  1. my mom hates it but since I have straight A's she can't seriously complain whenever I mess up it is without a doubt because I play rs though... "CARL YOU FORGOT TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH!? MY GOD YOU ARE OBSESSED WITH THAT GAME!" - really lol
  2. I don't see why it should, sara is pretty easy anyways lol.
  3. sweet man, glad you finally did it I'm on 300 soloes atm, had 4 rarer than hilt drops lol you are my inspiration
  4. oops forgot to poke we gwd anyways? meant to get this soloing but I felt like slaying instead lol went on a 3 man trip, ended after less than 3 hours, not even halfway through our supplies but we had to go :|
  5. Did a lot of soloing, I've broken 250 kills (maybe even 300 now) and only gotten a sword and a shard off zil in terms of drops. Also went on a 4 man range trip today. we only had to go because metoo died and dinner was ready. got this while helping him get kc I might not have noticed if bpk didn't point it out lol
  6. I posted this mainly because I thought it was interesting... normally the only things you can see from dungeons are other nearby dungeons, which is obviously not the case here It looks like a boat with a cannon sticking out the side to me, which would make it either part of a quest, or (if you want to be controversial) part of an upcoming update, with sailing obviously coming to mind. I'm skeptical of that though, didn't jagex say sailing wasn't a skill? Of course they said the same thing about summoning, meh :P oh by the way, you'll note that isn't my name
  7. come hilt farming pls
  8. this is probably spam but oh well :P one of my friends was training his pure and saw an area across from him in the stronghold of security... like you do in dungeons the only thing I could think of that it might be is a boat from a quest (cabin fever maybe) or could it be new content that we'll see soon?
  9. I wonder what monster hunting would be like in pvp worlds... obviously very dangerous, but probably not too crowded hehe. If there are some LS pvp worlds I wouldn't be surprised to see teams of people doing bandos in welfare gear in a pvp world due to the enormous crowds in non-pvp.
  10. FAIL JIMMY you resized it to 1% by 1%, meaning that red square is actually 1%^2, or 0.01%. you should have resized it to 10% by 10% which would make the red square 10%^2 or 1%. I did it for you :P note that this is 10% includes the black areas and whatever so it's actually about 50% smaller but I think that by 99% they simply meant "most of the world"
  11. I listen to music and read if what I'm doing is afkable (I am usually at gwd so this does not happen often :P) don't browse forums because i get whitescreened, computer can't handle movies/youtube with rs either
  12. thanks mike, and ilu simon yeah I've figured that out about half keys now lol didn't play much today, I got kc for a solo trip I'll do tomorrow
  13. And so they could be. However, that's too many storylines to fit in to one quest, isn't it? Consider: the only ones who have stepped into the Stone of Jas picture are Lucien, Wizard Elriss, the Wise Old Man, and Juna (you could consider the cave goblins as well, but they're geographically related and that seems to be it. The elves have good reason to step in, and I believe they will, but they haven't been linked YET.) That's enough storylines wrapped into a quest that advances them (RFD took half the lines across the map, but it didn't do anything with any of them.) Something can happen with these four characters that doesn't involve everybody. Guess I overdid it lol. In regard to the cave goblins though, didn't Zanik have some bizarre connection to guthix/the tears of guthix cave? About the white/temple knights: the only relation they have with this whole mess is being religious. And isn't everybody in Runescape mildly religious? About the scabarites: the only relation THEY have with this is being religious (see above) and being in the same general area as a few unrelated Mahjarrat. The elves have been revealed to be ressurecting Zaros (he is the Empty Lord, isn't he?), AND they are also revealed to be looking for a source of power. I believe that that is stronger connection with the rest. (Note: perhaps there is a Mourner-Arposandra-Meiyerditch link, as has been hinted in a few ways, but it doesn't seem that it'll be tied into the Stone of Jas, unless the Mourners look for the Stone as a power source to summoning Zaros.) Good point about white knights/scarabites. Zaros is the Empty Lord, but I was not aware of any elves mentioning it... I think I remember a Dark Lord being mentioned, which I assumed was Zamorak or some other entity entirely. If they do mention it somewhere then yeah that would be him. As long as the elves of Priffindas are involved, it wouldn't be that great a leap to say that the Mourners are, since the Mourners are the elves of Priffindas. I don't think this quest would be terribly relevant to Ardougne/the temple of light though. The connections between the elves and the gnomes, as well as the elves and the vampires are foggy at best... especially if the elves ARE trying to summon zaros which would put them at odds with the vampires who follow zamorak. That cart thing is the only connection between elves and vampires that I'm aware of, and it could have just been a bug. In regard to the gnomes, we know they have some elvish technology and are responsible for the giant swamp south of Isafdar... is there anything else?
