edit: Just because there are 500 rants posted every time there is an update does not mean that all of the rants have valid points and the update is useless. There are some people that have a way of complaining about the best of things. I am betting that out of those 500 or so rants there are only 2 or 3 that make any kind of sense. I dare you to read the RSOF rants section after any kind of update. It is enough to drive a rational person insane.
  16. That would have to be my amulet of accuracy. It is the original one that I got from finishing the quest a couple years ago as a newbie to the game. :
  17. I am seriously loving this exchange. It made it super easy to get all of the seeds that I needed to get the last couple of farming levels I've been working on for the Varrock diary. :
  18. From what I know defense doesn't really do all that good against players in the dule arena and pking. It is mainly good against monsters in the game. I think that is why there are so many pures and why they do so well. Don't think it should be that way myself but it's not like I can do anything about it. :P
  19. There are actually a lot of people like that in the game and a lot of references to pop culture and culture in general. I know that they are big on Monty Python references and Austin Powers.
  20. Seems like a bad idea to me. :? I know that you are trying to make it easier for the player but I think that would be a pain to program. And how would the decision be made as to how much an hour of gameplay in the member area actually costs? I think that the system is just fine the way it is. If someone would be willing to pay per hour for the game then they should be willing to pay the little bit it costs a month.
  21. If you want to get a card like this all you have to do is go into any Walgreens or drug store and buy a prepaid credit card. It would be the same as this member card that you mentioned and it is easy to use. I don't see why a membership card for the game needs to be made when there are already these out there.
  22. I really don't see why so many people are complaining about lootshare and the new assist system. Don't like lootshare? Don't use it. Don't like the new assist system? Don't use it. It is as simple as that. And so what if you can't do anything else while you were assisting someone. Before you still had to drop whatever you were doing so that you could take the person's things and make whatever it is that the person wanted made. It is not like you can mine and make someone a strength ammy at the same time. It is the same as before, just a with a different face.
  23. The bank in the cooking guild is there for the members that have totally completed the Varrock diary. If you have done all of the easy, medium, and hard tasks in this diary than you can use this bank. It is a reward for members that have high skills and take part in the that part of the game. I would think that there aren't even that many members that can get into it. And why are you complaining? There is a bank a couple of steps away in Varrock that you can use if you want need to use one. :?
  24. All that is is the member only area of the wilderness where the red dragons hide out. Been there forever. :?
  25. I agree with you. I am always confused by the amount of people that start complaining when there is a new update. Sometimes they don't even bother to actually log into the game and try it out before then run off to various forums to complain. It does not make sense to me at all. Tecnically, Runescape does not HAVE to be updated. Or updated as frequently as it is. Most of the updates that have happened while I have been playing the game in my two years have been fantastic and have done very well over the time that they have been in the game. The couple that I did not like, I have gotten used to. In short, I think complainers should go program their own perfect game where everyone is happy with everything and then they can come back here talking. Til then, how bout shutting up and enjoying the game that you are supposed to be playing to have fun.
