1 - Slipknot - People = *&^ 2 - Stone Sour - 30-30/150 3 - Slipknot - Wait and Bleed 4 - Stone Sour - Through Glass 5 - Slayer - Raining Blood 6 - Slayer - Bloodline 7 - Stone Sour - Get Inside 8 - Stone Sour - Come What (ever) May 9 - Deicide - Homage for Satan 10- Death Cab for Cutie - I will follow you into the dark. Absolutally horrible list. Doesn't represent my tastes at the moment at all. Here's my Rolling 3 Months Track list 1 - Paul Simon - Father and Daughter 2 - - Fly Away Solo * 3 - Staind - Zoe Jane 4 - Nickleback - Far Away 5 - - Horror Music Idea's 1 6 - In Flames - Acoustic Medley 7 - Amon Amarth - Cry of the Blackbirds 8 - Amon Amarth - Death in Fire 9 - Arch Enemy - Despicable Heros 9 - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside 9 - Dimmu Borgir - Satan my Master 9 - Puretone - Addicted to Bass * I was improvising a solo for a song in my band and I was amazed how great I sounded, so I spent quite a while working out what I did. I unintentionally pulled out some really catchy riffs and spent ages trying to transcribe them. Same with the horror music ideas. I've been leaning towards more acoustic, gentle songs recently. I've been getting into heavy metal again though the last couple of weeks, so I imagine I'll have a more Black Metal based one soon.

I've had long hair for the last two or three years now. Everyone in my close group of friends also does, our PE teacher calls us the Hair Bear bunch/ the Deep Purple Tribute band  Long hair is fun until its so long that it gets in your mouth when you're eating. I'm just waiting till I can throw the lot in a ponytail/ over my shoulder.
  4. That thread hasn't been posted on in the last 3 months. Your 1000k squid fall onto you as you fish, oh dear you are dead.
  5. I'm trying to learn the Solo from Machine Head - Halo. Easier than it sounds but the string skipping is driving me crazy.
  6. Hordanes Land - Enslaved Nice bit of black metal, beauty and the beast going on.
  7. Spent the last year attatched to this thing.
  8. Arch Enemy - Mechanic God Creation.
  9. I probally spend between 5 and 8 hours a day either listening to or playing music. It's a big part of my life and my social life is built around it pretty much (gigging, band practices and my mates happen to be in the bands with me).
  10. I think I have to hate you now. I plan on staying behind after the Black Crusade in Manchester, it'd be brilliant to meet her/ Mike Ammot/ Rob Flynn of Machine Head or maybe the Trivium guys. Speaking of famous people I was in the Yorkshire Post this Saturday, page 3 :P .
  11. I got into the habit of putting on some Andy Mckee (instrumental acoustic guitar) everytime I was doing homework. Might look into some Sunn O)))) for my next lot :D .
  12. Emperor - Wrath of the Tyrant. Good album. The production is a bit poor when compared to Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk.
  13. It's changed a bit since my last post. Cradel of Filth Emperor Lamb of God Moonspell Rage against the Machine My tastes vary from day to day and I've had a very bad week.

Anything but spirits. I made a total idiot out of myself at a party last weekend because of vodka. I was apparently knocking it back like beer. I've made a promise to myself (and my parents) not to touch spirits for two years. So im definately a beer person.
  15. Emperor - The Witches Sabbath 8-) Now thats what I'm talking about. Really good song.
  16. Cradel of Filth - Nymphetamine I've been looking for stuff like this for a long time. The clean vocals and the growls match beautifully. Great music as well.
  17. Look no further. My Zen Micro Photo has been freezing for a while now and finally stopped working about a week ago. I'm in the process of trying to fix it. I'd still recommend them though, if you aren't going to go jogging in it (which was the root of the problem I think).
  18. I think I'm a flat character and that's why... No, you just don't have a signiture and a pretty small avatar. I know your name pretty well but I just can't seem to recall anything you've said.

I asked the same thing a while ago and got a great response. Have a look in this thread. That was an absolute gold mine of new bands for me.
  20. Cleaned off some innappropriate material and spam. The closest I've come to streaking is going down a slide in a swimming pool naked, then running back to the top to collect my trunks.
  21. Stone Sour live at download 2007. That was insane, Corey Taylor spends about five minutes shouting abuse at the audience and in every song Jim is improvising all over the place. Absolutally brilliant.
  22. Mine only ever cracks when I'm attempting to sing or say something in a high voice. I do make a conscious effort to speak with the lower end of my voice most of the time and slowly as people have a problem understanding me when I don't.
  23. That hurt my ears. The Rufus Wainwrite version is the best IMO. I never really pay attention to sound tracks, although I might remember if a film had a good one or not. I liked shreks.
  24. My dad is a massive fan and he took me to see them a while ago. They were absolutally brilliant. I wouldn't say that they are in my top 5 bands right now but of all time - definately. Phoenix is one of my most played songs of all time. Machine Head Lamb of God Tool (in a bizarre twist, I hated them not too long ago) Behemoth Paul Simon
