I would continue with the Godwars attempts. Seeing as you haven't tried Kree, I would suggest going with some friends, or maybe go with a mass-Arma lootshare clan just to get the feel of it. Check out the cc "Unh0lydeath" for a mass-Arma clan. They don't go everyday, but they go time to time, usually getting quite a few Armadyl drops each day. This isn't really meant to be the method of making money, but its a good way to get familar with Armadyl for the first time with next to no risk. I would suggest you stick with Godwars though. It might not pay out right away if you haven't gone much, but it eventually will.
  2. It's not true that I like to farm the most expensive fruit tree along with oaks? I suggest you read what I write before quoting it and commenting on it. I never even mentioned costs, just that it is what I like to do.
  3. Avansies or Fire Giants. I ranged fire giants from 80-99 range. It was 40-60k+ xp/hr dependant on what level I was. However, now there are broad bolts to use which are faster experience than knives at a high range level. They are also quite cost effective. I forget the exact cash amount I made at Fire Giants, but it was over 20M. Although avansies are slightly less experience and more cash/hr. With your stats you could simply tank them and use bones to peaches - making decent profit on the noted addy bar drops.
  4. If you go to the F2P world that specialized in GOP (W61) you will notice people advertising their clan chats for 50-50 GOP games. Simply go to one, the chat leader will decide on a world to play in and then you will go about doing so.
  5. They were once high priced do to the lack of the GE (ease of selling), the lack of other high-priced items (bling), and because of staking. The main reason is the stakers. They knew that there was a limited amount of rares and that they could also show off with them. See, when such a large number of people invest in rares to use as staking items the amount that people are willing to sell really dwindles. This made rares an easy investment for any staker as the item would continually increase in worth and they could still use it to stake for cash. If you were an active merchanter of rares during the time of the staking removal you will undoubtly remember the huge price crash that it caused. The introduction of the GE at that time also made it really easy to sell those rares - so a lot of people did. The huge influx of people selling rares filled all the buying offers and essentially flooded the market. This caused for a fall in the worth of rares. Graphs were also introduced later, so even the children who couldn't be bothered to watch the prices fall were able to see it on a pretty picture. Remembering their 3rd grade math they simply decided that the item was unstable (which it was) and decided not to buy any. With no way to stop the rapid price drop rares were doomed to fall to until F2P'ers (the now main buyers of rares) were able to easily afford them.
  6. That is about the best setup you can get. Although you might want to switch the ROW for the Warrior Ring (underrated). Unless of course you feel the ROW helps with the drops. I personally have had better luck without it and enjoy the attack bonus and cheap cost of the Warrior Ring.
  7. If you calculate the gp/xp for trees and fruit trees you will see that the most expensive fruit tree is a similar cost to a maple tree (payment costs included). This means that you should always use the best fruit tree you possibly can. It is your choice as to what you want to spend on trees, but as of last month, yews & magic trees were the same gp/xp with payment costs included. Although, be aware that these trees are 2-3x the gp/xp as even the most expensive of fruit trees. I personally like to farm the most expensive fruit tree along with oaks. I just don't use a payment with the oaks. Lately I have been getting rid of a stockpile of orange saplings, though - so when I end up with 3k~ oranges I plan to switch to maple trees. With the most expensive farming method using only trees/fruit trees/calquat I believe it will take about 2 months for 99 farming from your level with 1 tree run per day. Although this costs somewhere around 100M if I remember correctly.
  8. Definitely the DFS. Godswords are only useful for their special attack, and the Bandos Godsword's use is limited to PvP (with energy restore) and solo'ing the Bandos boss. If you want fast experience/kills definitely stick with an Abyssal Whip and throw on the DFS for a nice defence bonus. A rune defender will also work well seeing as your defence is already high and the attack/str bonuses from the defender will aid in faster experience. If you don't already have bandos armour I would suggest on that. The DFS is nice and quite cost effective for the extra defence it provides. If you like you could save for a SGS or AGS, but they really don't have as much use to a player with your stats unless you plan on killing some bosses/PvP/Duels. As far as slaying goes you're better off with a whip for most tasks. You might want a Sara Sword or Zammy Spear for those Waterfiends, though. Happy slaying. :
  9. Judging by the prices, this item now has a maximum price cap of 17gp. This has happened to a variety of items lately. Hopefully you didn't have a whole bunch of Raw Bird Meat before this update.

It is worth it provided you aren't noticing a lot of diseased/dead herbs. If you start to notice your Ranarr die often, then switch to a cheaper seed until your farming level is higher.
