SGS wastes 3 rounds of attacking; EE can spec in between hits. SGS also costs 50m and protects over many valuable pieces; EE is replaceable for 500gp and has very low protect value. SGS forces you to give up a shield for 3 rounds of combat, increasing the damage you take. SGS is worse than EE.

fury protects over rapier, so i'm not going to use it lol

costs about 700k more per trip to use than fire surge, but it's really convenient since if rex spawns i can freeze rex and continue killing supreme without taking any damage. on top of that you don't have to deal with safespotting him, just farcast. oh and it hits harder than surge, so if someone tries to crash me i have an edge i think it's worth it

off topic, but generally fire cape > soul wars cape even when praying, unless banking and coming back to the monster is an issue. i only use sw cape at godwars, tds, and dks.

in lower complexities (4 and under i believe), there ARE no bonus rooms. this means that every room must be opened to reach the boss, effectively forcing guide mode. when you use these lower complexities you must take the guide mode penalty.

the other part of the "problem" is not a problem. runescape's inflation rate is approximately 0% or lower right now, so money is actually becoming more valuable

i think it may just be that jagex has a "force update" mechanism for discontinued items, perhaps based on existing offers. my suspicion is that crackers actually have few offers sitting in them (being that they are what 800m?). wines and edibles on the other hand, being much cheaper, are more affordable to leave an offer in and therefore force update more often. i don't think this "force update" mechanism applies to spirit shields. the reason i think they take forever to update is that the game only counts completed shields traded and not coinshared sigils. if 100 sigils have been coinshared, probably only a couple shields have sold. *just* speculation of course

or jagex could just increase it to a 64bit variable. then we wouldn't have trouble with "max gp" unless someone somehow acquired 9 quintillion gp.

yea i agree. if i could redo training my combat stats i would use full void. now i only use combat for bosses and slaying, so i really don't use the void anymore

they are worth it use tort and piety and food, use a cannon get a bunch of bones, sell them, and go burst/barrage charms for 96 go back to frosts and kill some more

well... sling is 5 speed (shortbow on rapid), so a shortbow would obviously be better. better yet would be obsidian rings. or just a crossbow

i never really noticed anything like that. was too busy having fun killing stuff to notice if i was a noob or needed to grind moar.

well i know some people with office jobs that can do afk tasks in runescape (such as training combat!) for 4-8 hours a day during their work day. so really it could be possible to have a perfectly successful and rewarding life while still playing 6 hours a day.

full helm orn has barely any street last time i checked the others seem to be hovering around 25-35m

if this had only been around for a few weeks, i would agree with you danq. but this has been around for like a year, so i think it is pretty absurd that jagex was not aware of this i'm not really mad: i already have 99 prayer. but i kinda feel bad for all those who don't, it'll be a little bit more inconvenient.
