with the amount of these threads popping up, youd think people would learn and not joke about these things. dont blame jagex. blame yourselves for being so stupid and not learning from other peoples mistakes.

maybe if they decreased the drop rate as well prices would go up and it would become less common.

well consider yourself very lucky. they sold out at a stupid rate. i only managed to get 4, plus i have friends in the ballot for extras. i do believe that selling out in under 12 hours is a new record for them.

if things like pies and cakes could be enhanced, it would also shift cooking away from fish back towards the multi-step foods, an argument always brought up by rsc players.

whilst I agree. is not quite a valid argument (people can have trouble paying X amount of money regularly, regardless of what X is), is very valid. essentially you are suggestion a level of membership cheaper than normal members, but with less costs. the disadvantages can be easily removed. i doubt jagex will ever tread down this path.

firstly, "noob" is a very subjective word, and perhaps by your wanton segregation of the runescape community, the word "noob" could be applied to you. secondly, "noobs" have as much right to play pest control as you do. even tip.it "noobs." so, if you want a tip.it pc world, prepare to host the tip.it "noobs" as well.

haha no, there is alot more to come. i just counted the gig guide from last year, there were 82 bands across 9 stages. its huge.

@Lageris89: its not a pop festival. it covers all types of music. @Futurama: this is only the start of the lineup. there are at least 2-3 more big announcements to come, plus smaller bands. all up there are around 80 bands that will play over the entire day (11am through to 12am). for all those electro/dj fans out there, i suspect justice will be playing. they have announced dates they will be over here on their myspace, and they *coincidently* coincide exactly with the bdo dates.

dont think of this as an update. think of it as a reward for those who have reached 99 in a skill. if you think about it like this, then of course f2p deserve these capes. in no way is a p2per with a 99 skill more deserving that a f2p with a 99 skill. they are equal. the effort put in is the same (if not more by the f2per). i believe that f2p should be given these capes. the POH room and the capes are seperate, so those that use that argument really dont have one.

i disagree. it would be a way for those who have rl wealth to prosper in-game. there should be a defined line between your real-life and runescape socio-economic status.

i know the current lineup, i was asking if anybody had heard rumours about unannounced bands that might be performing.

who has bought tickets to big day out? if so, what city? which bands are you looking forward to next year? have you heard any rumours as to bands that havent been announced yet? i managed to get myself 4 tickets to sydney, all from being awake at 12pm and waiting for the website to open. fairly shocked when i found out that 45000 tickets had been sold in less than 12 hours. personally, im looking forward to muse, the killers and jet. hopefully they will announce some more bands fairly soon. i wouldnt mind seeing some of the bands that went over for the euro invasion at bdo (van she, midnight juggernauts, the valentinos etc).

i wasnt the greatest fan of the first album, but as soon as it was released i ran to the itunes music store and ive been loving it ever since. my favourites are "when you were young" and "this river is wild." on this album they have progressed from the alternative/indie sound to a more grand rock sound, whilst still retaining the indie roots.

if it sounds good, i listen to it. in a previous lifetime, i wouldnt really listen to anything with a female singer, but now im into the likes of yeah yeah yeahs, new young pony club, royksopp, the knife, sneaky sound system and the like.

a bank, possibly, but it still seems like the suggestions would make things waaayyy too easy to level. definitely no furnace there.

i think the disease from the zogre cave also carries over. its so you cant change to a free world, run to a bank and then swtich back to members.

in terms of pking or any other combat situation, this would make the game very imbalanced. a mage could use teleblock, entangle and ancient magicks all by switching staves. way too overpowered. maybe if there was a seperate spellbook for teleports then this could work...

ok, for starters, why not put all your suggestions into 1 thread, and make sure the title of the thread doesnt start and end with "+++" ? now, to the topic at hand. i do believe that jagex wants all accounts to be individual. what achievements you make on one should not be transferrable to another. if you want to make a new pure account, make it self sufficient rather than needing it to live off your main. i dont support this idea. edit: and big bold font isnt cool these days...

its called reading. read around. various forum threads here and there, bits of information picked up from other players or hints in-game. people dont make stuff up. usually its a guesstimate or an informed guess. and next time, try not to make such a vague suggestion. ...by doing things they shouldnt be doing. what is worse is when the complain about it, as if they had no involvement at all in the loss of their acount. so what were they doing on the macroing site in the first place...

there is a way to fix this. go to the volume control window (the one with multiple sliders) and mute sw synth. that should get rid of all rs related sounds without affecting anything else.
