  1. You do know that the screen itself doesn't get any bigger? Just the ratio to the actual resolution is smaller.. so it appears bigger.
  2. Focus on something a little less ambitious.. such as getting your combat stats in the high scores.
  3. Yea, as said earlier, it would be beneficial to bring a tinderbox and some logs. But if you can't be bothered to do that, then you can always use the fire you made for Olaf outside of the cave at the foot of the mountain. Remember that? Yea! It works for cooking too. It's much quicker than banking and is right next to the entrance/exit. I might also suggest bringing combat pots if you don't have a DBA. Good guide though, I used it and am still using it! :)
  4. I was just informing you... I knew what you meant, but just for your edification, I thought I'd let you know. Play nice now.
  5. And if you're getting opinions from us, then you're going to need to cite us in your paper. Which would in turn require you to know our names at the very least, I reckon. Buut.. meh. Maybe you could do a "live slideshow". Prepare everything beforehand and get some buddies to agree to be online at the same time as you are. Plan out a route to hit the high spots of RS. Go to KQ, KBD, Wilderness, Duel Arena, CW, etc. Then go do some skills with your friends. Also, to be realistic, log in to a F2P world at Lumbridge to show the "lower class" so-to-speak. Have fun with that!
  6. Hm.. my thought is that you have three different variables there but you used the same one repeatedly. Say X is equal to 1,000, which is how many laws you need. Now, since you've used X three different times, here's what you're saying: "I'll buy 1,000 laws to get magic from 1,000 to 1,000 doing Cammy tele." You should say: "I'll buy X amount of laws to get magic from Y to Z doing Cammy teles." Three different variables. Aside from that... ...Depends. If you want the level as fast as possible and don't care as much about the loss, then you'll want to do Camelot teles. If you do care, don't like tele'ing, or prefer alching, then you'll alch. It's all opinion, as it has been and always will be.
  7. However, if you look under the "Seeds:" list, it has "herb". That covers all herb seeds.
  8. Not really. If you're going for 99 in a straight shot, it's a good idea to get all or most of the supplies you'll need before you start. That way you don't have to constantly stop training to go gather/buy the resources, which will slow you down. Also, you're going to probably want to use iron knives, bronze/iron arrows + MSB, or Steel+ bolts and a Rune C'bow.
  9. Easy Mithril Mining: Grand Tree Method Table of Contents What is it? How do we get it? Where do I go? What do I need to bring? How do I do it then? Statistics Pros and Cons What is it? Mithril is a good, all-around type of metal that is useful for many things. Mithril can be used in the production of various metal armours and weapons, although these are uncommonly used throughout Runescape; mostly by low-mid level players. Where Mithril really shines is with Mithril Plates for High-Alching and mithril darts/bolts/arrows for Ranging. How do we get it? Well, there are a few requirements. To mine mithril at all you will need to first get to level 55 Mining, at which point you learn how to mine the ore. Also, to Superheat the ores you'll be getting, you'll need to obtain level 43 in Magic. As well as a Magic requirement, you'll need the accompanying required level for smelting mithril; 50 Smithing. Finally, you'll need to have completed the The Grand Tree quest, which will grant you access to the mine that you'll be at. Where do I go? You'll be headed to the Grand Tree to access the mines. You should know how to get there already if you've done the quest. If not, then you've got a few options. 1)Walk northwest from Ardougne. 2)Use a Games Necklace to go to Barbarian Assault and take the rock climb shortcut up the mountain. (37 Agility required) 3)Use a Dueling Ring to go to the Dueling Arena, a Glory teleport to go to the castle in Al-Kharid, or a Home/Lumbridge teleport to go to Lumbridge; then take the Glider near the Gem Trader in Al-Kharid to the Grand Tree. Once you're there, you're going to need to know the location of three things; the bank, the ladder, and the mine. Starting at the bank, here is a map to get to the Mine. (If you don't know how to get to the bank, it's on the second [American] floor of the Grand Tree, just to the west). From the bank, go to the ladder and go down. From the ground floor, take the trap door down into the mines. From there, go just to the north of you and push through the vines to get into the mine. What do I need to bring? Well, for mining, you don't need much. But since you'll be Superheating the ores, you're going to need the runes required for it. It's advisable to bring weight reducing gear, such as Boots of Lightness and a Spotted/Spottier cape. That's what you'll want. A Rune Pickaxe is highly advisable, as it will allow you to get your ores much quicker. A fire staff is highly recommended in the place of fire runes, as it frees one more inventory space and provides unlimited runes. I personally wear an Amulet of Glory to get the extra gems feature that it provides. Nature Runes are for the Superheat ore spell that you'll be casting. If you can't get either of those weight reducing items, you shouldn't worry; they're not completely necessary. How do I do it then? Well, it's rather simple, really. Here's the step-by-step. 1)When you enter the mine, head to the west and mine the two Mithril ores that spawn there. 2)Head to the far east portion of the mine and mine the two mithril ore located there. 3)Mine the coal on this side of the mine. [hide=Coal Mining Path]For mining the coal, there is a technique that you can use to speed up the mining process. I've detailed the order in which you will want to mine the coal. "S" symbolizes the starting point, and "F" indicates the finish point. Once you've mined the eighth and final ore on the path, restart at the first coal ore (the mithril shouldn't have spawned yet) and work your way through. The path is excellent because it provides 8 ores; enough to superheat two bars. [/hide] 4)Superheat the ores. 5)Repeat until your inventory is full. Statistics For every mithril bar that you superheat, you'll gain 280 experience points in Mining, 53 experience points in Magic, and 30 experience points in Smithing. For every inventory of 18 bars that you make, you'll gain 5,040 experience points in Mining, 954 experience points in Magic, and 540 experience points in Smithing. For every 100 mithril bars that you superheat, you'll gain 28,000 experience points in Mining, 5,300 experience points in Magic, and 3,000 experience points in Smithing. Pros and Cons Pros: Nobody is ever here! Quick and efficient; four mithril rocks and plenty of coal in one convenient spot. Easy Access, close to a bank. Cons: Have to do a quest to get into it. Mithril ores are spaced in two distant extremes of the mine.
