F2P Ranging Spots?
The ranged guide probably has better advice than me but here goes: Lesser demons and moss giants on crandor and Scorpions in Al-Kharid mine. Personally I would reccommend the moss giants because they have respectable drops and, most importantly, drop big bones which are invaluble in raising your prayer, especially if you're F2P.

Merchanting?
I agree with what was said above about merchanting ores and logs being unstable but if you must, here's my advice. Try merchanting iron. It may not make as much money as coal and may not be as common as coal but it is much more stable in price (about 100 each at the moment I think) and you can buy a lot more or it with the same amount of money (remember that merchants do well with large amounts of items bought in bulk). As always remember the cardinal rule; buy low sell high. Don't get greedy. A profit of 5% is respectable and 10% is excellent.

Good place to train combat
Rock crabs are good because they're non-aggressive. Hill and moss giants are always good and now that you're a member you'll find that the drop different members goodies :. Pretty much anywhere that you trained in F2P won't be bad because it'll be a lot less crowded.

Elemental Avvys **Final Update**
Wow, it's been a while since I actually posted more than C/C here. I'm sure almost no one remembers me but, whatever  and a hello to those who don't know me. Anyways I've been working on a collection of Avvys for each of the elements. I start with a large canvas (800x800), do my work, then shrink it down to 80x80. I find this makes for less irratating detail work with high zoom and the pencil tool. I think I might do earth, fire, air, water, ice, light, shadow, and maybe nature and lava. C/C Please and any ideas you have for the other ones I haven't started yet. I know I have tons of views but please leave some feedback. Here's what I have so far: 1. This is either going to be a Nature avvy. I used angular maple, redbud, and oak leaves in addition to pine needles and maple seeds. 2. I really like how this one turned out. I'm thinking Lava. 3. I think this one turned out pretty well. It's going to be the Shadow avvy. 4. Cracked Earth like from a drought. I don't think I got it quite right so any suggestions would be great. 5. Wow, I can't believe I managed to pull this off. I don't think I ever have done water this good. I have unlocked the secret to awesome water! :-$ 6. I like the idea for this one but I can't manage to get the kind of glare off the suns that suggest extreme light. 7. I like this one a lot. It wasn't too hard, just a lot of the spray tool to get a kinda chaos feel. I think the ground is a bit barren though. 8. Aaaah I wanna roast marshmellows =P~! I know what it's supposed to be but I'm not sure if it looks that way to other people. 9. I really like how this one turned out. Ice makes me cold :uhh:.

Hotkeys
Here's a thought: By changing the interface from responding to clicks on the mouse to move to arrow keys to move, it might cut down on some types of macros by messing with their programming. Yes there would eventually be a new program out that would circumvent this but the macroers would have to start from square one with proogramming instead of being able to start with a preexisting one that already has movement hardcoded.

Rate my sig!
I like the sig and how it's split around another bar. The eye kind of continues the picture and fills in the space in between the two. GJ

pixal (w.i.p)
Looks good so far. I like the border but the castle looks a bit too square IMHO.
-
First pixel charecter, (sp?)
It looks like you chose a lot of paletted colors for this, i.e. default colors. They kind of hurt the eyes so here's a tip: create your own colors with more grey in them. This mutes the colors and makes them less extreme.

Help please?
Probably originally saved as a bitmap or something that messed up the quality.

~ Elemental ~
Looks good but I noticed a few things. These are more personal preference than C/C for the work itself. As someone said before me, the rings on the outside have a wierd fuzzy edge for me that isn't turning out. Not sure if it's that way on your screen but nice sharp edges would make the whole thing look better IMHO. The picture for the flame is nice but it's kinda out of focus. I know it's hard to get good sharp pictures of flames but looking at this one kind of makes me go crosseyed. Because the air and water are on the same side it unbalances the whole picture becuase they're similar colors. Maybe switch the air and the nature or the water and fire. The rings around the pictures definatly look metallic but there's something wierd about them to me that I can't quite place. It may be that the distortions (dark parts) on the ring suggest reflectivity like a mirror but the lighter parts are uniformly shiny like brushed steel. I'm not sure that's it though. Finally, at least to me, the gray BG is boring and bland. Sorry but I don't have any suggestions on how to fix this, it just looks wrong. BTW why'd you change your name Gold? Got your account banned or something?

Just a little thing I want to stress to all posters here.
+1  All joking aside, I completely agree with you cad. Arctic is right too. I see too many "rate plz" posts. Ratings, at least to me, seem dependant more on the persons likes and dislikes as art and less on the actual method used to get the effect.

Easier access to your posts
Uuuuummmmmm........... 1. Wrong forum, this belongs in forum discussion and suggestions 2. It already exists. Go to the Index and on the right side there are three links. "View your posts", "View unanswered posts", and "View posts since your last visit". The "view your posts" tab shows all the posts you've ever made that still exist and links you to their threads.

Any input into my pure!
I hate all you pk pures  on topic: Try to get better prayer. I assume that you are relying on your main for money but I would still get at least one money making skill on your pure.

Ability to trade houses...
Cool, you could start real estate in RS. I support.

My version of clan support
Looks pretty cool man. Only problem I see is that clans could potentially choose the same cape. Doubt that Jagex will actually implement this but if they do, I'll definatly have to join a clan. :

New Wildy Healing Suggestion
I'm suprised I'm actually making this suggestion seeing as I hate pkers (especially rune mine pkers..........lazy [wagon]....... ). Anyways! Here's my simple idea: Players should be able to use food on another person in the wilderness to heal them but only in multicombat zones. This, IMHO, would make noobs in clans actually important instead of just players that absorb big hits and poke back higher levels. Alternatively there could be bandage spawns (like the castle wars bandages) in the upper floor of the Monastary. Bandages would function the same way they would in castle wars (maybe healing 5 damage instead of 3?). Same principal as above, only in multicombat zones. I'm sure many of you will find the ways people will abuse this much better than I so have at it!

On a related note, you can see one in the distance from the prison pete random; is it used for the same quest?

Wats my money makin skill?
I'd say right now fishing is your best bet. Go to Catherby and bank all the lobsters/tuna/whatever you fish.

Is it always night!?
Because people from all around the world play, the day night cycle would be wierd for people in, say, Australia. Maybe instead of always night always day? With clouds and a sun or at least a sky of some sort.

Anthracite -An Expansion to Mining
This, IMHO, makes smelting too easy. It's not that the idea is bad, it's that the item being mineable would make it too common. My idea is to be able to refine coal somehow to make have the same effect i.e. 1/2 as much required to smelt. The method to refine the coal would have a failure rate similar to smelting iron. I was thinking around 25% or even lower. This would make the oree prohibitively expensive for the average smither and thus, prevent smithing from becoming too easy to level. Just my idea.
-
Is 85 Mining still worth it?
I mined my way from level 70-85 in F2P, 80-85 with powermining. IMHO, it's worth it but not as much as you might think. IT probably is the best money I've ever made playing RS but there are craploads of pkers. I see that you have a decent combat level so you shouldn't be bothered as much as me (combat 70). I've found that at my level, I probably end up banking 1/2 or less of the ores I mine due to pkers even when I use a scout account.

Floating Cities -Updated-
I think it sounds cool as long as you the player don't get to fly yourself. Maybe a new transport option like a giant hawk or something could take you there like a boat.
