As the unofficial I-hate-dgs to Dung Smith liaison, this hurts me. Not everybody is free to smith for you all the time. Probably because of all the newbs wanting marmarous mauls. I still have an order in for one, btw. In dgs, there are quite a few smiths who will be happy to smith you 2hs or platebodies assuming you ask them nicely. I haven't turned down anyone, yet.

So when shooting a demon, you ONLY get he hexhunter boost, and nothing from your desperado ring? That's pretty lame... Na, the way hex work is that it gives you a range level for every mage level your opponent has, but desperado gives you a percentage to your own range levels, thus, the basis is that sniper does stack with hexhunter bonus, bot desperado only does so for bosses. Had some banana floors with Tui today, trying for some faster floors. First one wasn't a complete map as noone could pot up to 104 agil, but it didn't seem as thee were too many doors left unopened. No battle mage on this floor(noone got it), was a nice one though. Last floor everyone overloaded at the start and i keyed a beast floor while Tui obviously ragequit. All keys were done but i couldn't bother opening the last door.

Occoult+x usually means an occoult floor over f42, most likely 45, or even a 45-47 row. People say low occoult when advertising the lower floors(36-41). For warpeds, it usually means the highest warped floor the whole team can do, so likely 48-51, higher floors are advertised more specifically. The plus number in the advertisement means how many people are still needed for the floor. Oh, and TF@@@@@ means a thunderous row, if anyone still didn't know

at 20% boost in str ring isn't enough for you? That costs a lot of Dung tokens and I honestly forgot that they are upgradeable. Maybe make some lesser ones that are F2P instead? So they could get some use. Lol, there already are useful rings, amulets, boots and gloves. It's not jagex'es problem you don't want to pay for them. It's highly doubtful the new bind would be f2p aswell, and i honestly can't see that mattering with the ease of access to all f2p items(there aren't many items that are hard to get).

Can't really get too much information from the list as you'd need atleast 10 floors per person to make any meaningful conclusions, as it depends on the other teammates alot aswell, but the list does show that Jimi, Matt and Mike work really well as wingmen for you(as you'd expect, anyway).

You should use both weapons about equally, or slightly favoring the rapier, actually. Th important thing it to go into gd's, spot the monsters weak to you(stab weak first, really low def second) and use 2h after you are done with rapierable monsters. Oh, and loot from today. Didn't have too much luck with the dungeons themselves, most of them were just slow with lots of gd's, but with Mike getting a hex and the dgs pros having a hex for basically every floor, was able to snatch quite a few titles: Total was 9 floors, 7 berserkers(one was grimy keying, the other austin as the second hex), 5 battle mage, 4 duos pictured. I think those lower dps times might be really hard to get as you not only need the keyer to be excellent, floor plan to be simple and there to be little gd's, and few gd's means it's a crapshoot for the dps titles.

Extra Bind Slot
I don't think a main bind would be overpowered in any way unbalanced for dungeoneering if it came in the range of 65-80 dungeoneering- what people need is variety in the binding system, not to make dungeons easier, and alot of the binds would do just that. As most of us know, alot of experienced, but perhaps not the smartest(mostly from 3bo) bind defense over everything, thus the extra bind wouldn't help them at all(the difference between just plate and plate and legs is quite small), while people who know what they are doing(designated DPS, keyers) can add useful weapons to their arsenal(for the stupidity, just watch the 120k fishing xp an hour vid and marvel at the combination of hex+platebody, he can't even begin to think his thigat shortbow(which it is in c1's) might not be the best of weapons to use). As for the nerf of c2's, it's really not that bad, as you can still get around 70-80k fishing xp an hour getting your c1's done, or it's still the fastest fishing xp in game if you have a partner to do it with. Woodcutting is actually very much underrated in c2's, and if you have a primal hatcet bound, getting up to 140k xp an hour is very much feasible even now, but if you combine the two skills, you'll likely still get much better overall xp than doing pines/barb fishing separately. By the way, people don't do necro floors anymore, so getting necro around once in 2 resets is pointless to even consider.

