  1. Might have missed me, but I'll ask again, since to me this seems like a flaw. Many items just don't sell on the grand exchange. How can a person pay a fine if the fine is equal to their entire bank account if the destruction box is unable to sell many items to get the required amount for the fine? Because if the items have to sell on the grand exchange, then someone might be stuck in lockdown for a long amount of time simply because the grand exchange won't sell the items. I believe that is the point. They're going to either have to abandon the account, or work hard to gain items that can be put into the destruction box. Wasting tens to hundreds of hours for your own mistake is one way to learn.
  2. Well for the CT green dragons you can drop nature runes/green dragonhides in the other room and watch them all attempt to walk through the wall to get it.
  3. That was an interesting rant. I personally wouldn't be put off by the complaints of some child I crashed. I do agree that if you train the stats, you're free to do what you want with them. However, if someone with higher stats attempts to crash me, I'm still going to lure, anti-crash and do whatever I can to make them leave. Hell, I'll crash players with higher stats and do whatever possible to make them leave. You might think that because you have higher stats you earned the spot, but for me it's whoever can put up with it the longest earns the spot. The player will have to put up with me crashing continually, potentially getting friends to come help crash them, and all the while try to get their kills fast enough that they're not wasting time by not hopping. To me the stats mean nothing, and it's all about the crashing ability. That being said, I can't currently remember the last time someone crashed me. The worlds never seem all that crowded for myself.
  4. One lash across the palm of said player's hand for every xp or gp gained against the rules. I do like your ideas, Grimy. However, what I am scared of is Jagex wrongfully banning people. Actually, I guess this doesn't pertain to mutes which are about the only rule the average honest player could break.... so bring it on!
  5. I don't suggest burning your cashpile on prayer or herblore yet. I definitely suggest you train summoning though. At least work towards 68 for a bunyip as it is quite nice for most combat training. You can set a goal towards a unicorn later, but a bunyip has quite a bit of pull for the low requirement level it has. I would then suggest working your melee's and range to 90+ (maybe just 85 range if you really dislike it). After this I would start to worry about burning a hole through your pocket with prayer or herblore. Both prayer and herblore cost relatively the same amount in regards to gp/xp. You're looking at 20-24gp/xp dependant on current GE pricing. I believe prayer with dragon bones it about 22gp/xp at this moment, and herblore is similar dependant on the potion (think limps are crashing again). Basically your end goals (aside from 99) in these two stats should be roughly 95 prayer (all prayers) and 91 herblore (can stew to overloads). They will both cost relatively the same, but I personally feel prayer to be the more useful of the two. Soulsplit is like smite on steroids, and turmoil is piety's badass older brother (turmoil has the same drain rate as piety). Simply, they're quite powerful, so they have their costs. This isn't saying that the higher end herblore potions aren't without their strengths or uses. I just feel that when you can already buy super potions, there isn't a ridiculous need for the extremes (not a greater need than prayer anyways). In the end it will be your decision. They both help with combat, so both seem like decent choices. Ohh, and this is all based on you acquiring said cashpile, so good luck with that. |^_^|
  6. My suggestion is stand out in the open with melee protection on and rip his face off. Although, I didn't use a kyatt when I killed him (just a tortoise sufficed, 25 brews remainder).
  7. Ohh right! You're taking those courses. What particularly do you have to write about? I just finished an assignment for my co-op work placement today, though I enjoy writing... even if it is for school. :P

  8. Hopefully a Monday or Tuesday since I have them off!
  9. Aw, I half thought this was going to be some new and exciting news about the ROW. Sadly, that half of me is foolish and young. Thanks for the reminder I guess.
  10. Apparently mine is bugged. I continue to set it to public, but not even those on my friends list can see it. <_<
  11. I believe it would be more xp/hr to complete your lower level floors as small dungeons, and your higher level floors as medium. Although if you want maximum experience you'll want to do teams of 5 with small dungeons on the lower floors, and teams of 5 with large dungeons on the higher level floors. Seems like you prefer solo though. |^_^|
  12. I like your profile pic Spoofer! *bubbly pink heart emote*

  13. Yep. It happened a number of times to me as well, so I just left for good.
  14. If you haven't spent any tokens yet, you will have enough for a chaotic item at roughly level 80. If you have spent tokens, then you would need to of course regain that many more tokens.
  15. Dragon bones are 22.01 gp/xp at the moment. I believe Frost Dragon bones are around 27 gp/xp. Frost are 2.5x faster experience/hr than dragon bones, but at an increased cost for already fast training, the time saved isn't too enormous. With the current price of dragon bones, I personally consider it a great time to train your prayer. In my opinion turmoil & ss are more useful than overloads. I personally paid 24._gp/xp for 52-99 prayer a short while ago, so maybe that's why I feel like the current price is a steal.
  16. Happy birthday crazy John! :)

  17. What's up this weekend? More sober escapades with drunken strangers at weddings? :P

  18. Oh wait, that face doesn't belong to you! XD

  19. You have a profile pic that shows your face now... O.o

  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU4L6THYAbM&feature=related 4th of July - Soundgarden
  21. Haven't turned on the Runescape music for almost 5 years now. As far as non-Runescape related music, well most of what I listen to is listed in the "What are you listening to right now!?" thread, in the Off-Topic section of the forums.

    Poems

Comes and Goes She feels that tickle in her mind, It comes and goes again. Grasping at those words she can't find, It comes and goes again. You can see the emotion in her eyes, It comes and goes again. Don't be fooled by beauty, she is wise, It comes and goes again. Calling within, she needs a sign, It comes and goes again. Show me your thoughts, I'll make them mine, It comes and goes again. Her thoughts come together in time, It comes and goes again. Now her world has become a rhyme, It comes and goes again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I made this poem one evening while talking to a friend about the songs she writes. I mentioned I also like to write, but poetry (as I can't play any instrument very well), rather than the songs she writes. She said we should write a song together, and I agreed. She then mentioned that she always had trouble thinking of the words, and that she wanted me to write her a poem. So I said I'd write a quick one based on her difficulty to write the songs. It was pretty fun to write, though there isn't really any specifically insightful meaning to the poem. Just a good time.
  23. Oh hi old me. Meet new me. [hide][/hide] You look like Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree: [hide][/hide] Bizarre. I know a Steven Wilson irl.. the gel in his hair is like a porcupine...
  24. W117 Daemonheim is the unoffical world for setting up dungeoneering teams. You will notice people advertising the team they are making, and those advertising the team they want. If you find someone advertising the team you want to be in, simply trade them and wait on an invite back. Be sure that you are not currently in a Dungeoneering team before doing so, or the invitation will not be received. Also, some players may neglect to send an invitation based on your combat level or Dungeoneering level. It's worth pointing out that you can expect some moderate lag in W117, as it is continually generating and processing Dungeons for a large quantity of players. You may also notice that W117 Daemonheim bank is a great place to assist or receive assistance for effigies.
