So you're against something that has worked well (at least to my understanding) somewhere else, but because it's someone else's idea, it won't be a good addition here. More or less, it's keeping up with the competition. If site A thinks up something good would it not make sense for site B to look at it and adapt it to keep up with site A? Welcome to the General Forums. But that is what General is. What it has always been. Or am I wrong? Go look in the back pages of General. Whenever a new skill, or new items, or anything is promised in a BTS, or hinted by Jagex, people are going to thrive on it. It's not a cycle, it's a phase.

And because we see only polls by the staff, or the odd poll by the user every several of months, there is no reason this needs to be done for polls mainly, because if there were good poll idea's, there'd have been a lot more.

So you think having theories, and futuristic problems, or events aren't discussing something? If your mad that the forum is flooded about summoning, then you've obviously missed the fact Jagex tried to do this with 'hyping up summoning and it's release' clearly shown in their dev diaries. Was it just me, or was a few weeks ago, someone made a theory about Jagex taking out the wild, with replacements, and wait, that happened? As well, most of those summoning threads have pretty decent evidence in them, as well as logical thinking in the ones about the date of release, hence the calender in one of the pictures of the dev diary? Unless you think that's not evidence? Your ranting, not suggesting. The only that needs to be changed is regular one line posters, or +1 posts, the threads in General, if they were interesting for the users, would they go past 60 posts? or even go past four pages? That's a clear indicating the users enjoy, and are interested in those threads.

Yea, are you providing pre-made CSS, or lay-out designs? Or are you making graphics for CSS/Lay-outs/Backgrounds?

And how many non-harmful, good mature (or at least contributing) users get annoyed, and go to RSC, or some other forum since they have the brains to post pictures when they want @ select forums on RSC, or other RS fansite forums? They do, but I think the point is the forums is a more of a direct way in doing things, and many more people use the forums for corrections then the main site, but then again I have no idea, just going from his post.

Only problem that may rise is when any mod locks a topic relating to the BTS, when the true point is a theory from the BTS. I know mod's will be able to know the difference, but what will the difference be, between discussing the BTS (in the pinned topic), and then between theorizations from the BTS? Oh, and those pinned topics could become an issue.

This would probably bring more activity to the thread if it's pinned. Users have to first visit that forum first, before going to General. May be better to pin the BTS post in General, even if General doesn't need anymore stickys. -.-
