i could have sworn i've read they are better. someone said zammy is attack, and guth is def. I also thought i read on guides that they are slightly better then rune armor. You're telling me none of this is true? I guess I shouldn't bother saving up for them any more. Zammy is attack, Guthix is Balance, Saradomin is defence. This applied to Prayer BOOKS only. God trimmed armor are EXACTLY the same as the rune armour counter parts except for looks and price. Basically a rich man's Rune armor.

Willow to yew all the way. Maple's Speed doesnt outweigh the 3x cost in logs. At least not in my opinion, i havent tried selling an unstrung maple long to a shop so... I know for certain that willow long (u) sell for 16 gp ea, so you can get about 40-50% of your money back.

if you kill green dragons, craft their hides and high alch them, you still get plenty of cash. Otherwise Yew longs are your best bet (yew short are not, in your example you only made 80 gp per yew log cut)

To Clarify: a fully charged crystal bow has 2500 shots, and every 250 shots it degrades, which affects its damage and ranged bonus, however this doesnt affect that it is still superior to the other 2 bows because of damage. Karil's Bow can only outweigh a Crystal bow when the Crystal bow is at 2/10 or 1/10. Crystal Bow is VERY expensive to maintain initially, because the first recharge is 900k. But every time after that you get 20% discount each time until you reach 180k (your 5th recharge), and it will stay there for further recharges. The price of the recharge is independent of the bow, so you can recharge 2 seeds, and 1 might be 540k for example, but the next will be 360k. Crystal Bow certainly the best if you can maintain it. Karil's Bow if you havent dont the Roving Elves quest, or dont like carrying multiple bows for very long trips, or if you barrow a hell lot. MSB if you cant afford anything else.

it seems that the lower the metal of the defender, the lower chance it will drop. I spent quite a while in getting my first bronze defender, but after i got my rune defender, further rune defenders just drop once every 20 minutes or so.

You are not left with many options in that regard, all good gloves need a quest...

crystal is a very nice balance between cheapness and power. very cheap for its power, and does the most damage between the 3, though the slowest. Karil's Crossbow is good for its power and speed. very expensive to maintain though due to price of the bolts. MSB is used for training purposes, the arrows are the cheapest for training, and least accurate of the 3, the rune arrows are very expensive because you can recover the arrows.

use the ALS plane on the fairy ring, find a spawn point for an abyssal leech, and stay there. kill the leech as it spawns. there is one very near to the ring so just kill that one. All higher abyss monsters are not worth the effort of killing for pouches.

Its called flatpacking, which means that you make them into Ikea style furniture, portable and 50% DIY. You need bench (which is in workshop) to make flatpacks, and higher level benches allows you to make higher items into flat packs. If you were to level construction though, it is INEVITABLE that you must remove some furniture and rebuild, hence why you see people saying construction being an expensive skill

thats all luck, monsters CANT possibly hit you higher because your def is like 20 out of over 300 lower... Obby Shield as of release of Rune Defenders, are completely obsolete apart from ranged def (and even then the +5 str isnt even relavent there, thus making Granite shield better than obby shield in that sense). For the record : the defence of Obby Shield are 40/43/38/0/65 Defenders are 20/19/18/-2/-3. Now would you sacrifice 20 out of 120 slash bonus for a 20/300 crush defence bonus, which the Black demon, and many other monster's attack are based on? I would be crazy if i did that, especially the monster in question is as high as Black Demon. I would NEVER ever think about getting that 20 defence points for a sacrifice of massive decrease in accuracy

if you dont like the wildy, Flesh Crawlers on the second level of Stronghold of Security also drops heaps of them, so keep at it. If you want a LOAD of low level herbs, then the cave BUGS (not cave slime or crawlers, the Level 6 ones) drops absolute ton of them. You only need a very low slayer to kill them and they are blooming easy to kill (5 hp).

i thought melee'ing barrow brother had always been a HIGH level's way of doing it? The Barrow brothers have a pretty good defence on each so i dont think it would be as effective as doing it with mage... I tried verac's set method, and i still managed to have a very hard time getting through the brothers, even after super set. Also as a side note, people do barrows for barrow items, and so killing only 2-3 brother will not be wise. Plus Verac hits through prayer now so this is ESPECIALLY dangerous down in the tunnels, because you didnt kill 4 of the brothers, and hence this will cause the brothers in the tunnel to be 4 times as likely to appear as otherwise. If you only wish to do barrows for the absolute fun of it, sure... But for money making method, mage is still the most effective method.

Just let every reader know, that you can use staff as well as runes to make the tablets, so for cammy teleport, you can just wield an air staff and laws, and just make heaps of cammy tabs.

Sorry for the late reply, but because it is there, you, and every other npc, will walk AROUND it, so you will know if you character does a slight detour, but the line straight ahead seems to be clear. I found another safe spot in the rat room. Thats the Western room with the Treasure room door. I will post a pic of that later on today./ These safe spots still exist of last week, and they are now much more convinient for Verac due to his prayer pierce attack.

the fact is that coins are better yielded from high alching high end objects than you could when picking up cash. Cash drops are very small, and probably 1 single alch could out weigh 200 cash drops, so why bother? Its not like end of world if you do pick up the cash. Its a gamble really, do you want steady but very slow 2m a year or do you want to gamble for 200m a year with drops?

you could only get it when FINISHING the quest, doesnt work when it is already finished. When she gives you the ecto, walk away instead of finishing the conversation, and speak to her again. lather, rinse, repeat. Though it is VERY strange why they would try and limit the number of ectophials in your bank? Perhaps just to save hard disk space so that they only have to store whether you have an ectophial or not instead of how many ectophials? Its not like its a very very powerful form of teleport, nor is it very very convinient.... it seems that only Family Crest Gauntlets and Ectophials are the big big 1 single item bank objects that you cannot duplicate...

Unfortunately there is a very strong exception to that statement. Air company is very successful and yet it requires lv 1 Runecrafting to make. Granted it does take a bit of leveling to get decent amount of airs per ess.

You wont be able to do it in one go, you have to tell him to unnote them, THEN tell him to plank the logs. Thus it takes 2 trips. Also butler charges every 120 planks (if you ask him to unnote logs then plank logs, so thats 12 trips)