It's definitely not true that the ranks don't take people below f45, but it will definitely get much easier at 89 dg. Part of the reason is that DGS is primarily meant to get people to dg well and go far, and not reach frosts or a rapier at 80 dg- thus it's quite fair to ask 89+ for most floors(the initial req was 90 dg, btw, anyway, so that level will definitely help). At 89 dg, there should be no problem doing all occoults with dgs.

"Your extreme potion has been reset"
It's meant to be that way and no respectful person with 85 herblore goes there anyway. If you want to, use prayer potions.

You have to find the right time to dg, daytime(atleast for europeans) is for c1/c2. On the note of c2's, still researching the extent of the nerf, but it seems to be around 75% of the original xp, so still a great way to do your c2's.

I was doing the tank method just fine last night? :???: It seems they fixed and the de-fixed the method in short succession. I'm 100% sure they used to be able to push you away from the tank point for a while, but yeah, who cares, you only have to do like one necro every two resets(TF for life).

Guide to efficient dungeoneering C2 fishing/skilling. {wip}
As far as i'm told, it's a 25% cut, so still 75% as good, which is still good enough if you do both fishing and wcing, duo or do them as c2's.

I am very much pro 2h, but the difference of tier just can't be underestimated. I would never tell anyone to bind baxe over 2h at 113, but i'll definitely do that for people with 89 that are already good at DPSing. The point is, the only place where the 2h is better(or significantly better) is monsters with slash weakness and high melee def, and there really aren't alot of those monsters around(t11 rangers and mages, higher leveled demons, ghosts and some unragered bosses are as much as i can recall) and alot of those should be maged anyway, thus, on a team with a hex, baxe is definitely the better weapon, and it is just as good or slightly worse otherwise, assuming you don't have primal gauntlets or blood necklace. As for maging, it's undeniable that having a one handed weapon does increase your speed, and as i've yet to see consistent perfect switches from even the best of DPSers(like mike), i will always see that as an advantage for the baxe. A baxe really doesn't have problem taking berserker title from someone with the same tier 2h, as i've seen time and again. I've also had major problems turm/ss flicking with 2h as it's slow as hell(i'm almost perfect at 2.4 second flicks, but suck as the rate goes slower).

It's called a DPS calculator. In any case, under 50% accuracy, str and attack bonuses are equal, but over that, str bonuses will always be better(to the point at which attack bonuses are useless, while str bonus will always have the same effect).

Extra Bind Slot
I think most of us thought it was coming out with ROTM anyway, or so did i atleast. Inb4TITSTOTSBACON. But yeah, you are not the only one who worked for their 100+ dg, and the extra bind really affects those more who already have 3 binds.

Apart from the fact that you'd be better off binding sagit body and making grave short(takes no time), it's not worth it really. The tiers of shortbows basically suck real bad due to having same max damage output, and having a ranger without a hex doesn't help the team too much(meleers will pile mages anyway so you'll have little to range).

It's a tossup whether you want the 7 stab or the 4 strength between the brackish/korasi, but I'd lean towards strength. For most everything, 4 str is better, and never forget that the korasi sword has a great spec. It also doesn't matter alot as both weapons require as much questing as a rapier would, thus rendering both useless for training purposes. Also, for slayer, zamorakian spear is also better than it. Thus, yeah, the new weapon has no use.

Apart from the fact that baxe is both a better slash and crush weapon, it does.

It does change, and i don't think many bother memorizing what color goes for what rank as it doesn't particularly help you(i think the leader is red, but that's as far as i know about them).

there is no absolute proof of this, but as there are different advantages to either weapon(t11 mages on one side and lower def on the other). If there are hexes on your team, i'd definitely say baxe is better than you are pro at flashing, but otherwise a 2h is slightly better or equal for melee dps, but most people do lose mage dps with 2h. promethium 2h is still 6.4% better than primal battle axe on forgotten rangers tier 11 assuming perfect turmoil flashing, and 13.4% better on tier 11 mages assuming perfect turmoil flashing. But I'd find it pretty ironic that one would be willing to turmoil flash an entire floor just to save themselves the trouble of equipping a surgebox. everyone should always be turm flicking anyway. It's basically a must. Switching to csb with 2h requires staff, second flick csb, second click autocast and second click quickswitch, that all in 3 different tabs. Baxe is around 9% better against no defense and is always a better crush weapon, anyway.
