The Pornographers (Criterion Collection) Idlewild Zelig Manhatten Marlena Shaw - The Spice of Life Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (deluxe edition with live CD) Lorena Mckenitt - Ancient Muse La Musica della Mafia vol. I: Il Canto di Malavita Now especially that last album was a pretty interesting find. It's music made by and for the Calabrian maffia, made in the tradition of the folk music from Calabria. There has been quiete some controverse around these albums in Italy because they kind of popularized the mafia. There's some pretty creepy stories told on this album, and all of that guided with that 'sunny' music. The booklet comes with English translations of the songs, by the way! So those who've got a facination for the mafia/crime might want to check this out.

I didn't get furhter than the first track. But it sounded promising, nice and nervous.

Brick was cool. Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing & The Black Dahlia are worth checking out as well. I don't really know a lot of movies out of the genre, I'm more interested in the classic noir.

I don't care about it. People and their parents should set their own guidelines and see for theirselves if it works or not. I've been allowed to drink and smoke since I was 'underage'. Smoke from around 11, and drink since 14, and it didn't make me a very bad person. I've stopped smoking and I since a few weeks I only drink in weekends. I wonder if there's a 'right' age for people to ruin their body, but hey, that's only me.

You didn't hear about this earlier? :o I've been looking forward to it for quiete some time. Seen some trailers so far, and I must say that Cate Blanchett looks a lot like the Dylan from that period, I wonder how she is going to be in the final piece. Of course it's a kind of logical thing to go for the "Palindromes" approach, since Dylan constantly keeps re-inventing himself. I have to wait till MARCH 2008 to see it though. It plays in Belgium four months earlier though, so perhaps I'll vissit our neighbours again.

About 7 years ago I got 10 gulden credit for renting video's, but we didn't have a video player. Yea, that was pretty crappy.

But you do sing along to songs you know by heart sometimes when you are alone or at a concert? Singing is awsome! Yea, when I'm alone I kind of dance to it in front of the mirror and sing. At concert's I only yell powerfull one-liners.
