[hide=] Hehe. : [/hide] Gotta love the use of quotes to get the point across. Seriously, every girl I know loves to get compliments, provided they aren't perverted. (the compliments, not the girls) :-# I suppose I have to add that we do have a lot of good looking people on TIF, and most people aren't beyond complimenting another person, so you can only expect it to occur. :

Grammar Grouching
I'm not too sure. I could guess that those people have nothing better to do, or maybe that is one of their top priorities. What is really strange is when you use proper grammar and whatnot, and some tool complains about it. (I don't mean you by the way) I was on arcanists once and was typing properly as I usually do, then some guy started to complain about it, so I guess it works both ways now.. which is actually quite strange.

Winter Jackets?
[hide=]quote="megakiller32"] You look like a stereotype Frat-Boy from a British Interpretation of Frat-Boys. (These weird American fraternities don't exist properly here, thank moses) [/hide] Sorry, I don't have a clue what you mean.. although that might be for the best. Nice picture of your jacket though, ohh wait.. you're just trolling the thread. :

11 November 2008 - Stealing Creation
Morphic ---> 62% Volatile ---> 85% (not sure) 1) Pickaxe and hatchet require smithing. I don't know about the other tools, because I'm 80+ in most other skills used in this game. 2) Staves probably use crafting. Robes appear to be magic, but I'm not certain. 3) It varies, no one is really sure yet. Thanks a lot. I don't believe the robes require magic because at level 90 magic I can not create the level 5 robes. I suppose I'll go and get 80 crafting, and see what that unlocks.

Winter Jackets?
When the temperature is -5 to +10C, which would be around September, I wear this: When it cools off in winter to about -30 to -55C, I wear this, or a variation of it:

I love the mini-game. I would like better rewards.. but I love the mini-game. I am curious, and it pains me to scan through all the pages with dial up, so if someone could answer the following questions, it would be great. 1) What skill is used in the creation of tools? I had believed crafting. 2) What skill is used in the creation of magic robes/staffs? I also figured it might be crafting. 3) What is the smithing bonus on the volatile and morphic hammers? Thanks in advance. :

Acne
Once again, just use this. It really does beat anything else by a long stretch, it will just dry your lips quite a bit. Hmmm.. "ro(accutane)".. I am guessing this stuff is something along the lines of what I suggested. It even has the same drying properties. I'd have to agree with this product if that is so.

Acne
If you are looking for a product, I would suggest talking to a doctor about the use of "Accutane". I may have spelled it wrong, but if you mention it to your doctor out loud then it should be fine. My sister had rather bad acne and she used it. It took a few months, but it cleared her face up, and there haven't been further breakouts according to her. From what I understand it dries your skin by partially closing glands that produce oils on your skin because in a lot of acne cases it is due to excess production of these oils. I suppose this would mean your skin will become dry while you take it, but I seriously think the benefit would outweigh something such as that. Also, there are likely moisturizing lotions and whatnot that you could use. If I remember correctly the dose was in a pill she took, which is rather convenient. I myself never really had too much of an acne problem, but I know that lack of washing your face, or excessively washing it can cause irritations to occur on your skin. One thing to definitely be sure of is that when you shave (I presume you are male), is that you shave properly with the direction the hair is supposed to grow. Improperly shaving can easily cause skin irritation since with a dull blade hairs can be pulled by the root, or when shaving in the wrong direction they can be pulled as well. I think this is generally all I know on the topic. I can't say I wish that I had more experience with it so I could better help you, but this will have to be my contribution. All I can say is don't let it get you down.

Lady Shahdie's Journey to 99 Smithing - MOVED TO THE BLOG TAB!
Good luck and don't give up. It seems like a lot of the female f2p players like to achieve a high mining level. It seems like Tif 'ers are very patient. \

1 life for 5?
Umm.. it would be quite convenient if 5 people's bodies accepted the organs from that one person without attempting to reject them. Personally, I'd let the healthy guy live.. but why is he in a hospital if he is healthy? Is he visiting? If so, maybe he cares enough for these people to offer his organs to them and save the 5? I'm just trying to make this complicated.

