  1. I don't see what the big deal is about "Oh he had to give up his life for 4 months to get that" is. 104 million experience is really only 95 million if you spend your 9.5 million tokens on experience. So that makes 95 million / 133 days = 714,286 experience a day. In a 24 hour period, that would be 29,761 experience per hour; quite an easily accomplished rate. Here is where we deviate and assume that they do not play 24 hours a day; 12 hours is more realistic. So that is 59,524 experience an hour; still doable. In a standard 1-35 floors, the optimal strategy is to rush 1-29 (This takes on average an hour and a half; could be faster) then do 30-35 on a 5:5 Large. If a floor takes 30 minutes (Which is possible with a good team, etc), then one can do 2 Large floors in an hour. To be more realistic, factoring getting a team and such, a little bit over an hour. Since it is a Rush to finish the floor faster, Level Mod will usually be in the negatives, but not to that extreme (Say -3 or 4 is a good average), so then with Prestige 35 and Floor 35, as well as no deaths, about 53k experience. This number decreases as we go down floors, but would average out at 50k. So then we get an assumed 300k experience for those six Abandoned 2 floors, which will take just over 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete. This exceeds the required experience rate for 12 hours a day, but also considering the time it takes to rush the lower floors to maintain 35 Prestige, we get 5 hours total. If rushing experience is so small that it is negligible (However, I know that many high level Dungeoneerers will do 5:1 Small Rushes, which makes all those floors equate to 1-2 larges, but we will assume that they solo rushed for simplicity purposes) then 300,000 / 5 = 60,000 experience per hour, a little over the required rate for 12 hours a day. So in conclusion, you would still have half the day for you to sleep, eat, do whatever else you wanted to do. With good time management and optimizing methods of experience gain, they will still "have a life".
  2. Just log out and back in again. Whenever I do a lot of Dungeoneering, it tends to be the last thing I do on RS that day. I'm always on Lunar and I've never experienced any problems you have.
  3. Tried to boost 89 to 91, but didn't work. So you need base level to access the particular level.

Magpie is limited to Sapphire - Diamond, uncut, and rings.
  5. Don't bother Stone, he has to learn the hard way.
  6. By advertising, you have control over who's on your team, and can exclude those that don't have high combat / Dungeoneering Level. This is the same reason people still advertise in Barbarian Assault than use the autogroup feature.
  7. Theres a Touhou version?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9JzzyhRFWM Less gore, more lulz.
  8. You need to quit inviting people to join SODB. We are Elitists, we have no need for narbs. :shame: Come for the Monster Hunting, Stay for the trolling.
  9. Promethium Spear (p++), Shadow-silk Hood, 125 Saggitarian Arrows (p++)
  10. Looking at this logically, it might be wiser to level the skill now rather than later. True that with more floors means a higher Prestige bonus, but you also have to factor in finding teams. Currently, the majority do 25-35 in a 5:5 Large. That's 11 Floors, and about 450k experience average, factoring Level Mod, Deaths, and possible uncompleted skill rooms. If you consider Dungeoneering after Batch 2, it'll most likely be 60 Floors total, with 60 requiring 119 Dungeoneering. All the high level Dungeoneerers will rush the lower floors, stopping at around 40. If you have low Dungeoneering prior to this update, then after the update, leveling will be a real chore, perhaps worse than it currently is, due to the lack of teams available, due to the fact that they have all moved on to the higher Prestige floors. My conclusion is train now, or regret later.
  11. Only the Blaster Ring doesn't work. I have both Level 5 Blazer and Blitzer and they work very well. Blazer works in the same manner as Morrigan's Javelin's special, while Blitzer will make Magic have attack speed equivalent of Rapier.
