Jagex owns all images and such from Runescape, so if they do request a video of Runescape to be taken down, they have every right to do so. Same thing with musicians.

If Jagex gives F2P dragon weapons, then F2P players would probably just ask for more stuff. Also, since some people have compared F2P to a glorified demo, it raises the question of when was the last time any other demo has been updated?

I'm not really sure where to post this, but I have been trying to update my avatar and I keep getting a message saying the URL is invalid, even though I'm using photobucket and just copying and pasting the IMG code. Also, the dimensions and file size of the pic I want to use are within the maximum limit. Any suggestions?

I've learned a couple of random facts in the time I've been playing.

I think you more than achieved your Farming goal.

It's lame when you take an hour of your day to do them (on average) and you only get a piece of furniture or something else that is completely worthless. I'm not saying that you should get something amazing like 3rd age everytime of course, but it would be nice if the rewards were a little bit better.

I guess it could be a possibility. It is most likely just a static area effect that they put in place for this specific event. I'm not sure if Java is able to create dynamic daylight changes.

I usually hop if I'm fighting monsters if I show up and there are others there unless there is only like 1 person there, since I can talk to that person.

That's why I generally stay away from the official forums.

I only use it for restoring run energy. Not sure if the teleports really affect F2P a whole bunch except maybe the convienance.

I will usually take small breaks while training a skill, but overall I follow through with my goals. When I was going for 99 fishing, I would stop every now and then and hang out with friends or do a quest or two.

Wow, so many good responses here. I will have to agree that skillcapes did mess up the prices for some stuff, but I think the GE messed up prices even more (I do like the GE, don't get me wrong). Personally, I raise skills so that I have access to more that the game has to offer. I'm currently raising my slayer level so that I have access to different monsters to fight. This is just my personal preference of course.

I got over 1 million exp in thieving one day, but I was doing Pyramid Plunder which is over 200k/hr. I didn't play the whole day and just logged in for 1-2 hours at a time and then did some other stuff. But the 10 million in one day is pretty crazy either way.

I don't really care. I'm just happy that we get any updates at all.

I've been seeing some posts recently about how skillcapes ruined Runescape. Please explain to me how skillcapes ruined Runescape. Some people talk about players buying materials and grinding to get a skill to 99 and I do not see how this ruined Runescape.

In real life, I think that money can make you somewhat happier, in that you don't have to worry about getting food or other stuff. This applies to Runescape as well, as it is very frustrating not being about to buy anything, whether it be armor or materials for training a skill, so money can definitely increase your happiness, although it isn't the only factor. All in all, it is all relative because what makes one person happy may not make another person happy.