  14. As I said, easy Requirements, I hope they make something like 85 (possible 90?) Herblore, same with Prayer and maybe something like 80 Runecrafting, 80 Slayer and maybe 85 Summoning? Something really "good" for completing all of it obviously, I hope they don't say "high reqs" and have Level 75 or 80, that'd just be a "normal" requirement in my eyes. 90 herblore costs 30m+ lol. You have very unrealistic expectations. Don't say it's free if you farm it either, then what you are doing is making money by farming and spending the money on herblore. Quests are not meant to be only for the elite of runescape. In regard to the quotes above me, LORD DRAKAN was a follower of ZAMORAK as is stated in the ghostly robes miniquest. I believe the only mahjarrat that follow Zaros that we currently know of are Azzandra and the guy who fought Enahkra in her temple (I can't remember his name, the camel guy). Anyways, this whole speculation around the stone of jas seems to be the basis for what we think the quest will be, and probably rightly so. We know that wizards/forces of saradomin maybe are hunting for it, and that Lucien is hunting for it. Lucien believes it to be in the lumbridge cave network. We know that the wise old man is spying on the wizards. Therefore it is highly likely that the Dorgeshuun, the Wise Old Man, and the Mahjarrat will be involved. Drakan (myreque storyline), Azzandra (DT storyline), Enahkra and her rival (kind of related to DT but not exactly storyline), and Hazeel (his single absurdly easy quest doesn't count as a storyline lol) are all Mahjarrat, and so could be involved. Some other possibilities are the white knights, as share allegiance with the wizards (although it seems that only one wizard may be involved), and the scarabites (well they live in the desert, which is where the mahjarrat come from lol). If we throw in the white knights it's possible but highly unlikely that the slugs will be involved. The only connection to the elves I could think of is the examine of a mine cart in the dark beast area that says (or maybe used to say, idk) "for playing daeyalt ore in" which would tie them in if Drakan is involved. That may have only been a bug because they used the same graphical model of a mine cart in the dark beast area as in the daeyalt mines in meiyerditch. Anyways I think it was removed. I don't speculate about what we do in the quest itself as that is stupid and entirely impossible to figure out. I'll leave it to jagex. :P I think the topic poster should put what we've figured out in the first post so we don't get redundant information.
  15. noob lol, I haven't had one whip yet :( slayer ftw
  16. I don't mind the shard as it was from a mini, and that's about the best drop I'd expect from one. The rune sword (missed because my printscreen program phailed again) is another rarer than hilt drop though. I'd share details of my soloes but I don't remember much lol. One one trip I got 16 kills thanks to a brew drop or 2, in the end I teled with 20 hp because I made the foolish decision of running back to pick up the bolts the accumulator missed, because I only had 8 left (I take 500 a trip now). Would have been 17 otherwise, I teleported with her almost redbarred... annoying. Did a team trip or 2 or 3 as well, no drops.
  17. If it's any comfort, he might have been muted too.
  18. I'm not exactly a hardcore pvper, but I will be very interested to see how this update will work
  19. Well one of the most recent hints was the dialogue with the wizard in the runecrafting guild about the eye of saradomin (aka stone of jas) so that probably ties in. Since Lucien has people hunting for it in Dorgesh-Kaan there's the potential to tie in the Mahjarrat series and the Dorgeshuun series. Since the wise old man is spying on the wizards tower he might be involved as well. I can't think of any ways the elves, vampires, or slugs could tie in off the top of my head though.
