  1. As i've got a blood necklace now and can't particularly dream of hex hunter(seriously, it would seem that most of the people posting they'd bind one have no idea about its rarity: you might not get one getting 120 dg), i'd likely go all out on melee DPS, plus getting t10 berserker as fast as possible. So for the binds: Hood Necklace Primal Rapier Primal Battleaxe/Prom 2h CSB as ammo Not yet decided in whether baxe or 2h will be best, but i will have to do some testing+ dps calculating on that. As far as i can see, with blood neck and piety activated(turm flicking is basically the same as original piety boost), you'd only lose out on really, really high def, which you shouldn't likely be meleeing anyway, and not having to reequip csb boosts my magic DPS(i lose blazer because i can't switch 3 weapons, autocast and quickswitch quickly enough with 2h). At 113, i'll obviously be getting Primal 2h. I'd also like to note that i don't see enough love for cele cat staff on this thread, as you can be very effective going into gd's and just taking on the really high melee def monsters(199 ghosts, 299 fire giants) and maging them quickly to death with t9 blazer/t10 blitzer, cele cat and fire surge. Vex, i had a solo soulgazer in a dungeon you keyed so you've basically seen atleast one
  2. Past T9 gatherers isn't really worth it, unless you a lot of excess tokens on hand. t10 gath would really be a massive waste unless you have the reset. As for snaping, It really seems absolutely impossible for me with all the stuff i have to carry- looting chests, mining ores, all the puzzles(there is no realistic way for me to drop any tools unless grimy is keying), thus i think it would be better for snaping to be done with otherwise low stats, having a packed toolbox and a few tools on the side(the few most important ones like hammer, pick) so you could really go all out and make strong melees for the whole team.
  3. Yep - Congratulations to our newest ranked keyer, Vexn! Big congratz to vex. Fastest learner? surely.
  4. Or you just do bosses that don't need food. With enough ragers, most if not all bosses can be done without food.
  5. Improved? perhaps only if you have no memory, and then you can't dg anyway. Also, i'm sorry to ask this, but who or what did golvellius gate?

don't need but it's a legit excuse to have one. Inb4everykeyerhas2defensifebinds :ohnoes:

I think that is the most important reason- while it's a great 3rd+ bind for around 60-80% of people(those who very rarely key), it can only be binded after getting 100 dg, and 100 dg didn't use to be as common as it is now. For dps-ers i'd say it's the best 3rd bind available, before a rapier, cele cat staff or even primal gauntlets.
  8. Actually, my tip, as i've done alot of them now is to see the right combination and run there, but NOT click, wait for the colour change(very high likelyhood it will be the same) and click on it. The window of time to click is too small(around 2 ticks, max) for you to run to a flower and click, nowadays. It's definitely a much easier room nowadays. As for grimys latest results, you expect alot from your team and are likely the best keyer if you have an elite team(2 hexes, everyone gates like a pro, good wingmanning), but with an unexperienced team or teams without hex, your tactics don't work aswell as they do for some other keyers. Though it's true that babying people isn't always the best, the keyer marking monsters for skill doors or calling names for gating can be very effective. I also find that the keyer carrying ggs after getting everyone to ggs for gd can be very effective for getting high level skill doors done fast(not a problem with high stats, obviously).
  9. Not really, as the advantage is small. You gain a much bigger advantage by doing certain floor for their bosses(most ranks in dgs like doing occoults as all 45+ as yk and spoiler are the easiest bosses), at the same time, as not alot of people that too high dungeoneering level and the first 4 warped bosses are much easier than the last two, alot of people do warpeds as 48-53. Also, most people skip all the necro floors(i think they are like 38-40) because necro is a much slower boss than all the others unless you have a hex, and then you should still do yk and spoiler.
  10. It's a bit unclear as of now as the data we have gotten is a bit inconsistent, but you get a little more xp for doing f40 for f39 than you would for doing f39 for f39(the prestige xp is higher, base the same). But then you do a lower floor for a higher floor(can only happen when you have all the lower ones done) you will get the right amount of prestige xp, but the base(lower number) will be that of the lower floor, thus you lose alot more xp that way than you can gain by doing higher for lower(prestige is almost constant and changes little, base changes ALOT depending on the floor).
  11. laws are bound, hatchet and fishing gear is due to me doing c2's for the nice xp in fish+wc. :P Bug is 2nd stone being charged at the last possible moment, it charges it but stomp heals and it doesnt count, it stays lit up afterwards^ You should break your laws for cosmics and plate for hatcet for c2's(that takes like 3 minutes). When you are done with c2's(you can do 2 sets of c2's with those binds) you can just get new laws and smith a prom plate until you get prim(the difference between prim and prom plate is tiny compared to the difference between novite and prom hatchet).
  12. You have laws and a novite hatchet and don't drop enough stuff? Stomp is massively bugged anyway, got to have a blood neck for that
  13. Hey, thanks for the picture, i really appreciate it. It's honestly my style to not label graphs and describe them in text, as i find it gives people a better understanding of whatever i'm trying to explain- they can't just look at the graph, they have to rad the text behind it. You should actually wear armor and have the leatherbody in your inv too. Drop the coins, they just take up space. Attacking, what? He is like a brother to all of us, we are just playin games  As for this in f2p, i think the xp rates are also lowered by f2p triangle being less balanced, but it's plausible that it's the best f2p wcing and fishing xp too.
  14. Also i don't think it's actually a rushing clan. It's a normal dungeoneering clan as all the others. The same thing as you mention that you aren't rushing, not the other way around.
