  1. That's a completely statistically unfounded statement; it's like saying killing cows is the most practical way to train combat because you get good cooking, crafting, and prayer experience. Superheating is a good way to train magic, and a mediocre way to train smithing. Considering that you seem to be low on money and you really want smithing xp, this may be your only option.
  2. "Farming" as a term to describe camping something for a drop is well-known throughout MMORPGs; c.f. gold-farming. Slayer is bad xp. Bad money. Bad charms. Don't do it unless you want slayer xp. Do waterfiends for charms; the only other thing worth doing is rock lobsters, but I wouldn't do this unless you want magic xp (personal belief). And for the record I kind of like slayer, so I trained it a lot.
  3. They should have not added a "quick prayer" button until they tested it.
  4. As well as fally shield 3 on The alloment pouch to the south of fally Pretty sure that's just an xp boost.
  5. Black demons>greater demons. Better charms, better melee xp, no wild dogs, less competition. It costs a bit at lower levels but then again you barely break even at greaters. Last time I checked Greaters were faster charms/hour, since they're so weak.
  6. Proselyte only if you're using superhuman strength. Here's what I'd recommend: Helm: Black Mask/Slayer Helmet Cape: 99 Ranged Weapon: Saradomin Sword (for strength); Whip (for defense) Body: Torag's Shield: Rune Defender Legs: Verac's Gloves: Barrows Boots: Dragon Ring: Berserker
  7. Greater Demons are faster crimsons, once you can kill them.
  8. Make sure you've shown the bronze defender to her, so she'll let out the ones with iron defenders.
  9. 1)Maybe 30-35% 2)30-40. 4)Bring a combat familiar; use regular food. It's so close to a bank anyway, that it's a better use of your time to teleport and grab pineapple pizzas than dink around picking up bones.
  10. Acorns are obviously cheaper, but I'd do at least willows.
  11. Only cut your planks if it's the fastest way you can make money (which is about 350k/hr with balloons, mind you.) If you make more money at runecrafting or what have you, do that. I'd just like to throw out Green Dragons and Aviansies as good, consistent, combat-based money making methods. You can make 400k at greens starting at relatively low levels, and it only goes up (I make 600-650k).
  12. Killing Zombie Monkeys under Ape Atoll.
  13. Then buy some knives and ranging potions and kill some ogres or greaters. Won't really make money, however. Seriously, getting 60 strength or agility is worth it.
  14. Nice Vid Toast, only thing I can recommend is getting a registered hypercam so you don't have those annoying black borders. Can also be done by stretching the video to fit. Don't use annoying effects (like the white screen from 1:25-1:30), it makes the video a) unviewable, and B) painful to the eyes. And spending a little time at PVP Zanaris: [hide=81 Herblore] [/hide]
  15. ZMI altar.
  16. F2P cannot enchant bolts.
  17. Have a cat instead of a kitten.
  18. Calculated mean for sample of thousands of patches yielded a mean herb yield of 6.6 herbs / seed.
  19. Right you are, barrows sucks for money.
  20. so i should not slay and not use broad bolts? If you're too cheap to use adamant bolts, then I guess get 55 slayer with lamps, penguin points, and Soul Wars. Although adamant bolts aren't really that pricy.
  21. Neither - get whip and rune defender.
  22. Normal slayer by FAR.
  23. You can note farming produce by using it on a tool leprechaun.
  24. What's the point of safespoting when they use range and mage anyway? when u safspot they can't hit u They use range and mage right? So wouldn't that mean as long as you can hit them they can hit you? I mean, if there's a gate between you two, and you're flinging arrows at it, nothing's stopping it from ranging or maging you back. Safespots only protect against melee combat. [/hide] i have safspoted them they dont attack back trust me Once they become non agressive, you can trap them on the pile of rocks (west side of the river). Since their range is so small, you can shoot them with a crossbow or what have you.
