Jeez this forum moves fast, a few hours gone and its the last one on the page :o

Note: This was initially made for my clan forums, where everybody knows me and stuff and there was no need for personal details. This is why there isn't much about me :P If you want to get to know me then you would talk to me and stuff because I'm not just gonna write about myself here :D Well, I finally decided it was time too get off my lazy behind and actually make money, get some legit gear, and monster hunt my head off. First, the plan. Please note that this is a VERY LONG TERM PLAN and will probably keep me busy for months and months :shock: This is what I like doing in RS and this is what I'm going to do, no matter how long it takes. All my plans are temporarily on hold Until I get 99 hitpoints. The Plan Green=Done Yellow=In progress White=Not started yet 1) Barrow for money for DK gear. (T helm, K top, V skirt, Whip, Obby shield, D boots, 1k diamond bolts (e), plenty of brews/rests to start me off with) 2) Hybrid DKS for more monies :) I find solo hybrid the most fun but I also love duo. Start saving for my 3 big goals of a DFS and 99 mage and 88 Summoning. Once I have enough cash to buy a fury/arma skirt/v helm I will.. 3) Kree'arra probably in trio teams, as that is my favorite. Make even more money and have even more fun :) 4) DFS Once I have enough money to buy dfs with a little bit of money left over (1 hilt, lol) I'll buy my DFS :D :D and have lots of fun with it at GWD and DKS as I will certainly need a lot of money for my next goal.. :? 5) 99 mage and 88 summoning Yeah, it's gonna take a while. I realize that. And it will be very expensive. I realize that. But I'm going to do it :D Not very complicated, burst lobs for charms and mage exp and then buy 2nds/shards and make pouches.. trade in the pouches for more shards.. etc. lol. But wait, that's not all! Through all of this I will also be getting other stats up. I will train these when I get bored of hunting stuff. (Which will be often because I don't want to get bored of hunting and give up. When I'm bored and I go to get a few defence levels I think I'll soon be dieing to get back to kree :wink: ) My goals: You may notice that those include 99 Defence/Hp, 81 herblore and 83 slayer :P I am NOT power training any of these. They will come very slowly, if at all for some of them. They are just things I will do to take a break and do something new. They are skills I would like to have and don't hate training too much. That's why I said 83 slayer when realistically I'll probably get close to 80. I want 81 herblore and know I can do it, but I have to prioritize with money and Herblore is quite an expensive skill so I just don't know. I'll at least get a few levels here and there, though. I'm not setting goals for every skill because there are simply skills I don't like and see no point in training. I don't like agility and the only reason I would get it up would be for Zil, but I'm happy with Kree already. I'm only getting about 20k rc exp to round off my level to 60 because I can't stand it. My thieving shall be left at 54, don't like training it and I wouldn't really get anything out of training it soo.... And my farming is staying at 52, aside from using all lamps on it. I just dont' like training it so whatever ^.^ I'm getting 70 firemaking just because it's already 68 and it's nice to round off skills, plus 70 is a good number to get for any skill. To add on to what zaaps said, the higher the drop, the wider range of people will announce it. At certain levels local bankers announce it, then the falador gaurds, then with a drop over 1M bankers around the world announce it.

This will come from the standpoint of a monster hunter :) The order is different depending on what you do. For example, if you're a pker you may want to go in the OPPOSITE order. But whatever this is what I would do because I'm a monsterhunter. :P First: Defence, by FAR the most useful out of all 3, and it's useful for all 3 combat types. Second: Attack, bosses have high defence and being able to consistently hit, even if you're max hit isn't extremly high, is incredibly helpful and very good for all bosses. Third: Strength. Well, you hit higher, big woop. Lol. But why waste exp on att/str when you could get str levels? Besides, it's not like higher hits don't help.

7/10 I would give it 9/10 but I would prefer no weapon and a different cape. However I REALLY like the armor with the slayer helm so still 7/10 :

Tanker melee prays and everybody else range prays. Duo Bandos most people just go non-ls and split drops using some methods.