  11. People knew I played, but that didn't change anything for the worse. It's not different than people knowing someone plays a Halo, or someone likes to ride horses. After a while a couple people also started playing Runescape, but sadly they quit when the "old wildy" was removed. -.- Also, on the aspect of girls knowing I played Runescape - they did. It didn't change a thing though. You'd be surprised how many people really don't judge based on one thing. Those who've had problems with people making fun of them over playing a game; the people calling you down for it are more than likely lacking something and are trying to put attention on to you so it is never found out.
  12. Evil Oak Tree Oak Roots - 6.5xp Oak Tree - 32.5xp Oak Fire - 300xp Oak Sapling - ?? I can never seem to get to a tree in time for the sapling nurturing. Sorry. -.-
  13. I prefer PvP over Bounty Hunter and really feel that there isn't even a need for the drop system it has. I'd really like to close off the open doors that RWT'ers are using. It would at least make me feel a bit better about losing the "old wilderness" and staking. Good riddance. :
  14. You have the following as the clue for the area south-west of Castle Wars: "It can be found in a location with rare trees and ogres nearby." I had this clue, but I had it for the location West of Ooglog. Does this mean one clue can be various areas?
  15. I was browsing through the Ranged skill guide and noticed an error. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=ranged_guide.htm#armour In the section that showcases the Black Leather Chaps, the statistics list this item to give a Magic Defence bonus of +26. It should read a Magic Defence bonus of +28. Correcting this error will make the Black Leather Chaps equal to the range armours of the gods (which they are). I hope this helps. :
  16. I forgot, they don't teach about protected sex in the Sex-Ed classes until age 14. \ He'll likely have his first beer when his kid starts going to school. Thinking about that made me laugh a bit. I suppose it is entirely the decision of these children, but I believe that it isn't wise to have a family of your own until you can support them.. nevermind before you can drive to a job. Well, I wish the best to the child.. make that all the children. :?
  17. I deem the experience as too low to be worthy for general training. Sure, there are instances where it might be worthy, but generally I wouldn't consider it a great place to train. I just used it for the pets, and I doubt I'll really play it much anymore. Maybe at about 96 magic I'll use it since it'll be more xp/hr alching around that level. Although, when I high alch I can do that at rune rocks and amass 200-500k profit per hour.. so just the same maybe I won't play Soul Wars. I hope the skillers enjoy the experience.
  18. I really couldn't care less if skillers trained slayer with this. All I would hope for is that a skilling addition was added to soul wars so they could be of more help. Sure they can bury bones, set barricades, heal players and other things, but they likely won't. If there was a skilling aspect, maybe they would be enticed to help. If a skiller wants to put in the 1000-2000 hours for 99 slayer, then I couldn't care less. It's not like they will be competition at the Abyssal Demons, or something that really matters to me. It's not my time they're spending on the slow experience. :
  19. Nachalo. I agree with the general idea, for reasons I will not mention. It's not like Jagex will agree and randomly go through with this. I am sure they have considered many similar ideas over the years. If the rares are not gone now they likely never will be. You could say "ohh but that's what Joe Blow said about pking", but pking was a method of RWT. This is not.
  20. Very nice. I'm currently getting the points for the Kurask. I got the abyssal first since I liked it a bit more. : There is no big version of any of the Soul Wars pets. They all remain the size that they are when you first obtain them. An adult Kurask would just be too much fun. #-o
  21. Cake Budlite Angel Pie Actually, I was talking to Cake, and his whole friends list is a compilation of players with amazing names. It's like a club. :o Anyways, I made a few that I like: Wisdamn Skilled Fury Mr Machinist Damn Heroic Doom Stalker Honest Guilt
  22. Well, here it is. I did try alching the whip from the demon, and it gave 0gp. It took about 12 hours for the points, and 5 hours for the head. All in all it was a fun challenge. I think I'll get a pet Kurask next. It's the only one I haven't seen yet. : Ohh, and on a side-note.. what's up with this? I've been seeing these glitches all over. I've been told it was something to do with penguins. It looks like a crazy little monster carrying a dark bow. No need to complain to me about my choice in reward either. Based on the xp I would get, I deemed the pet worthy.
  23. You better hope it's the intestines. Also, I didn't know the slayer tower looked so amazing in High Detail. Now I need to get a new computer.
  24. Heh, reminds me of checking out Runescape as a new player. Everything seemed so dangerous back then. Interesting story by the way. I didn't understand one part though, did you escape?
  25. Well, I never really cared for Castle Wars, so I enjoy having another mini-game that I have fun playing. I still prefer Stealing Creation, but Soul Wars is a second. Without a doubt in my mind, Mobilizing Armies will replace the both of them as my most favoured game. I only believe that because it is of the RTS genre which I prefer. As for Soul Wars replacing Castle Wars, I doubt it ever could. Soul Wars isn't much for a game, and will die down when people realize a good portion of it is just leechers. I also don't see it as viable combat xp for anyone who doesn't mind actually training. Just give it some time, and your castle walls will be busy once more. :
