Extra Bind Slot
3:3-5:5 mediums are best, but you've got to have some friends to help. If we do get another bind, i'm sure there will be alot of people helping eachother out on the binds, and i'll be smithig some armor/weapons in dgs. To have the highest chance for the item, always do the right floors- 18-20 for rapier, 15-17 for cele cat and 6-8 for prim gauntlets(quit if you get the wrong boss). Of those three, rapier is hardest to get(you have 33% for the right boss, where as you have over 50% chance for the right boss for the other two).

Any accuracy or strength boost works better for the faster weapon, and as you should be piety/tum flashing the whole floor anyway(in which case the weapons are totally equal) i'd definitely say baxe. You also have a higher mage dps with baxe, but that's only slight.

Primal helmets are incredibly rare. Not only is the boss like 5% for floors 30-35, the chance for helm may be as low as 1:30, or even lower. I've never seen one, for example(and i've seen countless solo c6 t11 items).

I think chee matt and obt did one c6 med with me for my prim rapier. Meds are definitely the way to go. Smalls suck bad for t11.

I had only one occoult left last reset and had just gotten a blood neck, so i needed a baxe. Not only did i get thunderous on f45, i also got them baxe drop to myself.

GL on being clueless. An overload timer is needed for you to know when you can brew, not when overload runs off, as that is more or less useless.

I'm not too sure about primal gauntlets to be honest. It's easy to say that you will have around 8% better dps against everything you melee with gaunts, however, the boost your get from rapier is highly fluid, being around 12%(against baxe, over 15% over 2h) against minimal defense and making hellhounds, brutes and demons melee worthy. Perfect case scenario, the DPS-ers should be split between those options and some hex setups there aswell. A high level black demon is a joke if you have 2 rapiers. I might first try out gaunts and see how well that works(still in the process of researching 2h vs baxe with neck and prayers).

Well, judging by the fact that they are arguing about the hex hunter bow, likely the rarest weapon in game(might be zaryte, but that will change) and two of the people actually have/have had the bow, it's pretty fair to say this isn't even an argument. Gava got e-hurt and is trying trying to e-thug the so called elitist community into not being aggressive toward idiots. Nothing new in here.

It's a corpsetorn shortbow against enemies with level 0 mage, which is most of the monsters. There is no way you can have a hex as the only weapon you use unless you key, perhaps.

Staff doesn't go great with necklace. I don't see why this combination fails, though. The Necklace gives a magic bonus in addition the attack and strength bonuses and you still get the passive effect of it, and when you need to use your melee weapon it will help with that, too. The way I see it, with a hood, staff and 2h, a necklace will help more than anything else. A sag body may give defense, but it'll make both forms of offense weaker, especially compared to a necklace. You are sacrificing 20+ attack with both melee and magic and 11 strength by using a sag body over a necklace. Not going great with and failing are very different. The reason why it doesn't go great with it is because you'll have like 30 mage attack bonus anyway and the added 8 is basically useless, and as you'll be attacking from range, you lose out on the special effect aswell. For melee however, the dps boost is really high and the spec helps alot more aswell. As for plate+leg bind.... what the hell are you tanking while dpsing? nothing, that's it. DPS'ers with defensive binds are basically [cabbage] teammates by default(unless they mostly key, ofcource, and rarely dps).

Overkill loss
Uhm... basically only grimy of all the rs players has researched this further, and i don't think even he got very far with it(atleast he wasn't able to get it into dps calc) and as you have personal contact with him, i see no reason for this topic. Also, basically, the overkill damage depends on your max hit and the monsters lp, but not anything else.

I can assure you that most people with knowledge have an attitude about misconceptions about that knowledge. Thus, you'll be advised to be competent and speak about what you know, and if you do interpret something based on logic or others knowledge, say so at the beginning and say that that may very well be false. Otherwise yeah, you'll get flamed as the stupid person you likely would be in that kind of situation. Getting defensive about it is likely the worst thing you can do as you aren't even arguing for anything but not calling you what you are.

Yep, tui blasted me with 2 berserkers again so i went desperate and got t10 berserker. If this doesn't work and we get no extra bind, i'm going to need a razor blade

Even if there was no maximum accuracy(as there is no maximum damage), i'd like to know the 3 weapon binds anyone has to justify their tactician ring. If you don't, forget about it. I wanna take a guess a this.... Warhammer Longsword maul ....? So the 3 worst weapons? Wrong. Pickaxe Hatchet Dagger You'd need a weapon for every style so it'd be: rapier longsword warhammer it's just too bad baxe is a batter slash and better crush weapon than longsword/warhammer.

Have you read the dgs guidelines(as i have seen you there for time and again). And yes, this goes for 90% of everyone else at dgs aswell. READ THEM

I have what, 17m dg xp and seen only one, maybe 20 edimmus total, and if you weren't a keyer i wouldn't even have this neck. And lmao at having prim maul with tact. Kind of makes sense to need more accuracy on a weapon with the highest attack bonus in game.

It's pointless. Once everyone will get 89 dg(real dg only beging at 86 anyway for dgs, as it seems), thus, with a less than 5% likelyhood of grave, who cares? just use melee as it is better(unless you have max mage, but you don't). He is basically a ranger anyway, so i don't see the point of maging him because of lack of skill(in which case you should just get better).

The problem is, if you have ragered him, melee will absolutely rape grave, and if you have a team who is competent enough to bless a tombstone each(preferably all the center ones and 2 at doorway) before gating out(which really isn't necessary) there is absolutely no reason to mage grave apart from the last ko hit. What if someone were to say, have a Cele Cat staff bound, and had fire runes made? Would them maging the boss be acceptable? What if no ragers get made (which DOES happen quiet often from my experiences)? What if your team isn't competent? What if you only do 45-47 rows  ?

There are no requirements but for 45 defense. If you have the best binds available to you(and possibly a hood, which would be very important for lower levels on high level teams) there shouldn't be much problem getting into any teams. That said, if you are a lower level and act like it(never tanking any monsters and always running away from everything) there is a high likelihood keyers will not want you on their team.

Boss hunting for beginners?
The nex hunters are basically a right hand to DGS, but obviously they require decent starting money/stats/knowledge.

It's true you will get more xp for doing a higher floor for a lower one, but most of the time, the difference will not be high enough to matter for you to take on harder bosses. I took your information from your pictures(got prestige xp for 53,55,57 and 58) and you will get 256 times multiplier xp more per floor you do higher than the one that gets ticked off, thus if you did f58 for f48 you would get 10*256*1,38(average mult without death) = 3,5k xp more for the floor than you would, but i'm fairly or completely sure you'd rather do any of the first 3 bosses than spend time/deaths on gorger/kalger(i haven't done either, obviously, but i hear they are harder). The xp loss, however, for doing a lower floor for higher, is much, much more significant.