  12. The best way to describe Prestige is that it is the number of different floors you have completed. The current amount of floors is 35, so Prestige 35 is the highest value. The point of Prestige is so that people won't just do Floor 35 over and over again for the best experience. To reset your progress means you keep the Prestige number, but have access to all the floors again. For example, in your case if you are on Floor 23, you will have Prestige 23. Say you don't get level 49 Dungeoneering, and as a result, cannot advance to Floor 24. In this case, you want to do more floors until you get the required level. But repeating a floor will make your Prestige 0. This is when you reset; when you have no more individual floors to complete. By resetting you keep your Prestige 23 value, and won't be penalized for repeating floors. To Summarize, do all floors possible, then reset your progress for best experience. :)
  13. I love how Temple Dissected has a 8/16 bit vibe to it. I could totally imagine doing While Guthix Sleeps with RuneScape Classic graphics.
  14. What a gross misconception that all high levels are "rich". My best of bank usually never exceeds 200M due to the fact I invest it all in skills, which, ironically as a more of a skiller, should make me money, but instead lower my total worth. Yes I have 99 Herblore. Yes I have 99 Prayer. Those are considered to be the two most expensive skills to obtain the maximum level in. Is it right to assume I'm in the mile high club then? Of course not. In contrast, I have 90 Runecrafting, 95 Slayer, and 99 (102 with the amount of experience I have) Farming. I use these skills to get the money to improve my other costly skills. Not all high levels flip items or get lucky killing bosses to attain their money. Of course I tend to do the occasional monster hunting trip, not for profit, but for fun with friends. This is a reason I plan on staying at 90 Attack and 135 Combat after obtaining 99 Summoning (Which I am currently raising the funds for through skilling and such). I understand how the market works, and I could easily merchant or flip items until I earned enough for this goal. But I choose not to, mainly because through skilling, I am contributing to this already messed up economy, as opposed to ruining it even further. No reason to add fuel to the fire. I'll end by saying I still do Slayer in Guthans. I can't afford Bandos, and even if I could, I find no point in replacing my Guthans Set, which has the useful healing ability. Unfortunately, most people outlook this ability due to familiars and such.
  15. Fun fact: In K-On!! Season 2's second ending (No, Thank You), which I love by the way, the girls are arranged by the first letter of their last name to spell THANK. From Right to Left: T -Tainaka Ritsu H -Hirasawa Yui A- Akiyama Mio N -Nakano Azusa K - Kotobuki Tsumugi
  16. Stats change for a quick second while getting out of the pools.
  17. Let's see what Key has in store for us next week.
  18. I'm into some K Pop, though not an SNSD fan myself. My favorite would be Big Bang  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIt6KCwlFPw Taeyang <3: Lol
  19. The copyright at the bottom ruins it for me. I rather stick to the Runescape[Caution: Executable File].
  20. Extreme Ranging Potions would be the most XP per hour for Herblore. Overloads give 1000 exp per potion, but the fact you can only make 4 per inventory, plus the banking time, makes it quite inferior to Extreme Ranging Potions. Grenwall Spikes are stackable, which means that you can make 27 potions as opposed to the regular 14 for most other potions, which results in less banking as well.
  21. Generally, if the cost outweighs the time, then it's the better method of training. If you're making Serum 207 when you could be making Super Strength for example, the latter gives you more than twice the experience of the former. However at much more loss in profit. It all comes down to economic training, or speed training, taking into consideration that the time saved from speed training could be used to earn back the loss.
  22. Slayer gives me an excuse to train combat stats. Without it, I'd probably be a level 3 skiller.
  23. I haven't given up hopes on Angel Beats just yet. It's full of surprises and I'm sure more will come. Episode 3 had Iwasawa disappear, which set the motif of 1 character gone per episode. However, in episode 4, Hinata was "saved" by Yui in the most inappropriate of ways. I honestly can't predict what will happen next, and that's something I enjoy in my stories. Character development and surprises are the hooks that keep me watching. That's something K-On lacks, even though it's considered superior to Angel Beats, mainly because of moeblob, etc. I consider Angel Beats K-On (In the form of Girls De-Mo) with an actual story. So I leave you with this, although inferior to Lia's singing, but is still amazing. Something that makes Angel Beats "unique" is that the opening is always changing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uMIkDVQuK0
