My friends tell me off for being too happy :D I regularly get told to stop smiling. Other than being very happy, I swing on any ledges available and/or do a pull up on them as I go past. It's tearing the house apart.

I think I already made a post here, but my taste has changed a bit since then. My music taste has been getting steadily heavier over the last six months (mainly the fault of a friend who keeps on sending me Arch Enemy and Slayer albums) and I'm focusing much more on metal than previously. I still listen to lots of other things but as seen on my Last FM (Damn I love this thing), Slayer, Slipknot and Stone Sour have really taken up most of my music time.

It doesn't require teaching but I think without it you don't progress anywhere near as fast as you could. Also, a good teacher will iron out any bad habits that would later become a problem.

Best advice yet. You wont become a guitar ledgend by teaching yourself. You need someone to get you on the right tracks ie. perfect hand position and technique. Then practice what your tutor teaches you and practice it alot. I'd say at least 2 hours a night.

I wouldn't join the army right now, even the TA. I think that you could be called up for active duty in Iraq/ whereever and I personally would not want to do that. So yes do be worried if that's what you don't want but joining the army, even the TA, always meant a possiblity of active duty. You knew that right?

Chavs arn't nessecarily poor. I deem 'chav' to be a mix of poor fashion sense, bad attitude and general lack of respect for others and property. Some essential chav wear (if not bought on a corner 'second hand') is pretty expensive. Real Fred Perry, Berghaus and Addidas all sell for quite a bit.

:D I'd never say that about you. A panda walks into a restaurant, sits down and orders a pizza. He eats his pizza then pulls out a gun and shoots the waiter dead as he comes over with the bill. Calm as, he stands up and goes to walk out of the resaurant. A sheepish looking manager pokes his head and of his office and yelps "You crazy monster! You just killed my waiter! You can't just do something like that and not pay for the pizza!" The panda gives him one stern look and says, "I'm a panda, look me up in a dictionary" and walks out the door. The manager goes back into his office and opens up his dictionary. Panda - Pan-da: Large black and white mammal. Eats shoots and leaves.

Everything is bad for you if you have to much of it. I'm sure that drinking no more than a three or four cans a week wont affect me at all.

Thats a bad example of hardcore moshing. When you are trying to have a bit of a mosh, you don't want people to be swinging their arms around and kicking randomly into the air. They just make moshing impossible.
