  1. were you referring to this topic? http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=755170 Same [cabbage] just a bigger list  Oh woops. Yeah, I meant to post that one. I don't knwo where the YouTube one came from.

    Flag Burning.

I haven't burnt a flag myself, but to some extent I can see why people would do it. I myself find it interesting to see how offended people get by mere symbols, the Swastika for example. So yeah, I don't have a problem with burning flags, but in most cases it is a tad pointless.
  3. Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That [cabbage] Gold (Album) Really, really good Hip-Hop.
  4. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=561170? Nonetheless.. - Elephant Man - Fight Club - The Shawshank Redemption - Juno - Schindler's List - Star Wars (1 2 3 4 5 6) - The Chronicals of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian) - The Matrix (Only the original) - The Golden Compass And - Mean Girls and Almost Famous tie for #10.
  5. Haven't heard of it except form this forum. However, I like Ben Stiller, so I'll most likely check it out. :)
  6. I was going to suggest that as well. And at risk of being flamed, you could possibly put Nu-Metal and Metalcore up there as well. I mean, if you're going to see what sub-genres of metal people like the best, you may as well show the entire spectrum. Thank you for putting Progressive up there. :) Progressive would be my second favourite, probably: - Between the Buried and Me - Tool - Dream Theater - Shining (Also Black Metal)
  7. No.. to use the basic functions of a computer just requires common sense. I don't know a thing about programming or any of the more advanced aspects of computers though. However, most people, unless it's their job, don't have to worry about that either, so that probably shouldn't come too much into the argument.
  8. Progressive should be up there. But Black is my favourite, 3rd wave in particular. I listen to a bit of 2nd wave, but not much. Awesome Black Metal bands: - Anaal Nathrakh - Burzum - Dark Funeral - Shining - Blut aus Nord - Elffor
  9. You're lucky you live in Southern California, or i'd flame you to death about your post. you do realize hes being sarcastic, do you? (or maybe its just my impression) You can't expect THAT much from Mlb.
  10. You probably should have asked them for a quote before you got them to do the job for you.
  11. Have you seen Rivers ads? You'd like them.
  12. We don't "need" anything of the sort. Anyone with the capability to carry out some accurate research on the topic is smart enough to realize there's no correlation.
  13. Rug sale commercials are really, really funny.
  14. SilverSword, you didn't get a recommendation, so I'll recommend you M83. Electronic Post-Rock band. I don't listen to them enough to give you advice on a good album to start with, but they are very cool. As for speedofsound, I don't really listen to any artists similar to Coldplay, so I can't recommend something based on that. However, you can never go wrong with , so check them out. Both their albums are amazing.
  15. viewtopic.php?f=77&t=756219 You're a [bleep]ing idiot.
  16. Between the Buried and Me - Alaska (Album)
  17. Haha, now that's just brilliant. : My Physics teacher, as well as my school captain are both pretty big fans of puns, and the captian is in the same class as me. After a while you build up a certain tolerance to the jokes.
  18. There is "emo" and then there is "suicidal emo". And then there's Suicidal/Depressive Black Metal. Most emo kids are depressed? Wanna provide some verifiable evidence to back up that claim? And even if what you said was true, it's not like depression is confined simply to emos anyway, so it's nothing like turning you back on an entire "disease". Oh god yes. :
  19. Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Album) Bloody awesome.
  20. How does listening to music make you depressed? I'm not denying that it's possible, I'm just curious... No matter what I listen to, it always puts me in a better mood. Maybe it's like how listening to Simple Plan makes me lose faith in the human race. Something like that.
  21. I'd say that for a band to technically be deathcore the vocalist would have to employ pig squeels or guttural growls, whereas the vocalist in SlipKnot shouts more than anything else. However, they could quite easily fit on the "lighter" end of the deathcore spectrum. Either way, I still consider deathcore to be metal. That's perhaps more a point of opinion than anything else. Sounds fair to me. Always did remind me of In Flames if they tried deathcore. Slipknot always seemed fake to me though. Sort of like they're not being honest with themselves. What do I care though? Rest of my posts will be trolling people in this topic anyways. The only -core I consider metal is grindcore, but that's probably because where I live. Wow. Not even Nintendocore? Aren't you the little elitist. :) And just wondering, what do you define metal as? Or, why don't you consider the "-core"s to be metal? I'm not going to bother getting in a debate with you about it, because I already have my mind pretty well made up on the subject, but I'd be interested to know your reasoning.
