I never get a low speed because I've got unlimited (although the speed is only 0.5Meg). I've convinced my parents to upgrade soon though.

Are you accepting cookies from the site? If you're not you won't be able to login. To check to go Tools > Options > Privacy and make sure Accept cookies is checked.

They confirmed the Heavy is the next class to get achievements on teamfortress.com . No idea what the updates are, but it's probably going to be a good time to be a medic with lots of heavies around.

Have you tried updating DirectX/OpenGL? That can sometimes help.

Many people are still downloading the client, and the game is especially laggy in the larger cities. Give it a few days/a week or two and most of the lag should have cleared up.

Download the latest java from java.com and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. It's not the resolution, fullscreen has worked fine on my laptop (which has intel onboard graphics) at a variety of standard and widescreen resolutions. You might also want to make sure you are using the latest version of your browser. Also, anti aliasing will probably be set to off with no option to change it if your card doesn't support it.

Works fine for me on my ATI Radeon X600. Hit Print Screen, and paste into GIMP with no problems.

I agree with pretty much all that you said, but can you please use hide tags! Most people use resolutions lower than yours and it's annoying having to have the page layout screwed up.

JaGex have stated that the behind the scenes will be released next week when the hype for the new graphics dies down.

Are you using the latest version of Java/Each broswer? Try upgrading them, and that should help.

I've noticed recently that the size of my MFT file has increased dramatically over the past week to about 5GB+. I know that normally this is used for system restore, but I have this set to the minimum level, as I normally back my data up using DVDs (I think it's more secure). Is there anything else I can to lower the amount of space it takes up? My laptop seems to do fine on <0.5GB so why does my PC need so much? Many thanks :)

It's bogus, probably someone got mixed up with overclocking which is increasing the speed of your CPU by increasing the power supply. Doing this can be dangerous and result in parts of your pc melting and/or catching fire. The best thing you can do if the game won't work for you if your graphics card is lacking in power, is buy a new one. This thread has some cheap examples.

Have you tried a different browser? IE, Swiftkit and the RS Client are actually the same (the last 2 are just modified version of IE). If that doesn't work, check that you haven't got a firewall or something blocking access to the site.

Seen many threads about this in Bugs and Suggestions. Mine's at 106% and in the bank until the fix is released.

I got so peeved by this I actually sent the complainer an email (using the inbuilt site feature) about how it was her own fault. Some people never seem to learn and are to lazy to do so, even when there is an obvious parent's guide on the main website.

Or you can get 25% of the stuff for free, and both allow you to create as many creatures as you want. There seems to be a lot of pikachus on youtube.
