I never said he shouldn't do it, I just said it's crap for money.

Purple ~ 0.7 easters Green ~ 1.6 easters Yellow ~ 2 easters Red ~ 3 easters White ~ 6 easters Purple ~ 12 easters? If you feel compelled to sell an egg for ge price, there are many here on TIF who'd be willing to take it off your hands :<3:

It's IMO not very good to say: Slayer is crap, expecially when you are under 83. Please explain it then. Slayer gives decent money. Especially Abberant Spectres. They drop so much herbs, it's even profit when you use ppots. Every task I get 2 or 3 addy platelegs, a robe bottom, and then I won't mention torstol and snapdragon seeds. Chaldear comes up with blue drags, pretty much. So the bones and hides make you money. And that with slayer levels lower then 83. Slayer is bad money because there are many other ways to make more money. If you're under 83 you won't get dragon boots, abyssal whips, dark bows, and staves of light either, making slayer even less profitable. I'm pretty sure that I have a bit more knowledge about the money involved considering that I have over ten times your slayer xp.

I was a str nub/pc product. Went 90-99 strength there in about two weeks. I got it because I fancied pking. Also I wanted to be able to use that new-fangled abyssal whip to get all of my future levels with. Figured I'd get the training I'd have to do with a Dragon Scimitar done first. Vegetables before desert.

They crashed because the price rise was caused by a buyout and bandwagoners, not by real demand. I don't forsee them rising again, particularly not this much. On a related note H'weens should crash soon. The santa crash does not bode well due to lower confidence.
-
Approximately. The formula given shows that in the first second you should get about 2.87x xp.
-
Both potions eventually get eaten or otherwise consumed, and leave the game anyway. They both function the same.
-
How did they crash? They are still going up in ge. Did I miss something? Here's one example. I imagine they'll go down to at least 40m.

So basically, F2P should have green dragons because they could be killed? Got any other amazing reasons why this would be a good idea? Yes. F2P are the basis for the Runescape enconomy. There ARE other free games out there, and more all the time. If F2P does not become more attractive, F2P players will go elsewhere (more than they are now). No, F2P are not the basis for the Runescape economy. Consider the top fifty most traded items. Of them, here are the following items produced by F2P, in decreasing traffic: Fire Runes - primarily gathered by P2P slayers, not F2P runecrafters Feathers - primarily gathered from NPCs Willow Logs - granted F2P is the primary supplier of this item which is used as JUNK Air Runes - F2P is the primary supplier Water Runes - primarily gathered from NPCs Mind Runes - primarily gathered by P2P from barrows. Earth Runes - primarily gathered from NPCs Rune Essence - gathered by and used only by F2P; note that the amount traded is 25% that of pure essence and is half as valuable Coal - although some is mined by F2P, the majority is gathered by P2P from LRC and MTK Body Runes - gathered by F2P Iron Arrows - gathered by F2P from stores and minotaurs Raw/cooked Lobster - primarily gathered by F2P Raw/cooked Tuna - primarily gathered by P2P from MTK Yew Logs - primarily gathered by F2P Iron Ore - primarily gathered by F2P Gold Ore - some is gathered by F2P, much more is gathered by P2P from LRC Raw Trout - gathered by F2P and P2P fishers Oak Logs - primarily gathered by F2P Gold Bars - primarily produced by P2P goldsmiths As you can see, F2P is only involved in less than 40% of the most traded items. Then when you consider only the items that F2P is actually the primary supplier of, that figure drops to under 20%. Add to this that members items are much more valuable and you see that F2P contributes a small share to Runescapes would-be GDP. Yes, adding something to F2P would help increase interest. First off let me say that this is not an issue, as F2P usage has been rising. Secondly, these additions have happened (e.g. duel arena) and will happen (e.g. new skill). This is simply not an issue. Do I even need to play the "members play more" card? Revenants are a joke and are not dangerous. Even if you somehow manage to die you have a gravestone to protect your items. This is evidenced by members consistently wearing their best items to kill green dragons. It would be very over powered. No risk; enormous reward. Wearing F2P gear I can easily rack up 500k profit an hour at green dragons, which is double the average F2P hourly income. Add to this the fact that you'd have to make dragon bones and hides F2P and you have one unsavoury situation.

3000 pouches per hour.

Slayer is crap for money, especially when you're under 83. Kill dragons for hides and bones, or barrows if you like it.
-
2 easters, a pumpkin, and cash could almost get you a white partyhat, you know.
-
Then obviously super energy until 84, then recover special til you run out. Then do like 500 super energies and 500 recover specials. Repeat this until you only have fletching potions.

Would this help with problems with the Grand Ex.?
Bladewing replied to Ren's topic in Help and Advice
We should not mention player's names here, or this will get locked. Every human has different tastes and preferences. The amount of utility she gets from a santa hat exceeds the current market price. Whether you call it opinion or preference, the fact of the matter is that she won't sell for the current market price. If the price rises high enough she will sell. I think your personal attack on this player as being mentally insane is completely unfounded. It is completely logical to hold your wealth in something like santa hats. They will rise in price long term. What would you have this player do, anyway? She's insane/immoral for "keeping them too herself." Do think that sticking them in the party room is logical? How is this any different than thinking that a person like Warren Buffet should give away all his money because it'd be insane to hoard all that money and stocks? -

I'm willing to continue our debate here if you want to. -

Yes, it would help. No, it would not be implemented. -
I HATE this because it introduces unnecessary chaos to an already annoyingly difficult trade system.
-
So your first point is that F2P'ers don't stick around? Well, new ones join every day to replace them.
-
If you think that if free to play disappeared entirely that the Runescape economy would somehow collapse, you my friend have a very misconstrued knowledge of economics.
-
I read it as "you can trick the game into thinking you're in a POH when you really aren't."

^ Constitutes bug abuse. Stay away from that.

It raises (lowers) herblore by a random number between -6 and 6. Only brown affects herblore.

But drinking a prayer potion doesn't interrupt your combat.