  10. I very much doubt they will make a creature that is hard to kill, even with a team, a slayer task. Yeah probably not lol, just another of the many mysteries of Runescape... And you can't Burthope it! HAHAHAHAHA!
  11. I think the Party Hat needs to be a bit lower on his head, and his hair should go down some more towards his neck; right now it looks like he's got a huge bald area under his hair. Take a look at someone's hair line, and you'll see it goes down farther than that.
  12. I've been on both sides of that fence.. before, I would simply follow the guide blindly, clicking through the chat as fast as I could. But lately, I've been cutting my guide-usage down to a minimum. I look at it to get the items that I'll need, simply because I hate getting somewhere hard-to-get and having to turn around because I left a tinderbox or something.. -.- Afterwards, I try to do the whole quest without the guide; however, if I get stuck, I'll pop it up to figure out that part and close it afterwards. It adds that sense of depth and immersion that Paw was talking about.
  13. Haha that is so FTW! Reminds me of the old FF games. :) One suggestion though is to change the damage he hits to their max/current HP at the time it hit them, instead of just 99s.
  14. It was Spammopolis in there... People were put off by the atmosphere that was set and left, either joining another chat or giving up on it altogether. Either that or it's just a downtime right now.
  15. For one thing, it looks like she's floating. You need to place her feet correctly, not both facing the same way. Also, her arms need to be a tad longer. Stand up and hold your arms to your side, and you should see that they go down more than what you've depicted (unless you're .. atypical). It looks a tad choppy around the edges as well. Other than that, it's really good. :) *EDIT* Oh.. her thighs look anorexic too :XD: You might want to fix that.
  16. If you really want Guams quickly, go kill some Chaos Druids. It'd probably be faster than buying them. Or buy some unids and hope that some are above Ranarr to pay for the costs.
  17. Fire bolt with Chaos Gauntlets in my opinion.
  18. Grade 12, Senior Year: Semester 1: Discrete Mathematics Spanish II AP Psychology CP English 12 Semester 2: ... ... ... ... I'm planning on graduating early, so no second semester for me!
  19. The music selection was nice, but the video itself was kind of boring. I know it was for fun, so I wasn't expected big things from it. But... why exactly did you drink your whole Super Strength pot (I think that's what it was [i don't PK]) so quickly? That was a waste really.
  20. Well I guess that is the real nature of lightning. Lightning is just.. sudden, sporadic. It's all quiet and then a cracking thunder accompanied by a flash of lightning. The storm has come, and lightning is here, and there. It's all around in the sky; hectic, without pattern, chaotic. So before Scapeboard, before Tip.It, it was quiet. The weather was fare and the skies were clear. And, from out of the blue, here comes the storm. The community stormed onto the field, headed by Lightning. The community here is the cloud. Without it, there'd be no rain, no Runescape. See, when it starts to rain, a natural inclination is to look to the skies and see where it's coming from. And lo-and-behold, when people looked to the sky, there it was; Tip.It and the community. Sending its many rain drops into the Runescape world. But now the storm, although not subsided, is beginning to calm. The Lightning is leaving, and a new wave of rain constantly streaming. Yet the lightning cannot be forgotten. The marks it leaves, the impression it makes; all this will last with the community, the cloud, forever. We'll miss you Lightning. Good luck in all of your life and your many years ahead of you. Don't think we'll forget you here at Tip.It. ~Lunar
  21. Because the items with the "tiny amount of str bonus" do add up. It might not make much difference if you wear just a Rune Defender, or just the Dragon Boots. But, wearing them together could increase your max hit. If you plan on wearing mostly offensive gear, then go for the Dragon Boots. If you plan on doing a spot of fighting that requires prayer often (Aberrant Specters, Barrows, Giant Mole..), then you might put into consideration the Bandos Boots.
  22. too many like me u crazy? name 15 the are less then 30cb and have better skillesthen me and ill agree with u, 8-) Zzzamorak Elishot Eternal dad soul in pain Magic guapo Varenagan Iced Jade Sicriu Chozzz Chozz Miner_I I Had A Deal Mikey97532 N0obish Newb Summer sleep So, was that so hard? 23. I think you need to up the cooking levels on some of the lower things. I mean.. having a food healing 20 at 50 Cooking? I think that's a little too much. But I don't think they should have some stat-bonus thing to make them more "appealing" and "keep it from going the route of pizzas". Nobody really uses pizzas anymore as they did in RSC, simply because they're harder to make and nobody buys them. But they're great for training, as a Pineapple pizza heals 22 in 2 bites! Not many people know about them.. and that's what I like so much about it. Also, tuna potatoes are a bother to make and get the materials before, but you don't see a "stat-boost" for them to make them more appealing. :) I'll support if you up the cooking requirements a tad.
