a skill that doesn't get enough credit... your opinion on fm
and you look lame making a first post of that quality... remember its a game. its there for fun. if he enjoys lighting fires, then who are we to tell him otherwise? in your opinion, if firemaking sucks that much and is so repetitive, then wouldnt that give you more respect for a person who reached level 99 in said skill? personally, i think firemaking is a skill that has been abused by jagex. i found it fun to train it to level 60, just so i could have the personaly satisfaction of being able to burn yews. i respect those that have the patience to train fm to 99. and if you enjoy firemaking, then dont stop.

Inappropriate username option
if someone has a genuinely inappropriate name, report them under offensive language, simple as that.

Jagex make another query mistake
has anybody stopped to think that maybe they dont want to answer questions on an update that hasnt been released yet so as to not give anything away?

New F2P Spell!!!
we really dont need a tele to al kharid. if your only argument is that "it would make things easier," then you are lazy and dont deserve a tele to al kharid in the first place.

The Ethics of Advertising in Game?
jagex is known for their subtlty and bad puns. im sure that any advertising would be subliminal for greatest effect. plus it probably wouldnt be their style to create a billboard in the middle of varrock saying "BUY COKE" or something like that. but the citroen flag does look suspicious...

Take this my children and do with it what you will!
you mean these ideas are going to die if the topic doesnt get bumped. sorry dude, but the ideas just dont work. they are not a logical or practical solution to the macroing problem, so i think the best place for them is somewhere on the 76th page.

thanks for the clarification. that makes ip bans even more useless. and what if a normal runescape player with a dynamic ip inherits a banned ip? should they be unable to play runescape for that time because of someone else with a dynamic ip?

Make random event items not count toward bankspace
wow. my computer is really screwing around...

Make random event items not count toward bankspace
i love this idea. except it should only count towards random event items, not holiday items, so the holiday rares (phats, crackers etc) dont count towards this idea. due to bank space issues, i dropped my full zombie set. no big deal, i didnt really like the look of it anyway.

if we knew what hindered macroing, the macroers would be able to overcome it, wouldnt they?

oooppss. double post.

ip bans dont work anymore. the existance of dynamic ip addresses have made that type of punishment inneffective. i get banned, i changed my ip address, i can play again. lavirylime, its terrible that you have to agree, but its all true, isnt it? the only thing so far that made a significant dent in macroing was the update of the games engine. that cut macro numbers by alot.

so I killed this fool the other day...
well, jagex consider actions like that to be item scamming and arent in the spirit of the game. so if by following what jagex have said, are we nooblets?

most useless item in runescape? F2P only
my vote has to be the banana in a rum bottle.

firstly, on point 1. why penalise the genuine skillers, who pride themselves on having the skills they do whilst retaining a combat level of 3? point 2: the people running the macroers create the account, get it through tutorial island, then let the macroer run free. in regards to most of your other suggestions, its seems like you have put alot of time and effort into writing them, but they are all pretty pointless and stupid. most of these are just "inconveniences" that would make the creators of the macroer programs need to reprogram for whatever random events or gate locks jagex throws at them. there isnt anything here that a) would work or B) we havent heard before. sorry, but this isnt gonna cure the macroer problem.

Stock Exchange
It is very similar but on a smaller scale no, it isnt. "stocks" dont exist. they arent items or resources. they are a share of the ownership of the company whose stock you are buying. what you are talking about is an in game market. jagex wouldnt make either, because as a previous poster said, the current system works, and a stock exchange would mean inflation, which is what jagex doesnt want. plus i dont think a stock exchange would work in game.

reporting drop parties
no, holding a drop party isnt a reportable offence. but most of these people are just trying to password or item scam, so follow them and wait til the do something that is against the rule before you report them.

prayer on god armor
i think having a magic bonus in melee armour would be a bit contradictory, no? but there definitely should be a prayer bonus

Trouble's Brewing in the Servers...
i have to agree with you there. normally the aussie worlds would be close to full what were normally the peak hours, but now, the numbers arent what they used to be.

any clues about this?
dude, are you sure you know what you are talking about? there is no way that anybody could prevent being reported. jagex staff can be reported, but what is going to come from doing that? a warning for false reporting? the problem was that you either mistyped his name, or you were reporting him for item scamming rather than password scamming. there is no way he could have blocked you from reporting him.
