It just takes a lot of time, it's not a question of can they at all it's will they, there's a few downsides ofcourse. They will probably need medical attention or atleast be suffering some sort of illness They will of lost all social skills They will need a psychiatrist to rebuild their self-confidence Basically I think if you went to your GP and told him what you planned to do he'd recommend a less dangerous option, Cyanide.

It's funny how while your playing the game you feel that you couldn't put a value on your account, it's priceless because of all the time you put into it and carry on to do so. I felt the same, but now since i've stopped playing i'd quite happily take £80 for mine and have a good night out.

When I did play, I had two friends from school that also played it with me. So i spoke to them about it, but we kept it quiet from others at school. I found it embarassing for people to know and i'm not afraid to admit that. Why? Because I found it embarassing and shameful that I was spending all this time on something that wasn't going to get me anywhere. It's not a great topic of interest for people who don't play it, I could of been doing things that were interesting to talk about and that I was proud of, but instead i wasted a lot of time. More people know that I USED to play now than who know knew when I DID play. I look back at when I played and see it as one of the biggest mistakes i've made, and so do a few others I know that played it.

[/hide] I'm responding to both of your posts even tho I didn't quote the first...but while you bring up many very good points, you don't seem to realize that the same could be said for anything in life that's not a necessity. Time spent on Rs is no different than time spent at the movies with friends or sitting down playing cards. Yes, there is a difference. Time spent at the movies or sitting down playing cards is socializing with real people. Time spent alone on RuneScape isn't socializing and slowly crumbles your social skills and confidence.

I think it will be another weapon before the Kiteshield. Plus i think if they make a pickaxe they will do a whole update to mining with it, maybe the ability to make dragon armour once the sets have gone down

I agree all these 'Corrupt' items are just overpowering melee more. DVTrainer's got the right idea.

RSHD: Great update. PVP Worlds: Good, but still not the same. GE: Still needs some tweaking! I think now with the choice of Bounty Hunter or PVP Worlds Jagex have literally done all they can to keep the fun and excitement in player killing without reintroducing a lot of the RWT'ing back. I KNOW it's still out there, but it has been minimized. Overall they've done a good job, but I don't find the game nearly as much fun, mostly down to a lack of freedom i think. Which is why i barely play anymore. :/

and 50 Construction, make an Altar and Canifis teleport and Home tele after trips, makes trips much faster. You will also need to of completed Desert Treasure to make the Canifis portal.

I just don't respect Cooking because of how little attention and dedication it requires. It's quite easy to just set-up there and AFK on a console game and occasionally bank, withdraw and cook-X food. Fletching I respect more than Cooking. The stringing takes some concentration and gets me adjitated quite easily. I'm not sure which cape i respect most. Maybe RuneCrafting, but then it has great income that makes it an easy skill to train in some ways. There's something to keep you motivated. Farming is slow, but you can also gain a lot from it. I guess it would be Herblore, you make a loss on pretty much everything you make when buying ingredients. It takes a lot of time and supplies can be hard to come by and I know if you want to do it at a reasonable pace it will cost you 100M+ So for dedication, time and lack of motivational atrributes, Herblore has got to be the most respectable for me. Farming, Runecrafting, and Slayer are probably much slower. But have a very nice perk to them. Income, and lots of it!

Yeah a lot has changed in this game. PK'ing was a pretty big thing for me, but Bounty Hunter isn't actually that bad. The trade limit, well to start off I hated it. But now i realise the reasons and with the Grand Exchange it is so much easier to buy things knowing you aren't getting ripped off or scammed. Some things have changed for the better, some for the worse. Live with the changes or go back to your insanely combat orientated game. #-o

Interesting, more Lunar spells :mrgreen: OT: RWT'ing does still exist. The infamous R2_Pleasent is still selling 100's of Mils, all through Bounty Hunter. So it's still going on, and the Lend Item system will only make it a tad worse.

The only update here that has affected me is the whip. What the hell? I swear Jagex update the whip 3 times a year then have to reverse it due to bad feedback. If they are so keen to update the whip, why not make it black and red like before?!