If a cure for Lung Cancer was invented...
I don't believe there is any good reason to maim your body by smoking if you aren't already having trouble with it. Also.. I don't consider cigarettes to be very cheap. I really wouldn't care to have any extra expenses on top of those I already have. It would be great if there was a cure for lung cancer, though. :

That explains it. I was wondering why there were missing pieces when I tried to load it in order to look up some prices. Well, I hope it works great. :

Archer helm or Black D'hide coif?
I'd definitely choose a god coif over either of those options. If you must choose between those two, then go with the archer helmet. Range bonus generally doesn't make a huge difference as range is quite accurate at higher levels. I'd just go with the cheaper option, and although the prices have likely changed, a guthix coif was around 50k before pvp. :

11 November 2008 - Stealing Creation
Well, I still need to try it out. With what I hear about the updates, I can only hope that they are updated themselves to be more intriguing. I couldn't care less about more combat armour, but some more skilling items would be nice. : Hopefully the game is tweaked and we can see more praising and less ranting.

Why do I keep re-subscribing
I understand exactly what you mean. I've been doing this for the past 6 months. It really doesn't take away from anything in real life, as I play during a time that there is nothing else to do aside from watching television. I just kind of wish I could at least stand staying f2p.

Your views on having close friends of the opposite sex?
I think it is great to have close friends of the opposite sex. Although, just as there are reasons for that, I think it is important to have some friends of the same sex.

BUNCHA SEXY PICS FROM SAIF SoZ ABOUT CAPS DARKDUDE
Nice achievements, Saifz. What combat are you with those summoning levels? I wish I didn't find magic training so boring.. then maybe I could get a similar level. : Good luck at Armadyl btw, I still haven't been to that particular godwars boss.

Unpopularity of PvP worlds
After reading this I must once more mourn the loss of the old way (old in my eyes) and I will have to shed yet another tear. It has been quite obvious that the general community hasn't changed for the better. Sometimes I fear that the only people on Runescape worth talking to are the ones in certain clan chats, fansite forums, and my friend list. I do definitely find it strange that there are so many ways to avoid losing items in worlds that I had thought were designed to be the most unsafe portion of the game. I can't do much about it aside from complaining and living in the memory of certain parts of the past. However, if I think about the past too much I might just get stuck there and have to go through all of this once again, so I will do my best with suggestions on the RSOF, regardless of how much it pains me to see the quality of some comments there. In short, all I can suggest aside from making the pvp worlds a place where item loss is imminent and hoping that some people will mature at a faster rate would be the use of a duel arena, one that is unsafe. This arena could have stakes and give random drops based on the stakes being certain values from each player, just as the drops are based on that with the current pvp worlds. These duels could have set options similar to the current duel arenas, but would not allow the player to leave if they accepted a duel (of course there would be the regular half a dozen acception screens to prevent ranting about "accidental" loss of ones items). This would mean no logging out of the duel, no teleporting, no resigning, etc.. If we can have safe staking duels, why not unsafe ones where your items and stake would be lost in return for a random drop. At least with this rules could be set, people wouldn't whine about someone not doing what they feel is honourable, and all those other "rules" that people so often preach, but do not practice unless they feel fit to do so. I personally think this could solve a few problems, but maybe I am just hoping for a bit too much.. :

Magic, more of a secondary?
I like to look at it based on the way I trained my account. I began a mage pure, got 80+ mage on f2p, got members, got 99 strength, got 99 ranged, got 99 hitpoints, got 99 attack, and my mage ended up still being in the 80s.. Two and a half years of having 80+ magic, and I got it to 90 just this week. I definitely consider it a secondary skill. I look for mages when I pk because I consider them easy kills. I really don't rely on it as a skill by itself. Although, that is just my opinion. :
