Foo Fighter's New Album!!
I love how seemlessly they switch between the quite and the heavier bits. David Grohl has the best voice in rock (IMO) and possibly the third best voice overall (coming after Russell Allen of Symphony X and Freddy Mercury - again IMO).

Weather; does it effect your emotions?
If I get caught in really heavy rain, I absolutally love the feeling and usually start singing/ dancing. I also like the weather when its really hot. Basically, the extremes of weather make me happy because of the disruption they cause in a sometimes monotonous life.

Embarrasing moments
Probally someone getting hold of my take on 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. I'm normally fine with people taking this micheal with my cover songs - I know they are bad - but this one was beyond bad. This one was terrible and it was presented in a way that made me seem like a total moron in front of a group of people who weren't close friends and didn't appreciate the funny side of its awfulness.

I-Doser - Getting High, Without Drugs
Spent the last two hours trying this stuff. I don't think it works. It had a bit of an effect earlier but that could have just been my tiredness plus the meditatie state. I'll take mediatating to Sunn O))) anyday over this.

I-Doser - Getting High, Without Drugs
It's essentially the same as meditation IMO. I've done a fair bit of meditation in the past and I got the same feeling from this as I did from the meditation. It was like being inside your own head totally conscious but detatched from everything. Although it did act as a catalyst to getting me to a deep level of meditation.

Guns, knifes and school violence
My school is almost violence free. There has been absolutally no fights (that I've heard of) this year which is pretty amazing for a high school.

What does your username mean? Why did you chose it?
Ragenori Normally shortened to Ragen. It all started on SoMX, the first MMORPG I got into and the first game where you chose your own name. I went through tens of accounts because I kept messing up the stats. Eventually I settled on the Characters (Mage, Skud, Fighter, Priest) - Ragen, Goreth, Fluff and Intwina. I still use all these names on various places over the internet but Ragen is the main one now. The names are all original (except Fluff :P and maybe Goreth seeing as it was my take on Gorgoroth from LOTR) and are also used in a few short stories I wrote when I was thinking about becoming an author.

what is your mood? why? and what are you doing?
Happy Birthday :D Right now, I'm not feeling too good. I had a brilliant Saturday, came 6th in the Under 17's National Championships for epee (fencing) and I should still be feeling good about that. But on Sunday I totally screwed up, coming 66th in the Under 20's. So over the weekend I actually moved down in the ranking system to tenth in the country. I also almost lost my kit, as there was a misunderstanding between me and my dad about who had packed the bag, so I almost lost ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã400 of kit, which kicked my parents up into a massive fuss threatening to not allow me abroad due to my lack of responsibility. If I'm to go to the world championships this Easter I need to be in the top 3, which is a long way away right now. It also means my parents are going to have to pay out upwards of ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2000 to get me to international competitions and nobody seems to want to sponsor me for much. My parents aren't rich and I feel guilty with them spending so much on me. Other areas of my life aren't going to well either, the girl I was going to ask out has been hospitalised with something (she doesn't want to say what), I just had to shell out ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100 for a new fencing mask, my dad accidently burnt a whole in my fencing plastron (another ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã25, he agreed to pick up the rest). My schoolwork almost overran me this weekend as I was so busy fencing and I was up at midnight last night finishing off an inadequate piece of coursework, which really isn't what I want to be doing. I hope to become a doctor one day and I know that I have to work hard to get there. I'm just feeling like I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew at the moment, as if I wont reach any of my goals because I've aimed too high. Oh and I saw someone get killed in a crash this morning, a motorbikist skidded up to a round about as I was going round it on my way to school. Turns out that he was a dad from a guy in the year below me and he died. /end moaning. That felt quite good to get off my chest, it's the first time I've been properly stressed for a good couple of years and I imagine I'll get through it within a week or so. I normally bounce back pretty quickly. Edit - I playing a bit of a sad tune on my guitar  Trying to get a song down while I'm still feeling bad.

Dream Theater - Forsaken Their new stuff is different. Seems a bit rushed but still brilliant. I just wish they'd bring out something heavier.

Long hair
You don't need to keep it dry, just not put shampoo on it. If you were desperate, you could get a shower cap or something. I dry with a towel. Extensively. Then how do you keep it healthy without using shampoo? I find that after coming out of the shower and drying your hair, its wet underneath. You do need to wash it with shampoo occasionally, I think every other day is the best way to do it. As for towel drying technique, I dry it at least three or four times. Shaking out the hair and working around it in different ways. It takes me a good five minutes to properly dry it.

[hide] How can a school have a rule against a hairstyle/length in a modern country? :? Are they going to say "sorry, you can't enter" when you come to school in the morning, because your hair touches your shoulders? That's ridiculous and I hope by 'rule' you meant rather a social rule Well do you think it would be acceptable for people to turn up with skin heads? Or liberty [bleep]es? Yeah... :| I can actually name a few people from high school that had 'skin heads' and 1 or 2 with 'liberty [bleep]es', it was a quite diverse school, not to mention all kinds of dressing styles... It's their choice really, are people who don't conform to 'standards' inferior somehow? Though that was in scandinavia so I have no idea if US schools would scream in horror if a school was fully diverse; I beg to differ as I'm quite aware of the state of high schools/colleges in the US... I don't think schools with uniform requirements even exist in western countries on the exception of US and Great Britain... Not even private ones. I'm nearly 100% sure they don't exist in nordic countries which are highly democratic and free. [/hide] Ok, I guess it's just different around here. The reason we have uniform (what I get told) is to prepare us for the world of work, to make the school look smart and the cut down on the gang culture. In my area we don't have 'real gangs' but we have moshers/ chavs/ emos who all tend to wear the same thing and not really get along. By wearing a uniform people hopefully wont feel the need to join one of the groups and get picked on by the others for it. Hair cuts are just part of the uniform.

Conformity and looking smart is part of some schools. It's why they have uniforms. I don't see why long hair should be banned though, just distracting/ unusual styles.

Post your nerve-wrecking, heart pounding, scary rl stories!
Me and my family were on holiday in spain and it was raining (as usual on my holidays). We stopped (ok screeched to a halt) at a pair of traffic lights as an old lady had stepped out unexpectedly. My mum looks around and says "I hope the car behind us stops". BOOM! We get rammed straight through the junction, missing the old lady by about a foot. The car hadn't stopped. It had plowed into the back of us at about 40mph and smashed both of us up. I was the first to get out the car to check that everyone was ok and I saw a puddle of an oily liquid all around us and the young guys from the other car standing around smoking! I grabbed my sister and ran. Turns out that it wasn't petrol, it was radiator liquid and rain. Anyway we didn't speak a word of spanish so we had to wait for some nice shop owned to come and translate for us.
