I'd pay $10 a month to see PMods removed and have Jagex-paid employees moderating. People who are power hungry/attention seekers like that disgust me. Nothing against the nice people who became mods as a consequence of their personality and demeanor.

I'm not too sure on the times. I seem to recall making 1.1k strung bows from log and bowstring to strung bow. One could break this down further to separate stringing and cutting, but I don't have enough data to do that. 60k is with Mousekeys. I wrote that right after I wrote 60k/h... +, 4, +, 6. Repeat ad nauseum.

I put the items in order of importance. OP should keep buying the items from top to bottom until he/she has met his/her slayer budget.

This guy is pretty cute:

You obviously don't know what inflation is. Inflation has to do with price levels or purchasing power when comparing two points in time. Price levels have risen over the last year or so, and likewise purchasing power has fallen (they always change together and in opposite directions because they measure the same thing). Runescape has experienced inflation. 120m a year ago could get you two AGSes (about), and now you can only get one with the same amount of gp. Also when the US dollar was backed by gold, the US government could not just print another dollar. They had to get another ounce of gold or whatever to stick in Fort Knox. And you can still have inflation if your real-life currency is backed by gold.

Well I was using runite bolts, didn't actually take that long. Jad has low defence and the healers don't really heal that much. It probably took me less time than it would take me to lure the healers. I'm 99 ranging and herblore, though. I was using: Guthan's helm Accumulator Fury Runite Bolts Rune Crossbow Spectral Spirit Shield Armadyl Chestplate Armadyl Plateskirt Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots (I melee'd the caves, don't make fun of me) Berserker Ring (same as above)

No one is making you pay for members or train these skills. Also I'm going to discount you know anything about these skills since you have what, 10m total xp? That's like 300 hours of play time max. If they were tradeable you'd come back here bithcing about how it costs too much. "I'm too lazy to get them myself" doesn't mean the skill has problems; it means you have problems. First off not everything is about money. You don't need to make money off of everything you do in RuneScape. Although I have my own personal complaints about hunter, you can make money if you chose to - in fact the fastest ways to train the skill (red chincompas and grenwalls) both make moderate-large amounts of money. Again no one is making you train the skill. If you don't like spending coins to train it then don't. Construction is the reason why prayer is tolerable to train now, so I'd hardly say it's completely useless. It's so expensive because it's so incredibly powerful and useful. Same reason why whips, godswords, and other useful equipments are expensive. Again, if you don't want to train it, don't. You are quite right that it is practically a members' skill. You are also quite right that the experience is very slow, even with the ZMI altar. You are also quite right that the skill is very unrewarding. Why would I spend 200+ hours ZMI'ing runecrafting to 91, to unlock double natures which is about 1.5m/hour? I could spend a fraction of that time getting 99 ranging, defence, and summoning to make 3m+ an hour at GWD? I agree that runecrafting has issues, and is part of why I am only 75 in the skill. Farming is very easy. For 15 minutes I can easily get 100k xp. Much faster than many skills, and VERY easy to level. You can also make lots of money in very little time by growing just herbs. And the only thing the GE did was save me the hassle of making posts on the forums buying seeds. One among many. It's actually moderate speed, but I'll agree that it's boring and time feels like it's going very slow while training it. Slayer is very fast. You just don't know what you're doing. Buy super sets, buy some real armor, buy a cannon, buy prayer potions for piety/turmoil, and you'll start gett Thieving is one of the fastest skills in the game, peaking at around 200k xp/hour. You'll see what I mean when you look at how many players have 200m xp in this skill. If you don't want to train it, don't. If you don't like playing Runescape, don't. The only pattern I'm seeing is you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Z spear is for crush for waterfiends and stab for steel/mithril dragons if you have super antifires. It's not worth using anywhere else. Bandos is superior (if you have the money) because it speeds up your xp/hour, even for defence. D claws are the best special weapon for slayer, speeding up your xp/hour, even for defence. Berserker Ring speeds up your xp/hour, even for defence. Turmoil speeds up your xp/hour, even for defence. I don't see why you would think that they wouldn't speed up defence xp.

