  1. Tetris. The first game I ever played on, and still do. It still is one of my favourite games, it's such a simple idea that works so well. (And it's from the USSR too :P)
  2. Looks good, though I doubt I'll get it for a while. Might have a look at the demo though. (I just hope source mods get upgraded to use the newer engine even if you haven't bought the game.)
  3. My personal preference would be an Intel cpu and a Nvidia gpu. I've always found Intel to be more reliable, especially with large loads such as games; and I've found the driver support for Nvidia to be much better than an equivalent ATI card.
  4. You could in theory, but whether or not it could be discussed here is another matter entirely. It's much better to negotiate with the person who set up the filter in the first place than to try and bypass it.
  5. Silly Dracion 1 - Jagex mods dont read tip.it Explain to me then the several posts made by Andrew Gower himself? ;) Anyway, I'd second getting Firefox with ABP. Really gives you a nice boost if you have an old machine or slow internet.
  6. COD4, nearly 2 months ago now. I don't plan on buying much else for a while since I have a large amount of work for As levels atm.
  7. I used to have adverts blocked for a long time in f2p rs too, but that was a Norton feature that was seemingly removed during a 'upgrade' at one point, and I didn't know how to turn it off at the time. Theoretically they have know way of knowing, unless you tell them directly or mods are reading these forums :ohnoes:
  8. PC, since you can use them for things in addition to gaming. I also hate these kind of threads too, more so because there's one every month or so >_>
  9. No. It's estimated that Andrew and Paul Gower (Guys who made the game) were worth £113 Million in 2007. No doubt that figure is even higher now. Your ideas would only reduce the amount of people playing in both p2p and f2p. You haven't even bothered to explain how/why they would work. I suggest you keep your childish fantasies to yourself next time, they will earn you little or no credit here.
  10. Dracion was something I made up; it doesn't have anything to do with draconian or drac, which happens to be catalan for dragon. My original account, Dracion, died and lost all his stuff, so I made a new account using the creative name of dracion1 >_<.

I think someone may have finally found a use for this picture:
  12. I've always thought Macs to be better for people who are more 'artsy' minded, which Mould probably explain why I don't like them that much. That's not to stay anything a Mac can do a PC can't do...
  13. I suppose another good strategy game is Sins of a Solar Empire. A word of warning though, games can take ages to finish :P.
  14. I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding what you mean. Are you trying to make a picture you made into the desktop background? If you are (and I'm assuming you're using windows), right click on the picture file, and click "select as desktop background" or similar.
  15. Just because NOD32 doesn't detect it doesn't make it unreliable. No anti-malware program has a 100% detection rate. Never has done and I'd give it a 99.99% chance that it never will do.
  16. Piriform Recuva (same people who make Ccleaner and Defraggler) is a good free tool I've used to recover stuff before. Also what do you mean pay $40 to get back a 5 page word document? Is whoever deleted it charging you to get your work back?
  17. This looks good. I will try it sometime, except my net sucks for downloading large files :/. That's a separate thing based on the flash version map pack. I tried this a while back, it's also quite a bit harder than the original in places. I think you need Half Life 2 for it though.
  18. [hide=One of these, same colour][/hide] Image fix'd.
  19. "It's not a bug it's a feature" I also get this, but personally I like it and see no good reason to remove it.

Just how much money are EA going to try and squeeze out of this damned game? :/
  21. There was an achievement on SPORE to have one of your creatures banned; it was removed on the last patch though.
  22. PC: Synergy Gba: Tetris DX
  23. I'm sorry, what are you on about? What do you mean about a 'resources' folder? What are these brushes? Your message doesn't make a great deal of sense. Before anyone can help, a few things need to be established: [*:w6wen47z]What is this said folder, and what do you want to use it for? [*:w6wen47z]What is the error message you get? [*:w6wen47z]Are you a 'computer administrator', using the 'administrator' account or are you using a 'limited/standard account? [*:w6wen47z]Other info that might be useful
  24. Firefox 3. Might have a look at 3.1b though.
  25. Make sure you have cookies set to accept and that tip.it isn't blocked from the list. To check, go to tools > options > privacy, and make sure the boxes are ticked; and tip.it isn't on the list as block.
