Mine was Daft Punk on the fourth of July. Or was it the fifth? Three weeks before that I saw Arno. And two weeks before that I saw a Scottish version of London Calling.

hah, cool. They toured with Dylan as well. Have fun!

:o Where did you get that from? I don't hate everything. I just don't like Nightwish, that's all. :) Sorry guys, we can't always agree uh. :)

Hah, cool. You never heard much people talking about Barenaked Ladies.

Men in Black Bought this a few weeks ago in case I ever got sick. Two days ago I wasn't feeling too good, so I put it on. It's a lot of fun. No more and no less. The Palm Beach Story It had been a while since that I had seen this movie, so I decided that I should rewatch it inmediatly now that I received his DVD box. And it's really good. Claudette is fantastic and I'm a fan of Joel McCrea. Rudy Vallee is also genius in his supporting role as naive multi-millionare. Great jokes as well, but that's Sturges of course. "Neetz" "Yitz", gotta love Toto. Preston Sturges: The Rise and Fall of an American Dreamer 76 minute documentary which is found on the Criterion disc of Sullivan's Travels. Very informative on Preston Sturges from birth 'till death. Psycho (remake) Well, that's something else for a remake. Pretty interesting project, not all that bad as everybody claims it to be. Yama no oto I love this kind of stuff. It's so calm and relaxing. The Japanese were/are so good with this type of family drama. Setsuko Hara is such a fantastic actress as well. You can wake me in the middle of the night for this.

So, we're as good as done with the summer blockbusters. Pirates has been out for a while, Harry Potter had it's premiere last week and also Die Hard, Ocean's 13 and Shrek 3 have been released now. So, what others movies are you looking forward this year? Personally I can't wait to see The Golden Compass, Stardust, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, I am Legend and of course Seeney Todd! A lot of fantasy for my likings, but ah well. The end of the year is looking very interesting. What about you guys? If you want to have a good overview for the upcoming movies: Click

I always thought it was a service.

Yea, too bad he got shot so young. More people should check him out.

Tell me more. Why are they your favorite band. Why do you think I should listen to them. And if I want to listen to them, what albums/songs should I start with.

Hehe, Underground. Some crazy stuff on there! Good choice.

The upper-class car sales places don't allow test drives. ;) If ya' get what I'm sizzayin'. Yea, they're rich enough to buy another one if it doesn't fit their needs. If you get what I'm saying. ;)

He 'conquered' the forum? How can you 'conquer' a forum? I think he's out of his mind. Lock him up.

Bye, good luck and everything...

It wasn't very large There was just enough room to cram the drums In the corner over by the Dodge It was a fifty-four With a mashed up door And ÃÆÃâÃâàcheesy little amp With a sign on the front said "Fender Champ" And a second-hand guitar It was a Stratocaster with a whammy bar Good luck on your band.

MASTODON!

Hm, saw this topic and decided it wouldn't be bad if I wrote down the titles that I have on CD. Should be easier to keep up with it also. These are my CD's, not my fathers or my brothers or my uncles or whoevers, unless I wrote that behind it. Not as impressive as LP's collection, but there's enough good music on it. Oh come on, show some interest.

There is a place in Antwerpen, it is on De Groenplaats, and it is called "De Post". Everything they make there is brilliant. My favorite are de Garnalenkroketten (kind of hard to explain what they are :P it's with shrimps. (not those rancid norwegian pink shrimps, but the Godly greyish Dutch ones). And they've got an amazing pasta with Rucola and Gamba's, it is HEAVEN. If you're in Antwerp, and you need the greatest meal you've ever had. Go to De Post! They've got some typical Belgian things as well, which taste very good too. Here at home, my mother makes so many delicious things, I couldn't name anything. :P Oh, and Onionsoup.

Also. But everybody hates Michael Bay. :P

Yea, I guess you can call it a modern classic. Not really a fan of the movie, though. But it's pretty good. Deffinitly essential for the nineties, and Michael Bay of course. Which is also the reason that 60% of the planet hates it.

Garbo Very interesting introduction to the most beautifully photografed woman in the history in cinema. Those eyes! But what a tragic career.

Because I can only listen to pop-music and the likes when I'm on the computer. Need to concentrate a bit when I listen to that music. Sorry.

Oy! You're still alive, where have you been?

Haha, what a funny topic. The Ice-Cream part was hilarious. You're not emo, just missing a girl.

About a year ago I got into the electrofunk band Chromeo. It's consts of two members Dave and "Pee Thugg", they have been friends since childhood, and now they've been making music for a while. The reason I'm starting this topic is that other than myself and a few guys on other fora I never heard much other people about this band, and that while they're so much fun! They're incredibly cheesy and they've got this awesome 80s feel all over it. And of course I don't want you guys to miss it. They've got two albums out now. The first was She's in control and the second one has been released two months ago and is called Fancy Footwork. So far I've only got the first album. But I shall be getting the second one pretty soon. Some video clips of the first one: Needy Girl Rage Wiki Let me hear what you think. Enjoy!