  15. Yeah, funny story time. Though this is a picture thread, i've only really paid attention to it for the last ~6 months, though i do post here quite often, i've never actually posted ANYTHING that should actually be on topic. Funny times, these, but i usually just can't bother to take pictures of my achievements as i just don't deem them worthy, and neither really does this one qualify(it would basically have to be solo ely/div, duo/trio nex item, maxing out dg or max total). So yeah, i've decided to do myself a favor and stop mooching this thread without posting any pictures, so here goes: As you may have seen already, Mike sniped a neck from just under my nose, and though i didn't think it would be fathomable to get the neck any time soon, i was lukcy enough to join the million other DGSers who have gotten one in the last few days. I also achieved 102 dungeoneering in that dungeon, and helped both vex and Mike toward their big milestones(100; 113 dg respectively). From 90-102 dg i've only done floors with DGS teams(there may have been randomers from 148 or 3bo, but core has always been DGS), so that's something to celebrate aswell. Getting real close to t10 berserker now, but will be using all tokens on xp the rest of the way. Should get done with rc and fishing within a month, so then only 2 skills remain for normal maxed total, though i expect to achieve 120 dungeoneering before that. Only 37 to go, wish me luck. Also, it seems my little experiment of 2 melee weapons is over for now. Inb4newquestgivesanotherbind
  16. Hello making sandwiches.... And well, it's kind of ridiculous to give advice based on the fact that you aren't basically playing the game. I could come out and say botting is the obvious way of training skills, but that would be wrong on many levels. Thus, when giving advice, though it's legit to consider clicking intensity, you can't just say afk it as that's basically not playing the game. I have no idea why jagex went away from the idea, but trolls and ents killing afkers used to be the best thing, as really, you should always be paying some attention(not paying attention is basically what afking is). I'm not going to dispute that roctails or ivy can be viable methods of training if you don't enjoy any sort of wc/fishing and only want the levels(which is basically taking rs as a job), but if i recommend something, all i can say about the method is that they aren't click intense(not that you should be making sandwitches while doing them, which i can do while dungeoneering, even :shades: ).
  17. it's worth doing all spots as the spots are all over 300k pure xp an hour and it cuts down on the penalty of having to do 3 minute dungeons(obviously a second could take care of this but even then all spots are optimal). You can also only get the best wood/fish at your level and one tier alone, so all the spots are worth doing for xp. Mining is only available in c3 and those contain much less fish/wood and the fact that it's 5 ore max per rock(15 max fish, 8 max wood) and the xp per isn't great(like 150 compared to 300 from wc) means mining alone is slow and it really slows down the other skills. There seems to be a noticable difference in the number of fishing/wcing spots as you go up the floors, but not a big or no difference at all between the same type of floor. I suggest 1-5 frozen because they have most resources and fastest bosses(lumi icefiend is actually kind of slow, but that's 40 seconds even). Oh...and smithing is absolutely, catastrophically terrible for anything in dungeoneering.
  18. Firstly, as most would guess, i need to do the low floors for dungeoneering prestige anyway, and it's an efficient method for me to get them done. For people that are pure fishing(not like me) that would likely also be better. Also, as i don't have optimal binds for c1(cosmics, primarily) my rates aren't max by any means. Thirdly, for the first few frozen floors atleast, you can kill the boss and end a dungeon faster than it would take to quit and reenter.
  19. I'm not telling people how to play but really, though afking is a non-enforced rule, it's poor judgment for the community to accept it as something you should do. Again, afking is against the rules, thus as you have to be at your keyboard the whole time, the two methods only differ in clicking intensity, with one taking twice the time for little gain of money.
  20. Has any1 actually stated teaks would be 100k/H? If I remember right zarfot said It would be ''almost'' 100k/H'' in some of his vids. Also SUOMI averaged about 93k/H when doing teaks. i wanted maxes and with fm xp summed into max fming(so you don't actually get that amount but efficiently do).
  21. Well, if you look at it from a different perspective, there really isn't a massive difference between botting and afking ivy/rocktails, but for the fact that you can get banned for one of them. Afking can never be enjoyable(i'm talking about enjoyment from the game), but i do actually like doing my low floors with a bit of variety. Also, they are actually both against the rules(well, unless you make the sandwitch on your keyboard), but only one can be enforced.
  22. It highly depends on how you play the game. For me personally, as i don't think of the game as a job, when i'm playing it, i'm playing it. For different people it may be different, but the general theme of afking is that you really don't like the game that much.
  23. I think none of the elite helpers here ever make that mistake, or maybe you just have a really bad example. If someone is asking is barrows or dragon is better it's quite clear they are relatively poor and can't afford bandos(or torso, which basically costs just as much). In that situation the guy would be recommended to wear either a rune plate(as you really don't need the extra defense) or the cheapest barrows plate bar veracs, if they really want to have higher defense. As for this particular example, lets assume rocktail fishing is around 45k xp ph(the rate we have seen over this thread) and c2 fishing is around 90k xp ph(the rate i've seen 90 fishers get with relative ease, even when completing dungeons). Thus he would have to earn the same amount of money as he is earning rocktail fishing in 2 hours doing one hour of something else, and as roctail fishing is such poor money(2*120*1800 = 432k) any rubbish moneymaker would even earn twice as much(he could likely get 1m in that hour killing dragons, or even slaying). That calculation doesn't even take into account the xp he can earn in that hour or that it could be even more efficient assuming he fishes for his c1's. Again, he very well may do it, but people aren't telling him not to because they are trolling or trying to be a smartass, it's because they are trying to help the poor kid(H&A, you see).
  24. Fishing - barb with or without eating is best. Woodcutting - Splitting arctic pines with d axe > splitting arctic pines with adze > teaks Or if you value magic xp (i.e. wont max it through other methods) teaks > arctic with d axe > arctic with adze Also teaks are best if you want to fletch while woodcutting. The name of the methods without xp rates really doesn't do me any good...
  25. Lol . Dat satisfaction