This is a friend, it's no where close to max but I still thought it was cool. How to do it - if somebody does a skill cape emote then you attack them, you can hit them multiple times but the second hit acts as if the person still has full hp because the damage isn't taken until the emote is finished. So in reality (I have 94 hitpoints) he could have hit a 94 94 on me, but the chances of that happening...

So you use it.. then how do you 'disagree' with it? #-o Obviously you find it helpful if you use it. /you're point

Use that ess and make nature runes :thumbsup: P.S. You don't need full guthans to DK, in fact I find DKS better without it (unless you're maging, which tbh is really boring and I don't do. And even then, it's kinda hard to do it if you have hybrids with you because you have to get rex right when it spawns, and if you have spear on when rex spawns it can take a while to attack.. and may get on the hybrids which ends up in a disaster if they're killing supreme because they have to go up ladder, prime has time to spawn, and they have to kill supreme with mage prayer on taking a good deal of damage..)

If you manage the simple task of keeping your prayer on, there's no risk. Keep it above 40 and you have almost no chance of dying even if your Internet just dies. If you still won't take a fury, then take a stole. It's not that it's arguably better, it just IS better. You waste way too much prayer potion (as I'm sure you noticed, judging by your first post) without it, which means more trips and more money on prayer pots. Not true, the cost of the chins completly overshadows the cost of prayer potions; both time wise and money wise it is better to go for range bonus first, prayer bonus second. Oh, and what are you talking about with the 'risk' of bringing a fury? It will protect over all of your other gear, and its not like you already have 3 expensive items that you're protecting..

My theory: It's 100% luck :

Nice level and drop \ However - lobs weren't nerfed. I have friends who are both bursting/barraging as I'm typing this and they say their charm averages are the exact same as they have been for months.

To be honest BGS is a piece of poo. Unless you are into bounty hunter.. then it's useful. It BLOWS for training with. Bosses- Sara gwd = horrible Arma gwd = cant use Bandos gwd = bandos is always crowded and you get crashed if you dont have a huge team.. if you do have a huge team the hilt split it really low and its REALLY boring.. Zammy gwd = Ok decent for zammy gwd but seriously, very few people go there. DKS = you can only melee sup, and bgs blows for it - too slow. KQ = now a waste of time (chain split is like nothing and D2H really IS nothing) On the other hand, Whip + DFS owns monster hunting and training And on bosses that you range, DFS owns also \

Snakeskin boots, Arma helm. If you don't want to get arma helm, get karils skirt instead. If you do use Arma helm, wear a glory (would be fury but looks as if you can't afford after buying helm). And wear RFD gloves. You're using diamond (e) right? Also, range is very low, not good. One more thing.. why bring sharks for killcount? Just take the brew/rest ratio and put brews/rests into your bird with a prayer potion also for killcount. And, that ratio depends on how many people/your defence levels. In a mass trip you can bring 2:1 brew:rest or just a few more brews, in a quad trip it would be 3:1. Trio with your stats isn't even worth it at all really, be using too many supps for not enough kills.

I'm 99 range, use addy bolts with range pots, and STILL dislike steels. They just take too long.. rather kill irons.

The ONLY use for Dark Bow is the special for BH. It's bad for monster hunting with or without the special attack, and it's bad for BH unless you only use it for the special. Crystal bow, tbh I'm 99 ranged and I hate it. Maybe it's just me, but its too annoying; it's stats get lower and lower, it completly degrades, and is kinda expensive unless you have it at the 180k charge. And it's annoying to recharge. Soo.... rune c'bow with mith bolts? :D But out of those two I would choose crystal bow, since it's actually practical to use. I once did a test with dark bow and iron arrows versus bone c'bow with bone bolts on greater demons - bone c'bow killed them faster. :thumbdown: fail

Use a turtle it's much more effective for solo'ing, and don't bring brews because they un-pot your stats. Graar is MUCH easier with super potted stats ;) But, 8/10 for the drop and 10/10 for your insane luck :thumbup:

9/10 would be 10/10, except that DFS has a -10 mage attack bonus while anti-dragon shield doesn't ;)