I haven't fletched in several years so I'm not too sure on speed... but I'll try to remember as accurately as I can. XP from 85-99: 9,775,837 In order from slowest to fastest: Yew Longbows: 1100 per hour 65,173 bows to make 59.2 hours -1,466k gp Broad Bolts: 60,000 per hour (mousekeys) 3,258,613 bolts to make 54.3 hours +81,465k gp Magic Longbows: 1100 per hour 53,420 bows to make 48.5 hours -15,836k gp Mithril Bolts: 60,000 per hour (mousekeys) 1,955,168 bolts to make 32.5 hours -1,955k gp Adamant Bolts: 60,000 per hour (mousekeys) 1,396,549 bolts to make 23.2 hours -34,899k gp Hourly income required for Broad Bolts to be efficient: 0gp Hourly income required for Magic Longbows to be efficient: 16.7m Hourly income required for Mithril Bolts to be efficient: 3.8m Hourly income required for Adamant Bolts to be efficient: 3.7m Chances are broad bolts will be your best choice.

Junk is anything you can't sell on the GE at a useful speed. Junk is primarily obtained from manipulation clans, as once an item is "dumped" it is unsellable. Other unsellables like body tiaras are also considered junk. Players have lots of junk usually get it from buying rising/bought out items (easter eggs, hooks, partyhats, or whatever is rising), renting godswords/other equipment, or participating in a buyout and retaining a large stock after a dump.

If you are high ranging you can just keep attacking Jad and disregard the healers entirely. It is very possible to outhit their heals. If you want to stop them from healing Jad you need to get them angry at you and then move so that none of them are directly adjacent to him.
-
They are the best special weapon for slaying, in and out of Kuradal's. If you have space you can bring recover special potions to increase the amount of speccing you can do.
-
I think I have everything here in order of importance: Rune Defender Abyssal Whip Super pots Dragon Boots Barrows Armor Cannon Fury Zamorakian Spear (if you do waterfiends or if you have 85+ herblore) Turmoil/Piety Berserker Ring Bandos Chestplate Bandos Tassets Dragon Claws Karils set Getting 85/88 herblore and 95 prayer fit in there somewhere, but they aren't items.
-
Keep Tassets if you have enough money to buy cannonballs and prayer potions for piety/turmoil for every task. Bandos is the best armor for slaying. Verac's has more prayer bonus, but you can always bring an extra dose of prayer potion. You can't make up the strength bonus.

i agree it is too hard for me too kill nomad i mean he is two strong and y cant my pots heal me and deal damage 2 him i think he is to strong jedax should make it ez-er becuz im not some nerd dat is gunna play rs for 100 hours a day! lol! \:D/   :geek:

Waterfiends NOT in CT til 95 and then CT fiends til 96.
-
With maxed stats it should only take you 20ish hours to get an onyx. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that most people play more than an hour a day on average.

10 at most. You should use a whip or a godsword. You should use a rune crossbow. You should use the north spot, luring three demons. Use void if you aren't already. Get your ranging up.
-
Southwest of Pollnivneach. It's faster to use a combat familiar in the chaos tunnels than a cannon in the well.
-
Claws are better, they are much more powerful. The prayer you gain from the SGS specials is not that great.
-
You said you were soloing? Leeches are better than eagle eye there. The deflect animation is hardly deadly, you just need to get used to it. I mean you already have animation lags from your terrorbird scrolls. I got this using curses. Good luck.
-
Extremes are much better over supers than turmoil is over piety. You only need 88 for extreme attack and strength, but you need 95 for turmoil. Soulsplit is convenient, but not THAT great.

Santas will drop. There was one strong buyout, then a crash. Then people tried to buy them out, which worked for a few days, but was followed by another crash. Then another buyout was attempted, which turned around after fewer than 24 hours. They are crashing quite hard right now and I would not be surprised to see them go down to 40m. Potions will drop for a couple days, but then bought back up by players hoping to make a few mils as they return to original prices.

Piety > Leech Attack + Strength + Defence everywhere. Turmoil > Piety almost everywhere Leech Ranged + Defence > Eagle Eye for bosses, Eagle Eye wins for training (i.e. low defence)
